My daughter had a Maine coon who never liked me! Until she moved out and took the cat! When I visited he loved me! He also liked playing with the raccoons on the house roof! He passed at 15yrs! He was a runt for his breed!he was very different from my half siamese- Russian blue! I have a severe cat allergy! My baby is ok for allergies!
I love Maine Coons. Wish I had one. I have to disagree on some of your true and false. I've been watching videos. 1. Never saw a video where the cat is angry, even when rough playing with other cats and small dogs. 2. Seen some loving belly rubs. 3. They appear to be very social, jumping on sofas and laying down next to a person. 4. They do sit on naps. 5. Saw video of Maine Coon kitten on their owner's stomach and meowing, like an ordinary cat. I've also seen videos where a grown Maine did meow. 6. Some do love water. One video showed a cat laying next to their dishes, dipping their paw in their water dish and licking the water off their paw. Another showed a cat walking along the rim of a bathtub, to get to the faucet so they could tilt their head under the faucet to drink water. Another video showed a Maine lounging in a tub of water, as if it was natural. Plus there are pictures of Maines walking in snow, which is a form of water. Since they are very independent, you can judge the behavior of one as they mind set of all. Maybe this is how your cat behaves. Very independent. Thank you for the video.
My sister has a mainecoon that purrs and chirps and loves to be pet. His brother is a mix and will come sit and fall asleep in my lap and he has very long meows.
My MC looked just like your beautiful boy. He lived to be 23!!! I'll tell you a little story - i ALWAYS wanted a MC. One day I was shopping in Petco. Was in the cat food aisle and guess what was at the end of it? The adoptions windows, of course! Told myself to walk on by, but....i stopped "just a second" to look. There was a poor old cat there who was so depressed he didn't even raise his head up. He was so full of hairballs they had to shave him very short. I felt so sad for him and told the clerk "I'll take that sad cat" I took him home, and nd as his hair grew out -- he was a beautiful MAINE COON❤❤❤❤ !!!!!! He was the sweetest cat I've ever had in my 72 yrs.
Found my MC at a yard sale, which became her name. It was more of a rescue, the previous owners hated her. We had a rough 1st year w/me going to the Doctors twice for bite infections. Once I gained her trust, she was a totaly different cat. RIP Yardsale.
My female Maine Coon also lived to be 23 and was the most beautiful, intelligent cat I have ever had. She was named Fuzzball and my son brought her home from KMart where a boy was giving them away. When I saw her beautiful face and enormous eyes I knew she was going to be ours. She was just as smart as they say and figured out how to let a rabbit out of its hatch in a backyard several streets away from us, just so they could play. The rabbit owner followed her home just to tell me how smart my cat was!
My MC was the best friend I've had. Brain surgery cancer shunt surgeries cancer treatment he was always right there with me flipping his tail in my face while I slept or he loved to hunt for me. He protected me from a momma racoon.i miss him had him 14 half yrs.
Had a fenale main coon and she was very affectionnate cat. She loved to sleep on my lap and she had a favorite blanked and would put that blanked on me and jumped quickly on me and loved to be peted and would purr so much. She loved it in the morning when i took her in my arms and was rocking her. She was just a good cat. Miss her so much. Was just a wonderful cat.
I have a main coon female named Suzy. She is hardly ever more than a few feet from me. If I fall asleep in my chair she she pays my legs to wake up. She likes water. Has 'll Sat behind me when I shower and loves people.
We have a male Maine Coin, Sprocket. Definitely the most gentle, loving, intelligent cat I've ever known. I've even trained him to sit at meals, sit and stay on his bed, open the outside door himself, ring a homemade door bell when he wants to go out, and come when called. Definitely the dog of the cat world. He loves to follow you on walks like a dog as well. He chirps much like Grace, but also has a whole vocabulary of meows. He loves the ppl food like Grace too! He also never uses his claws on humans (even at the vet getting shots! He will try to escape, but never lashes out.) However he is certainly a lap dweller, and is the most affectionate cat I've known, constantly nuzzling, and wanting to be on your lap (the only exception is during the hot weather). We loved your video! Please post more! :-D I especially love your commentary for Grace!
Sarah McMillan ~ My male Dwarf Maine Coon, Squish, is very like your Sprocket; in that, my husband calls him my puppy, because he follows me everywhere. Also, Squish has a large meow/merp vocabulary. If he can't find me, he even meows "mah-mah"! Supurr cute! Although, he doesn't like to sit in laps, he *Loves* getting his belly rubbed. 😺 Whether giants or dwarves, Maine Coons truly are sweethearts!!!
Mine lays meatloaf on my chest and likes to rub his face against my chin if i havent shaved my face recently. Also if i am sleeping too long for his liking, he knows he can ever so slightly extend his claws and gently touch my face. Hes poking me, only because he knows I can be a heavy sleeper haha. It was so cool seeing him really understanding my personality and adapting accordingly. Always in a respectful way of course (duh). It proves that the constant eye contact is really them being so intrigued and interested in bonding and building the most loving relationship between animal and man that i have ever experienced. I love my Francis. He turns 4 is September
I've had a lot of cats and every one had a different personality and quirks. I've had a Maine Coon and a Siamese and both loved high places, while my other cats are Tabbys and prefer to lie on the back of the sofa. The best cat you'll have is one you raised from a kitten, they bond with you more completely though with time an adult will also bond with you. I had one orange Tabby that liked to play catch much like a dog, and purred so loud people heard him from across the room! Treat all pets with love and respect and you'll be rewarded with many years of enjoyment and returned love.
I've hardly ever had kittens. Mine are usually adult rescues, and after a time an adult will bond with you. It has taken up to two years for some of my adult rescues. Once they realize that they have found a forever home is when they begin to trust. After the trust builds, the bonding begins. To me that kind of love and bonding means so much more. It has to be earned.
@@jazzcatt Yes, I have two right now! Both were orphaned when young and spent time in a shelter. It took a while but now they are becoming friendly pests. They insist on sleeping on my lap and blocking the keyboard even as I type this!
We had a Maine Coon years ago. He was was sweetest cat we have ever had. He never bit or scratched anyone. He was gentle and fun loving. He played fetch as well as any dog. He didn't mind belly rubs but did not like to sit in your lap. Like in the video, he would stay for a few seconds and then move on but he loved to sit next to us. I miss him a lot.
My kitten is part mainecoon. He has all the "typical" traits personality wise. He also has the ears. He's so talkative and cuddly. He naps in my arms on his back, belly up. It's so hard not to laugh when he does it. Too cute.
I've rescued a Maine Coon from the woods. She must have been abused, but in the 3 years I've had her she has somewhat overcome that fear of mistreatment. It took a lot of work, but she is really the best cat ever. She runs the dogs, has learned not to tear me apart while we play, and actually tries to sleep with me. It's been a long time coming.
We had a Maine Coon in the 70’s/80’s. Sam was such an awesome kitty! He was orange, tan and white, really beautiful! He had those beautiful rings on his tail, and webbed double pawed feet. He was enormous! In his prime he weighed in at 35lbs. He’d scare people who came over and met him for the first time because of his size but he was, as it’s said, a gentle giant ♥️. He had one bad habit and we’d have to watch him so he wouldn’t get into trouble. He LOVED alcoholic drinks! If you poured a beer into a glass if you left it and walked away his face would be right in the glass drinking away! Same for mixed drinks, especially sweet drinks. Since alcohol is a huge no no with any pet we’d really had to watch him. He lived to age 18, it was hard saying so long for now but it was his time. He wasn’t ill, but he’d lost a lot of weight in a short time span. If we really listen they tell us when it’s time. And the last gift of love we give them is to be with them as they begin their next journey. 😊♥️
My Maine Coon likes potato chips. He also likes sweet candy called Smarties. If he sees me eating Smarties, he will run over and beg until I give him a tiny bite. The only time I let him have chips is if we are trimming his claws. It's the only way he will allow me to cut his claws, I have to feed him little bites of Barbecue chips while I'm doing it. I've never had a cat that liked junk food, until I got this cat. I love my cats so much!
I had a Maine Coon cat at one time. His name was Sydney. I had him for 14 years. Unfortunately, he passed away 6 or 7 years ago. He was a stray and he adopted me. The biggest problem in having pets is that we outlive them. It's like losing your best friend. Now, I have a Korat cat. Her name is Katherine. She is sweet and affectionate. She also was a stray cat. Now, she has a forever home.
DoowopLover 1946 Agreed. My Maine Coon, Hercules, died almost 15 years ago. I’ve rescued strays since, but since I’m down to one cat, I’m thinking that it’s time for another M.C. I’m thinking of an elderly cat at a shelter that I can pamper. G
@@apokryphos117g Prior to having Sydney, my Maine Coon cat, I had a dog named Rocky. He was a husky/border collie/wolf hybrid mix. I raised him from a little puppy. When he died, he was almost 15 years old. I went through a phase where I didn't want any more pets, because it hurts so much, and I can't handle the heartbreak. Then a year or two later, there was a cat who lived across the street. The people moved and left him behind. I left cat food and water on the carport for him. Then he came inside, and the rest is history. I had Sydney for 14 years, and when he died, I put cat food out on my terrace for the stray cats. A few came inside, and the others preferred to remain feral. But they all had something to eat. About 4 months ago, I saw a little gray female cat in the building next door. Then I saw her scrounging around for food. She came inside, sniffed around, and made herself at home. Apparently, a case of someone moving and leaving the cat behind. I know she is a Korat cat, and they originally came from Thailand. She is very sweet and affectionate. I named her Katherine. She is usually quiet, but if she wants something, she becomes very vocal. I agree that it's best to adopt a pet rather than buy one from a pet shop. Or take in a stray if the animal is willing. If you really want to adopt that Maine Coon cat at a shelter, then go for it....Doo.
We adopted a true father and son this past August. Wow! They are amazing and our now six-month old kitten is over 6kg on a raw diet! He’s already larger than any non-Maine Coon I’ve ever had. His Dad, who had been neutered the day of adoption is now 9kg at eighteen months. They’re not chubby, just big and powerful. Dad can easily make a 165cm broad jump from a standing start. Their paws and claws are huge, but they are both so incredibly gentle.
Purrfect video. Spot on. But my Maine Coon loves to take showers with me. Also brings back the ball and meows out of the blue. She is VERY picky when it comes to dinner time, but I think most spoiled cats are. She knows her name and follows me everywhere- even outdoors.
I have a male maine coon cat, and he stays in my lap all the time. He loves to curl up on my chest to sleep, and it's adorable! Plus he meows quite a bit. Well, it's more like talking, and it sounds a little strange, but he's so vocal. I don't know exactly how old he is, but I'm thinking he's a year or two old. He definitely uses claws but I don't think he means to. Of course he bites when he's grumpy lol
My Maine Coon is one of the most gentle giants I have ever seen. He is careful to lie down on his side to play with smaller cats so they are not afraid of his size.
My MC used to sit on my lap all the time. He would sit at my feet and stare in demand until I picked him up (he only had 3 legs). He also meowed, a very chatty, talking, chirping meow. Sweetest and smartest cat I've ever had.
Our Maine Coon is Snickerdoodle - he's a cameo, just the color of a snickerdoodle cookie! He's only almost 5 months, so he hasn't quite figured out yet that his little claws are Sharp! He'll catch on, though - he may be a hooligan of a kitten, but he's smart as can be. He likes playing fetch, too! =)
I had a MC who lived to be 20; every day when I came home from work she would jump up on my lap and curl up, even if it was 90 degrees in the shade! Some of them are lap cats.
My Maine Coon will meow 3 times. If I do not stop he will bite me. It HURTS TOO!!! He also weighs 23lbs. He is the sweetest cat I have ever owned. He loves snuggling. Just found your channel and subscribed. 😊
We just found out that our 1 yr old cat, Archie is a Maine Coon!!! We are still so shocked we had no idea. We always just thought he was "a long haired orange tabby"....and then I looked into it further and he looks exactly like every maine coon. He looks identical to Grace, but orange. We got him for free off kijiji when he was 8 weeks old...Anyways, he does the same things as Grace except - he LOVES sitting on my lap. He comes on my lap each morning when I drink my coffee and I clean the little crusties out of his eyes. We're excited to learn more about him! Great video btw :)
Beautiful cat. Fun video. I enjoyed watching this beautiful cat right up until the end where we see her food and water bowls in the same room with her litter box. Imagine if you had to eat next to the potty you poo and pee in. Cats don't like it either. They are very clean animals,. Other than having her food near her toilet she seems very happy and very well cared for. I miss my Maine Coon, Mac, every day. He was loving, sweet and very smart. He saved my partner's life. He would not stop trying to get me to follow him. When I gave up after about ten minutes, Mac led me to find my partner lying on the floor....he had a stroke and Mac knew he needed to help. Without Mac It may have been another hour before I knew anything was wrong. They are very intelligent.
I had a BEAUTIFUL and very bright Maine Coon. She was the best cat I have ever had because she was everything you could ask for in a cat. We all loved her. She lived to be 23 years old and gave us a lot of joy.
I have a red tabby that's half Maine coon he is 8 months old and he's a nut. Makes the weirdest noises I've heard from a cat. So far he's clumsy but I think it's because he's still growing. He loves stalking our dogs and plays in the water bowls. Best cat ever ❤️ even though he pops out of the shadows to pounce on my legs in the middle of the night
@@deborahbarry8458 mine I swear thinks he's a dog. he has grown up with them and wags his tail when he is happy or when greeting us when we get home. He also loves plastic bags and I have to give him a couple after I put up groceries. If I forget he does this crazy yodel, we call it his war cry, and will go steal my large makeup brush and hide it. Lol he is crazy and I love him to bits.
I have allergies to cats, but my main coon as a kid was goofy as hell. She loved belly scratches, but she also loved to murder you when walking up the stair case. She loved being spun super fast in the computer chairs. I never had any bad allergic reactions to Blue. She loved "Skrrrriirrrawwing" at me and whenever you pull out Jerky.....Sometimes cats love catnip, but this one full on LOVED jerky. I miss her so much.
Such a fantastic piece of content! What absolutely stunning creatures these felines are. I have never had the pleasure for being the human servant for this breed but as an old crazy cat man, I recognize that this is a fantastic breed. Much thanks for this. I wish all the best to you and yours!
My old Maine Coon, is a big lap sitter. He is very polite and looks at you to ask permission. I pat the chair and he jumps up or he puts his paws on the chair and I pick him up and put him on my lap. He then falls asleep.
We're going to have a Maine Coon this Christmas, I can't wait to meet him/her (we don't know the gender yet but either sex, I'm good) Update: I have her and she's so cute and fluffy already 😻 she's 2 months old and I can't wait to spoil her.
U got a cat with 8 weeks ? Thats way too early. Most breeders give their kitties away with 12 to 14 weeks. And i hope u have more than one cat if its an indoor cat. Cats are highly Social animals they need partners and friends. And know we humans arent enough.
@@sophiebell4758 that's not early and she didn't come from breeders, my sister have a friend with many cats already and she gave us Eli (that's what I named her). I don't have other cat but we do have a shih tzu and so far she's doing good with us and our dog is behaving well with her and slowly they're being friends
@@kr2sssss - actually Sophie is correct. Good breeders do not part with kittens until they're at least 3 months old or older. It gives the kitten time to realize she's a kitten and be socialized.
8 weeks is early. Got mine from a certified breeder at 12 weeks. No exceptions. They said it's very bad if the kitten seperates from the mother under 12 weeks.
My Maine coon must be defective because he meows when he wants out, but coos and trills the rest of the time, and he loves laying on my lap, chest, face, legs, pretty much anywhere! You have a beautiful cat!
Reminds me of my Maine Coon, Baby, who died four years ago. I miss her terribly. She chose me as her human and I was so glad she did. A beautiful soul. I would hold her in my arms like a baby, on her back, and rock her to sleep. She purred so loudly too. RIP Baby.
My husband and I have a female Maine Coon named Fhasa and we absolutely love her! She's beautiful and has a very sweet temperament. She's not only the best cat we've ever had but the best pet period. (We've also had dogs) She's never hissed at anyone and the few times where we've had to give her a bath she's never clawed us. Doesn't like to be held for very long because she's so big but loves to be cuddled and is always with me wherever I go in the house. She also lets us pet her belly and she usually starts purring when we do which is not normal for a cat. I love her 😄
Back in 1990 I got a grey and white Maine Coon from a breeder in Carmel, Ca. His Grandfather was a Grand Champion in the State of Ca. We named him CJ for the white C and J on his side of dark gray fur. We had 5 cats and 2 Beagles at the time, but he was mine. The most loving cat of many I have ever had the pleasure of living with. I would lay on my bed reading the newspaper and he would jump up, climb up on my stomach ( he wasn't light !), Stick his nose up under the bottom of the paper and get as high up on my chest as he could. His purr was incredibly loud. As I would pet him, he would reach up and very, ever so gently bite and hold onto my chin purring even louder. He never hurt me even once. He would go for walks with my wife and I but it seemed the corner was as far as he would go. A couple loud meows and he would turn around and head home, tail held high. So big , he could, standing on his hind feet , look directly onto the kitchen counter. Always in the mood for a good belly rub. I greatly miss him.
The first time I watched one of your videos and I thoroughly enjoyed it, your cat is gorgeous and I love the way you allowed the cat to tell the story:-) very well done!
Just exactly like my Main Coon ‘ Fandango’ he also talks with his long tail and is so clean and he chirps and chases and can hear me down the corridors.
They are awesome cats ours is a gentle giant . But they are particular about WHERE they are petted and choose WHEN want to be picked up if at all . Very loyal and can be trained to fetch at least ours does.
Mine will play fetch if you throw a plastic lid in the bathtub. He loves playing in the tub (without water). He takes his toys to the bathtub and chases them around in the tub. It's so cute.
My father when he was younger had a Maine Coon cat that like to jump out the window during the school week. For the Cat knew 2 things the garage door was always open, and and bang bang bang form jumping around on the open door woke up my father. From what I've been told that the cat did not like my father's alarm clock. So it would bounce on the garage door to wake him up first.
My Siberian was almost identical to your Maine Coon, except he loved to sit on laps. And the Siberian's hypoallergenic qualities might be a little better. The one thing I missed though is after neutering he lost his distinctive Siberian tri-tone trill/ chirp, and instead afterwards sounded just like your Maine Coon does here.
My sister had a Tabby Main Coon mix and he was like the cat version of Liam Neeson. He went missing twice and was able to hunt to survive. He would also help keep the rodent population down around my house.
My 3 year old baby, Sebastian (Maine Coon) is a hoot. He's very sweet and smart. He loves to play with water except when it's time for his bath. He puts on a temper tantrum when I kiss my husband goodnight, it's hilarious to watch him argue with "dad" and when he's done, he flops and grabs my foot, hugs it and go to sleep. I love him very much.
My Maine Coon is the sweetest and clingiest cat I've ever seen. You can't sit anywhere (not even the toilet) without him jumping up on your lap for snuggles lol. And if you're in the bath he is too
I have a Mini - Coon; he was the runt of the litter and so he didn't grow very big. He is a furry little ball of love. Our Ragdoll makes him look small.
Lost my old cat in October after 15 years together. Still has her sister but wanted a new friend for her. I found a mixed Maine Coon kitten and it has been the best impulsive shopping I have done:-) They play together so well, she follows me like a dog and catch things if you throw them to her.
Mine was male. Got very dominant at 8 months so I had him fixed. Used to eat rabbits, squirrels and chipmunks. Definitely like sleeping in high places. Definitely did not like sleeping in lap for long. Often followed me around outside. Loudest meow of any cat I ever had. Could hear the sound of my car coming and would run home to meet me. Extremely gentle cat, and that's a good thing because he had really big claws and was very strong. I might get another some day.
I also had an orange MC. He was 23 pounds (ca. 10 kg) and not fat only a little chubby. There was a slanted tree hanging out the side of a small cliff. He could stand on most of it without claws. It overlooked a river and a fair distance(1200 feet (0.37 km)) of railroad tracks. There was a nearby hill with an abandoned building that had around 80-100 mostly wild cats including some other Maine Coons. His name was Max, and he was very protective and territorial of that tree. It was his tree and other cats wanted it too. It was above and overlooking a small field of tall grass and poison sumac. He acted like he was the king, and he was some sort of alpha authority for the best part of a decade. Some cats he seemed to allow would come and hang out near him and a few times he even tried to invite them in the house. I remember one day, out of the blue, a small orange kitten crawled up on him while he was sleeping and curled up and got comfortable. He just stared a sec and then laid his head back down. He was actually born in that area, and he had a wild orange father who had impregnated the neighbors cat. His father was an orange Maine Coon that looked and acted like some kind of king just like him. We joked that we had a miniature Lion King with the way he acted with that tree. A truly Unique and amazing animal he was! Never had another cat like him, and yes he was a Maine Coon.
Our Maine Coon Star fits all of these with the exception of one. She is a lap cat. Will not let you pick her up but the second you sit, she hops right on up and passes out. Best blanket ever she is.
I've had Maine Coons all my life. One I have now is pure black. 2 were pure white. My other 2 are are mackerels. 1 I had lived to be almost 23 yrs old. So far I've had 10 of them. All were wonderful sweet loving, intelligent beauties.
i have a maine coon mix, he’s not quite as big as some but he’s pretty big, he’s also got more rounded ears since he’s a mix but he definitely has the loving “gentle giant” personality that maine coons are known for
Well I can say to everyone out there that he is definitely one of the smartest cats I have ever seen and I love that she has the ability to be the best cat anyone could have. What a great deal in this life. ❤
Lol..my cat loves her tennis ball...she throws it in the air with her teeth then chases it....i hear that ball in the middle of the night...lol..and shes very loving and meows when she wants love...
I have 2 MC. 1 is a male and his name is Simba. He is 2. The other 1 is a female her name is Nala and she is 1 year old. They both are look alike your cat but a long and medium hair. They both are pretty large in size. They are very friendly and they never bit or scratch us. We love when they talk. They are very chatty. They play fetch. I can say so many good and special things about them. They are very good to have in ur life. We all are very happy with our cats. If u don't have a MC yet, adopt 1 then, you'll know.
Mine, Archimedes--Archie for short--falls asleep on my chest regularly, while laying his head on my chin. Or behind me in my office chair. Either way, he LOVES having his tummy petted!
I have one, a “red”, and he is a gentle giant. He also talks very clearly. Currently his vocabulary is up to about 30 words and phrases. Like “I love you”, Mommy, daddy, hello, wowee, no, yes, help me, etc. currently “Fireball” ic almost 11 years old. A main problem is throwing up massive hair balls.

My boyfriend had a MC mix. He was very sweet and super affectionate. Unfortunately he was hit by a car last week and we are both very sad so I like to watch MC videos on you tube to cheer myself up
Our Maine coon is a big hunter, so much so that he caught a muskrat and carried it over a 6’ chain link fence and brought it into the house through the doggy door. He often brings in birds, shrews and voles.
I have a small female kitten MC mix who is only around 2 months she loves belly rubs when she is tired but don’t even try when she is playful. She is still very cute and is the lazy and playful type.

I hv 2 female sisters and they are totally different, i heard females arent as friendly as males which i can tell with my 2..
I took in abandoned kitty I named Sam - I now know he is a main coone - he is lovely! And I am smitten! He is gorgeous!
My MC wont sit on my lap but he will sleep on my head. Weird cat
Mine bites my knee if I'm not quick enough feeding him. Lol
@mark smith I only got him when he was 2 so missed out on the kitten phase thankfully. Lol
True, my MC likes to sleep in my head & bite my hair every morning 😸
Hi allie. I love MC... M from Pakistan. I wnt to get MC. So cn u tel me hoe it can b psible
Too cute.
They're really special cats with good personalities and just an overall good cat experience to have.
Definitely 'Gentle Giants'!
Your last sentence brought tears to my eyes. It also gave me a measure of comfort. Thank you. 💜
@@apokryphos117g Maine Coon Rescue helped me get my last two although neither was technically a rescue and sure there are other places as well.
Our Maine Coon meows a lot and he is like talking with us, not only the "purr" sound 😅
I took me a while to realize the cat is talking
Absolutely gorgeous. The cat is lovely also.
Of course he bites when he's grumpy lol
you are so lucky!😻
Maine Coon's are about as docile and loyal as you can get with a cat. There personality is amazing.
My Maine Coon is one of the most gentle giants I have ever seen. He is careful to lie down on his side to play with smaller cats so they are not afraid of his size.
I have a big orange boy, he's absolutely adorable. He loves exploring outside but always makes time to come home and cuddle or socialize ❤️
Ana D mine too
they better be fixed
This is the accent I assume all cats would have if they could actually speak.
I love your accent! you make english sound way more fluid than it is :)
They really are the gentle giants of the cat world. I had one for many years. I still miss him. He was the sweetest most gentle cat I ever had.
I love Grace's ear tufts and her majestic tail!
My mc is clumsy too ♥️ and so interactive! He loves people and runs to the door if a stranger comes to the door!
Actually own 8 of them, 3 adults, 5 Babys, they are so nice and handsome.
I have a big grey one year old male, beat cat I have ever owned hands down, so friendly and social. We got lucky to find him and rescue 😊
Our mackerel MC speaks a lot saying “Mow-Wow.” Cutest thing ever next to his trilling...
So happy that you are feeding Farmina to your kitty :)
My old Maine Coon, is a big lap sitter. He is very polite and looks at you to ask permission. I pat the chair and he jumps up or he puts his paws on the chair and I pick him up and put him on my lap. He then falls asleep.
Mine too!!😹
Grace, you are such a big beautiful girl- your humans are so lucky to have you!!
Beautiful cat sweetie.
I enjoyed your video very much too.
I wish you rainbows.
I love my Maine Coon, great video & I love your accent 😊
I was thinking the same exact things you just mentioned.
Where are you from? Siberia?
That tail is SO floofy! I want a Maine Coon someday
I miss my little boy so much. Rip Vader. I love cats so much.
We're going to have a Maine Coon this Christmas, I can't wait to meet him/her (we don't know the gender yet but either sex, I'm good)
Update: I have her and she's so cute and fluffy already 😻 she's 2 months old and I can't wait to spoil her.
Pics?
(We've also had dogs)
She's never hissed at anyone and the few times where we've had to give her a bath she's never clawed us.
Beautiful cat! That tail is amazing!😻💞
That feeling when your MC brings a mouse half alive to your bed is the worst...
so lovely!
The first time I watched one of your videos and I thoroughly enjoyed it, your cat is gorgeous and I love the way you allowed the cat to tell the story:-) very well done!
You have a beauty purring a lot. GORGEOUS 🐱🐹
What a sweet video, and what a lovely voice as well!
Just exactly like my Main Coon ‘ Fandango’ he also talks with his long tail and is so clean and he chirps and
chases and can hear me down the corridors.
This video is like mostly the opposite of my cat. In our house, we don’t call her “Spawn of Satan” for nothing! 😂
Great name. I had one named, "Lucifer" once. Great cat but don't rub his tummy else get shredded.
Reminds me of my cat Micky. He’d love to slinky on my shoulder like a baby. Affectionate! Vacuum killer? Maybe 4 vacuums ? But worth it!!
Our girl MC is one yr interacts with 6 yr Selkirk Rex very nice, they both track each other, fantastic to watch
My father when he was younger had a Maine Coon cat that like to jump out the window during the school week. For the Cat knew 2 things the garage door was always open, and and bang bang bang form jumping around on the open door
woke up my father.
Funny you would say that Maine Coons don’t typically meow - ours is really vocal with his voice (meowing and chirping). An odd one out :)
Vicky Kuroneko mines don’t meow only
For food and when she wants to go outside
my two Maine Coons meowing quite a lot. You could say, they are very talkative 😊
Mine meows to
Not really. Maine Coons can be very vocal.
Then shes probably a mix
My sister had a Tabby Main Coon mix and he was like the cat version of Liam Neeson. He went missing twice and was able to hunt to survive. He would also help keep the rodent population down around my house.
Awww!!!! Your cat is very pretty! And such a swear heart! Makes me want to pick her up and hug her as long as she would let me.
Wow 🥺 such a cutie
My Maine Coon is the sweetest and clingiest cat I've ever seen. You can't sit anywhere (not even the toilet) without him jumping up on your lap for snuggles lol. And if you're in the bath he is too
I have a Mini - Coon; he was the runt of the litter and so he didn't grow very big.
He is a furry little ball of love.
Our Ragdoll makes him look small.
I had one that I grew up with she got to be 18, she was the sweetest cat I have ever meet
Gorgeous and adorable cat😻
I have a Maine coin named Charlie. Love love love him. Best ever!!🐱🐱🙏🙏💕💕😁😁
Lost my old cat in October after 15 years together. Still has her sister but wanted a new friend for her. I found a mixed Maine Coon kitten and it has been the best impulsive shopping I have done:-) They play together so well, she follows me like a dog and catch things if you throw them to her.
I had a male that died in 6/2004. He was a brown tabby. A gorgeous cat. I miss him.
What a beautiful cat! I hope she lives many more years, healthy and happy with you and your family.
My MC tries to meow anyway and the sound is so cute. It’s basically is a meow but it’s so gentle and sounds like a desperate attempt.
Also careful with the chicken bones... my cat got supper sick when I left them out
Our Maine Coon Star fits all of these with the exception of one. She is a lap cat. Will not let you pick her up but the second you sit, she hops right on up and passes out. Best blanket ever she is.
Oh, you are so lucky!
I've had Maine Coons all my life. One I have now is pure black. 2 were pure white. My other 2 are are mackerels. 1 I had lived to be almost 23 yrs old. So far I've had 10 of them. All were wonderful sweet loving, intelligent beauties.
I’d definitely risk rubbing the belly 😂. So adorable 😍.
Grace I really like your cat personality it's fantastic
Our Maine Coon is perfectly happy on laps. She doesn't even care that much about whose lap she sleeps on.
I would love a Maine Coon. I have a Siberian/Calico mix. He is also pretty large, and his fur is as soft as cotton. He is the sweetest cat.
i have a maine coon mix, he’s not quite as big as some but he’s pretty big, he’s also got more rounded ears since he’s a mix but he definitely has the loving “gentle giant” personality that maine coons are known for
Well I can say to everyone out there that he is definitely one of the smartest cats I have ever seen and I love that she has the ability to be the best cat anyone could have.
What a great nice video and a beautiful cat. 😊👍👍👍👍
Thank you☺️
Grace is a beautiful Maine Coon Kitty! Thank you for telling us about her!
Look up the benefits of balanced raw feeding. One benefit is fewer hairballs, another is nearly odorless (and very small) poops!
kristy marshall, Thank you, I will.
@@arttafil6792 If you have amazon prime you can watch PET FOOLED for free. Otherwise, the video is available elsewhere for a fee. There's a FB group called Cats Completely Raw and Proud (Cat CRAP) you might find interesting. Lots of people who have been feeding raw for a long time, some just starting. Lots of good information in the files. People from all over the world are in the group. :-)
kristy marshall, yes I do and thank you.
My MC ‘chicken’ always has massive stinky poops...
I had a orange Maine Coon he was like a dog. Loved to chase things play with the dog, but he did love water!
My boyfriend had a MC mix. He was very sweet and super affectionate. Unfortunately he was hit by a car last week and we are both very sad so I like to watch MC videos on you tube to cheer myself up
Grace is adorable! I have adopted a mix, so I am learning about the breed.
