    I have to admit, I find it remarkable to see you wear full top gear - helmet, jacket with reinforcements, gloves, but yet see you in shorts and SLIPPERS!!! Dude, you need your feet too :)

    For anyone who EVER doubts the effectiveness of a helmet: My scooter's REAR mechanical brake MALFUNCTIONED during a rain. I went straight INTO A CURB. My face LANDED FLAT on the sidewalk the first thing about 5 MPH - as Bryan mentioned. The helmet SAVED my face AND my skull. NO QUESTIONS. You couldn't make a more convincing argument out of me!

    Today I got the T112 5600W scooter delivered after MONTHS waiting. Box looks like it was thrown off a cliff, all beat up, holes in it, and the head lights were bent. But the big problem is, the back wheel motor doesn't work. When you pull the trigger the rear wheel starts for 1 second very slowly and then stops as the power cuts off. At the same time I hear a loud grinding noise from the battery compartment (could be controller area, not sure) which continues as long as I hold down the throttle trigger even after the wheel stops getting power. At other times wheel doesn't move at all and there's no power to it whatsoever. The front wheel works fine though when in dual mode. In the throttle LCD screen a little letter "M" in a box appears at the top of the screen as well, which according to the manual means "motor fault." Any ideas???????? I'm pissed.

    • @adfunkedesign
      @adfunkedesign 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      M stands for MOTOR open it up and check all the connections. Specifically check the wires to the rear motor. If it looks good swap all the wires with the front motor. If you have same problem it's the controller. If the Problem continues bon the same motor it's the motor. Possible it's a hall sensor wire depends on ur motor.

    • @JoshStreetDesign
      @JoshStreetDesign 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I opened it up right after I made this post and realized the blue wire to the back motor was out of one of the connector plugs and now she runs like a champ. quick question does any of you guys know if I can run a 165 mm shock on this thing?

    • @adfunkedesign

      @@JoshStreetDesign it's a 125mm shock I have seen some people modify and install the 125mm A5 air shock.. but you will need to modify the shock mountings I haven't seen an easy swap kit.

    Hey bro, you was right when you said were gonna crash sooner or later. I crashed last week friday and I'm still in pain and recovering. scooter fishtailed and I had a hard fall. All I had was my full faced helmet and high quality gloves. No elbow, knee or body guards/amor. Order that on friday.

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Upper body protection is a must. Also don't distract yourself with headphones or phone mounted on scooter. Stay vigilant of road quality and other drivers. Take turns with care - one little wrong shaped bump and the tail will slide out! Road markers. Mud. Gravel. Fallen frut from trees. Trash. All will make for a bad day.

    • @ProfoundWisdomTV
      @ProfoundWisdomTV 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@lastmilestore3457 My main injuries was bruised ribs, chest and lower back pain and BBQ elbows. I have all the protective gear now and will never ride without it. A serious crash have a way of waking people up to how serious and important it is to wear protective gear. I crashed 300 yards from my house while on my way to work. went over a basketball court and didn't realize it was extreme slippery even when slightly damp due to over night rain. There was no way out of that hard crash. Would've never thought in a million years that I would crash so close to home and on a basketball court. Too everyone out there, follow Last Miles Store advice. Protect your health and body. Taking hard falls does a lot of damage on the body. Some of it we will heal and overcome, but sometimes you may have serious life threatening injuries.

    Good to see you wearing the safety gear, many people don't understand how important gloves are, it is an absolutely automatic reaction that when you are falling you put your hand out, you don't think about it, its automatic, thus the hand often suffers extremely bad road rash, good protective full finger gloves really do protect the hands from injury.

Sometime headlight will come on then flicker or go off totally sometimes when you get bad connection in the wires. Look for wires that are Red and Black and trace them around. They might be glued. Hold the black plug and wiggle the wire. The one with bad connection feels different

    Hi Bryan, thanks for posting the video. Could you elaborate a little on the instability question and talk through the real world accidents you have experienced? Is the issue mainly caused by small front wheel vs. potholes and surface imperfections. Or is it a basic instability in the steering mechanism?

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Instability has to do with the "rake" of the front wheel. On bikes and motorcycles the front wheel has an angle forward that is called RAKE and gives the stability when you take ur hands off the handlebars. Scooters don't have much Rake mainly due to neck design. You really don't have many options when it comes to scooter neck design. If you get all fancy you're probably not going to be balanced. From what I can tell the scooter neck basically hasn't changed in a hundred years/ people are trying to innovate now but that doesn't make them better... My next video is going to be about single-sided hub dual motor scooters and how they are dangerous.

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I got knocked out because I was riding my scooter buy a bicycle rack and a brake handle caught my sweater cuff and locked my wrist to the scooter and grabbed it so I went flying straight to the ground and knock myself out even with the helmet on.

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I generally get caught off at least twice a day maybe three times if I'm passing bad traffic. Drivers just don't pay attention at all. Their custom to motorcycles making a lot of noise this doesn't do that. you got to be ready for them that's the only way you're going to avoid rear-ending somebody.

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The wheels and the pothole situation is a thing it's a thing for scooters with no suspension because this has actual spring type suspension you can hit a bump pretty hard or a deep pothole and make it out. IF you're going 20+ with no suspension you're going to crash really hard on a big pothole that is the size of your wheel. As you can tell the dockless scooters have a liability issue caused by this amongst others..

    When you're traveling at 40mph on open air with nothing in front of you to block airborne pebbles, you're asking for injuries. So it's always a good idea to wear full protective gear. Car have front windshield to protect your face. There are several dents and cracks on my car's front windshield, if it wasn't there, I would've sustain some form of injury to my face or even my eye.

      Sensitive breaks are good. The break pads will wear down fairly quick. If you ride daily break pads last about 4months. Try to use only the rear breaks primarily so you don't flip over - also will put less stress on the front suspension. Only use front break in emergency situations. Sensitive is good I think but you can try turn some of the screws on the break handle see if that helps

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it's a second battery wired up "in parallel" it's nice to have that extra capacity but many issues with this. You must completely disconnect them to charge them. Then you need to charge them up to the same voltage to connect them back together. Connecting and disconnecting can cause volt surge or spark and that can damage the controllers. So useful when you need it but not something to us on a daily.

I just pressed the start and light turned on together with speedometer, that never happen before, now I cant turn them off without turning off the main power! So , only problems with these cheap Chinese scooters!

      Hey Pawel ya email me directly adfunkedesign@gmail.com I will send you some P-setting guides I have... the lights not something normal / you might open it up is a good idea. sometimes if you have a bad connection on the motor power lines you get HEAT. The heat melts the hot glue used in the connectors and you get wierd stuff like that. If you see melted anything. Cut and resolder the 3 phase lines. All of them.

    hi , i like ur scooter, recently i buy wide wheels scooter, i want to add extra battery pack .
    so i need to know , if i make a parallel connection with another kind of 48v lipo battery , do both of my battery burn or speed control burn ? plz give me a proper guid line ....
    how can i find this battery bags, and battery pack ???
    thank you

    • @lastmilestore3457
      @lastmilestore3457 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya don't do that. You can use a parallel connected batteries but it will zap the controller because your unplugging and plugging back in each time you want to charge you have to separate them and charge separately. The controllers are sensitive to zapping.. Best option is to build or get a larger capacity battery pack or swap out when needed. I Don't know what the wide wheel uses battery pack but do NOT use lipo it is short lasting high power. use 18650 batteries if possible they last a-lot longer...

I got it online auction for a steal about 75$ it retails for over 500$ best way to get cheep gear is go to a motorcycle shop and try on the jackets and get ur size. Then go online lots of used motorcycle gear. Definitely suggest getting one with the bump on your back - I went down on this thing once on a corner rolled to my back hitting the ground and it bounced to me back up to my feet. ALIEXPRESS has a large selection of different bag shapes and sizes. You will need at least 2 kiddie bars for mounting on a scooter neck. / Yes technically it has a USB out on the back of the throttle. But it pulls power from the throttle so you can't see the display when you are plugged in. Don't mount phone on the scooter its a distraction and will break when you go down...

      @@adfunkedesign I think it varies on the design as not all scooters have the same type of fender... some may be sturdy and stable whereas others break easily. And the off road tires have better treads so it should grip better in the rain than the road tires.

    • @adfunkedesign
      @adfunkedesign 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you are correct on both points. Try and inspect after or before each ride. Also don't listen to music all the time... Usually the scooter will tell you if you have a problem - sometimes it will be a sound other times a "feels-wierd" I have seen a bunch of steering dampener videos and yea if you can get it setup right it will help at high speed.
      BUT - will limit other moves you might need to do like super evasive maneuvers.... (personally I ride in the street and need to be ready for right turning vehicles at all times so not trying to limit myself)

I have been using exactly the same scooter as yours, the one with one front light! 26Ah 1200Wx2 I have also problem with mud protector, first one broke after 3 weeks, the second one is now in the process of breaking itself, but I still haven't addressed the issue. I have some ideas how to fix it anyway! I'm using it mostly for commuting to work, also taking it to the subway, no problem whatsoever. Also my rear breaks stop working, I checked the breaks linings and they both looks ok. I tried to adjust a screw in the break handle but it did not help. So maybe there is not enough liquid in the system? Overall the scooter is great, but, it is not such perfect as original dualtron, also, there are better designed ones if you check Chinese websites.
