No brush for curly hair EVER! I use a wide-toothed comb to evenly distribute conditioner. My curly hairdresser of over 25 years taught me that. But I do enjoy your videos, you have great info to share 😊.
Yeah I was taught that, too! But the Denman brush is made for curly hair, totally okay to use. Especially since you're brushing your hair while it's wet. But I'm glad a wide-toothed comb is working well for you!
Hi everyone! Thanks for watching my natural detangling spray recipe tutorial. I'm leaving the TIME STAMPS for you, for those you want a more custom experience with my videos. Enjoy! 0:15 - All about my book, Detox Your Home 0:37 - Learning about the ingredients in the spray 2:38 - Detangling spray tutorial 5:24 - Closing, thank you, and other suggested videos from my channel I think you might like
You can also add some of your favorite gel in the mix instead of the aloe and glycerine, less things to purchase and less bottles to have to toss later.
Is that really true? I should be brushing my (curly) hair when its wet??!!! Everyone says brush only when dry and thats what ive been doing. Im confused now!!!!
Two questions: 1) I saw the conditioner in lumps as you poured it. Will the conditioner come through the sprayer or will it clump at the bottom? 2) When you talk below about adding gel do you mean hair gel or another kind of gel? Thanks!
I would say it can only be used for dogs if you use a dog conditioner (store bought or natural recipe) with essential oils that are safe for dogs. I suggest looking up which are safe and which are toxic. If you're a cat owner, unfortunately for cats, all essential oils are toxic to them, so just use a cat conditioner or search for a natural recipe online.

What is a shelf life of the homemade de-tangling spray? When is it time to make a new one? How is it stored (in the fridge or not)? Thanks!

Yes! I use a gel after leave in conditioner in my own hair and it works great!

Hi! Yeah if you shake it up really well it shouldn’t clump, but it might be a good idea to mix it with an immersion blender or a hand mixer.
can i use warm rice water instead of water
Looks like you started with about 200 ml of water before adding the conditioner. Is that correct? Thanks.
Yes that sounds about right!
Could this be used on dogs?
@@kathimerritt8458 I hope so, that's all I need it for. My Scottie has really thick hair and I need something to detangle it before grooming.
