    I am glad to see a young man show interest in these types of memorabilia. I have been collecting for a long time and when I discovered this place in Brooklyn I thought I found a lost treasure trove. You are correct in saying that one or multiple visits will never make a dent in this place but it is fun to dig around and see what turns up. I enjoyed your video and you have good taste.

      I appreciate it, and for sure- it’s a lot of digging to be had!

    Great haul! Nothing makes alarm bells go off in my head more than when a dealer says that a certain book is "rare." Supposedly a $45 mag but he gave it to you for, what, $2.50? LOL

    Nice haul! We visited NY from UK a few years ago, and I was lucky enough to visit the Koch warehouse. I was hanging out with a guy who used to work for Joe, so we knew when it was open to visit. Such a great place. I'm a fan of that Night of the Living Dead- London, it's a crazy story. Also it is two issues, so happy hunting!

      Wow, that’s a trek from the UK!
      Definitely a cool spot, and I just found that second issue too (strange perfect timing), now I can finally read it lol

    Hey Conner. Those Creepy Worlds are UK reprints I think those copies you have are 70s.I think House of Hammers are also UK ran for 18 issues then changed to House if Horror for 19 then became Hammer Halls of Horror from 20 to 23 then just Halls of Horror up to last issue 30. They have some stunning early art work from the likes of Brian Bolland. Hello from Scotland

      I’m definitely going to try and finish out that HOH run. I didn’t notice the Bolland Art yet, that’s awesome

    I can see you have a great love for comics by your purchases and that’s what collecting is all about. That is some warehouse btw! There tons of comics out there so be be patient and don’t overspend.

      I agree with the patient part for sure! You’ll see it again, especially being in Jersey. It’s the comic mecha of the world. The books are out there!

    Very nice haul! Glad more folks are posting about the Koch warehouse! You are absolutely correct that no one can go through all those boxes, toys, records and other miscellaneous things in a day not even a week. Joe doesn’t do wall books as sometimes things get stolen. And he prefers the old school way of digging through boxes. It’s like a treasure hunt when you are there and he gets collection in a lot. I’ve been going there since the late 90’s and I always find something new, amazing and interesting! The place has been there for so long that they need help to really inventory the stuff. Peter ( the gentleman that you will seated ) has a lot of knowledge on some of the things but will have to check with Joe on the pricing. I love the place despite the distance (coming from New Jersey) and I love the folks that work there. Fantastic haul again and nice that you made it out there! Love your videos and your collection! Looking forward to seeing more! Take care

      Appreciate it! And they definitely have a great shop there. Also coming from jersey the trek is worth it, they’ve got a TON of stuff. I get the wall books thing tho, in their area they probably have a bit of a theft problem, although it would be a long run out the door if someone stole something lol

      @@ConnersComicsHi. Yes the trek is definitely worth it! I usually go once a month and back then I went twice a month. As far as theft it doesn’t matter about the distance as they’ve had a couple of thefts. Not because of the neighborhood but from people buying during their sales. Unfortunate but it happens. Take care

    Yo! I fukn LOVED that warehouse, dawg, I had to call like couple weeks ahead of time man, to make sure he was going to be open that weekend lol! Oh h3ll yeah thaz awesome you made it there. Im in the Denver area at the moment past three years, Mile High was amazing at first, but I stopped hitn up the place after the service was awful. Vision Comics & Oddities would be a worthwhile visit for Denver area FYI. -can hardly see the comics tho, lol! cool room, but work that comic closer is my only request, but zall gud, as I know my own vids are hella long and I rant so it is what it is lol!

    • @ConnersComics
      @ConnersComics  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I appreciate the feedback, I’ll play with moving the books closer, and yeah comics visions and oddities is always my main stop when I’m out in Colorado
      I love Chuck, nothing but respect for him. But my best deals are usually at visions or a few other shops out there like 5280 comics
      And that warehouse was great- if I ever go back I agree calling ahead is the move
