Press "B" to place Markers. The visual for it scales based on Zoom. So while your Bridge numbers are Big close up, they shrink when zoomed out. Markers will shrink as you zoom in. They also notate THE tile you Marked. I use Markers for my individualized number factories, placed on the Output Line as they are released
Also, other shorcut keys; "U" for Upgrade window, "H" to snap back to Hub, "G" to see Hub Input (called Delivered Items). "X" will bring up the Demolish action, "R" (and "Shift+R") will rotate/counter-rotate, also "C" will Clear the highlighted area of numbers. Standard Copy/Cut/Paste shortcuts work for this game. And finally, the Machines (Adder, Multiplier, etc.) can be quick selected with the "1-9" keys. I essentially gave the entire Controls page, but can check that window within Settings Menu.
