- Lords and ladies! Thanks to a very knowledgeable member Mr. Frog Jog, the band who made this beautiful music has been found! The band is called "D-Rok" and made music for GW many years ago. Here is the entire playlist that I dug up from 9 years ago, but still good quality. Enjoy! • D-Rok - Get out of my way

"get out of my way" i knew it was them
How is this nearly ten years old wtf
Now this I can rock with. I'm just now being introduced to the warhammer universe with Boltgun. I can't believe it's taken 22 years
NO FUCKING WAY ITs D-ROK ?!?!?
D-Rok = Deep Rock
When I booted it up for the first time and this track started playing, I knew that this game was blessed by the God Emperor Himself
if you like this song, the soundtrack is from D-roks warhammer album
@@tuff9486 That explains why the music sounds like it's from the early 90s, because it IS from the early 90s, 1991 if I'm not mistaken.
Same. I wasn't on my phone when the song started and instantly went "wtf?". Such a banger.
Couldn’t believe my ears. This shit BANGS
Fun fact: if you go afk for a little while, he will pull up a book and start reading from it.
Codex Astartes I assume
The Codex Astartes does in fact support this action
@@mikelator96idk why but that is the best codex astartes joke I've ever seen 😂
you can see the book he reads when the player goes AFK on his waist
Press T to taunt the heretics!
Never had such a good time just sitting in the menu screen
I know right? I didn't play the game for the first 30 minutes. Just sat and listened amazed at what I was hearing.
Experiencing it for the first time right now, and it is blowing my fucking mind
Can I just say that the addition of the corvus pattern helmet is aesthetic, god I love me some beakie boys.
Papa Corax approves
This is an extremely "classic warhammer" thing to do by the creators and I adore it
the creators of this game truly know warhammer, im glad they didn't went for a generic space marine/primaris design
Yeah they really went for the ultra-oldschool look
If only they weren't as forced as they are in the horus heresy
Wow... down to earth good old fashioned metal in a recent release. What an anomaly.
Old fashioned? Literally old you mean
Nine years may be ancient by internet standards, but not music standards. Even nine years ago, they were inspired by classic heavy metal from 80’s-90’s
@@crimson_nord2028 D-Rok is from 3 decades ago, in the 90s.
@@LordVader1094 sorry, i didnt know. i cant find them anywhere but YT
This old school metal is called heavy metal its not a subgenre
Caedo out there singlehandedly redeeming the ultra smurfs in the eyes of the fans
HE will finish the work captain Titus started
Space Marines the game also did quite a bit... then that fuck Leandros dashed it all to ashes and piss.
For those that maybe are interested: the original song is from the Oldhammer Metal-band: D-Rok - This is like an outro from ''Turn this ship around''
Yes I thought it sounded like D-rok. Wait so is that Brian May from queen on guitar?
@@NoBSSurvival Yes, he plays guitar on the tracks Get Out of My Way and Red Planet Blues
This was the 40k game I wanted. Just a space marine being a space marine.
A Lore accurate one 👍
I honestly don’t understand why GW won’t make more fps 40k games, this is like the PERFERCT franchise to have games just like this
@@charlesishere Honestly, or just fun shooters in general. Glad they're starting to go that direction.
@@captaintitusultramarine yeah same, can’t wait for Space Marine 2
When do I get Eldar being an Eldar ?! 😡
im just imagining a space marine putting on comically large sunglasses over his helm before he steps out of the drop ship now lol.
starcraft 1 grade theme song, cant get enough really, stared at the title screen and i immediately knew this game was awesome, not disappointed 11/10 the emperor protects...and play boltgun
If you take the first letter of each paragraph of the Codex Astartes and transcribe them to notes you get this song
D-Rok: Turn This ship arround.
So many miles, so many years
My memories are over used
Growing old they're so confused
I seem to remember a man in a bar
With a choice in his hands like an angry scars
Saying to me "Well you can
Leave this life on the point of my sword
Or take the king's shilling boy
Welcome aboard"
When I first started this game up and heard this I just sat there listening to this amazing track.
I have never yet found music that really matches the theme of the 40K Imperium for me. It's weird, like I know what the sound is that I'm looking for, even though I've never actually heard it. It's like a booming, dramatic combination of gospel music with gregorian chants, and industrial metal, definitely involving a pipe organ somewhere. It's such a weird unique thing that if I want to hear it, I'd probably have to make it myself.
Try to listen to "Why do i still live?", maybe you'll get some inspiration in creating your own theme of the 40K Imperium😁
As a classic Ultrasmurf, Malum Caedo read the big space book of war, and it said heretics deserve to die. Naturally, who was he to argue?
(monotone) All hail the Ultrasmurfs.
This sounds more like something you'd hear in Starcraft than in 40K.
Right?? The first 10 seconds I listened to this really has that Terran vibe and I just love it. If only StarCraft had a third person shooter spin-off... one can only dream.
In reality this is a song from the british hard-rock band called D-Rok, they were signed with Games Workshop in the 90s to record an album and it had to feature Warhammer art in it. Brian May from Queen had a hand in making them popular as well. Some other bands had to do the same, like Wraith, Rich Rags, Saxon and Bolt Thrower. Bolt Thrower and Saxon are the only successful ones.
Finished this game a few days ago.
Already started it again on exterminatus.
It's way easier than i expected tbh.
Ever since I've seen Bricky's stream and heard that music I've just had to find it.
i have put hours into this song because I use it as background tunes while researching car parts and prowling muscle car forums for my 92 Firebird. It just ....fits.... when sitting in a dim room at night in the basement looking at dragster parts online
Thank you so much for posting this. As soon as I heard the menu track I tried to look for a video for it but didn't find one until now. This game kicks serious ass!
God I wish the whammy bar bits that start at 0:07 could last forever
It’s like heaven for the ears
@@LonesomeKrow Quite literally, fell in love with that sound since Steve Vai did the Halo theme for Halo 2
why is osts sometimes so hard to find, thank for just the normal version bruh
The Adeptus formerly known as Astartes
Criminally underrated comment
"...and his music was electric."
Is it just me or does this soundtrack have an 80's rock / metal vibe to it?
No, it's not just you
This sounds like it could be straight from one of Black Sabbaths Dio albums
@@kenobiwanobi889 is that a JoJo reference..?
@@Funnyspaceskeleton YOU THOUGHT I WAS A FAMOUS HEAVY METAL VOCALIST, BUT IT WAS ME, DIO, ALL ALONG
...no, I was talking about Ronnie J. Dio, who was Black Sabbaths singer for a few years after they had kicked out Ozzy Osbourne due to his alcohol- and drug-related problems.
Well duh
Considering it's supposed to be D-Rok which was a band GW signed back in the 80's (There was a LOT of coke going around). No, it's not just you.
Sounds a lot like Steve Vai. I love it.
The Ultramarine so angry, the Flesh Tearers take notes.
Don't mind me, just gonna save the playlist.
Thanks for posting this. Was looking for it earlier and your the first that actually posted it.
My guy 😎🤟🏻
You launch the game, expecting gothic/orchestral music, but instead, you get the red hot steel of electric guitar.
Virgin zoomer Primaris marines vs Überchad boomer firstborn Malum Caedo.
Gotta love that the name of the guy is just Malum Caedo, AKA 'I Kill Evil' in pig latin
It kinda makes me think of the menu music for Starcraft 1
Yo, is that D-ROK?!?!?!
The fact this isn’t on Spotify is making me tweak
"Quick death is mercy for you" "for ultramar"
vibe with me, honorable battle brothers
Purge the heretics.
You must drive out the evil from among you
''My name is Malum Caedo''
"I will finish the work Captain Titus started."
@@BanishedSilentShadow3318 Warhammer 40 Space Marine reference since Titus was in that game
Why this track better than "in-game" tracks?
A vibe
This song makes makes me want to purge the heretics with my helmet on
Warhammer and heavy metal, as it was meant to be.
I only purge during the days that end in -ay
ah yeah
:D with that music i gonna finish what captain Titus started!
Wait, is this just D-Rok?
Dat DLC announcement doe
nEED MORE!
good. now we just need a 40k game with bolt thrower
I need this in Spotify
This game was so fun, not a revolutionary fps in any way but boy did I have a BLAST playing it
Please be in space marine 2
No way a loyalist noise marine
Shit was better back during the unification with me and the thunder Bois...
This must be what the sound Marines of slannesh play in battle.
Noise Marines?
Could you 10 minute versions of these?
Final Liberation vibes
does someone knows the music from the credits? and if someone have the musics that play while we're purging?
I'll see about getting it put up
@@401cam8 i would love that brother
at least 1000 of these views are me, this song bangs
*Pink (Horror) Floyd*
this is a good game just good no bullshit. Anyone know what the track is that plays when you find the bolter the first time?
Can you upload the credits music please?
holy shit, real heavy metal and none of that wannabe mick gordon shit
I really want to learn this on guitar but I don't have perfect pitch also I can't find any tabs of it.
the best fps of all time and I've been playing since quake 1, something finally beat it.
This reminds me oddly of sturgill Simpson without the lyrics
i added this to my warhammer and starcraft music! Is Glenn Stafford (mc for starcraft) involved at all?
i think not. It's from a band called D-rok
Is this D-rok?
Entirely
What subgenre of metal is this?
A GOOD DAY TO PURGE
-Joseph Stalin-
When it comes to Boltgun, I would just turn off the in game music and blast BFG Division instead.
This track is awesome and slaps hard, as is the credits track, but the ingame is a little meh... so yeah I agree.
Meh, Classic Doom soundtrack goes with Boltgun infinitely better
the menu music is great, but the ost in game just fucking SUCKS
the original dooms SUCK btw
They can call it whatever they want, this is Turn This Ship Around
