Pretty much. Barring OP hax, the only way to deal with it would be long-ranged genjutsu. Close-quarters would be suicide. Mid-ranged would still be extremely risky, since as that samurai leader demonstrated, striking quick enough to prevent a ninja weaving hand signs essentially nullifies ninjutsu, and a Hyuga can shut off chakra channels entirely...

Not really. Against other Gentle Fist users, it is a huge weakness with how Wing Chun works. And with how the Gentle Fist works, it doesn't really add anything that they can't already do.
Fun fact: Hyuga Clan martial arts is inspired by soft Chinese Martial Art called Baguazhang. It has circle walking movements and trigram palm techniques. This art was used also by Jet Li in the movie "The One" and Avatar Aang in the The Last Airbender.

i can very much indeed state this is the most accurate wing chun animation i have ever seen, his posture and hand movement has flow, and executing the pak sau, tan sau, front kick, bong sau, and trapping perfectly.
Yeah it made no sense unlike jiraiya death. Naruto and hinata was crying for few minutes than its back to normal doesn't effected at all as Naruto went to battle Tobi/madara. Even Sakura or sasuke saving Naruto from attack would be more impactful as it would effect Naruto badly

There are characters in alot of stories that die that affect the reader with the main character knowing nothing about them or not caring. This one was a blow to the Konoha 11 as a whole, they all grew up together and I'd like to think it definitely was a factor.

The war was continued and Naruto hinata was battling like nothing major happen like a side character death whom they know little about. While jiraiya death made sense as he went to take down pain himself got one of best fight in series jiraiya vs 6 path of pain. It impacted Naruto deeply and other major characters of konoha. It was main part of entire pain invasion arc

I really love this masterpiece, i can’t get enough of the combats in naruto and more if they are hand-to-hand combats cause it shows the ability and strength. Neji is an awesome character and also a great ninja, he has a lot of potencial or had, cause you know, (he let this world behind). Neji in this escene seems like a good i love it.
The symbolism in this is crazy......... Neji training against the dummy shows he is a hardworking genius and the bird in a cage representing himself. Then him fighting the shadows probably means his byakugan power or fighting his demons and him fighting with himself could also represent his inner turmoil and the one inch punch plus the bird flying out later signifies him being free be it from the seal literally or him breaking out of his bonds and growing. This is the treatment Neji deserved...........
I think of all characters from Naruto series Neji seems to be best fit for wing chun fighting style. Whole animation is great especially final blow being one inch punch... marvelous.
I just love when defeating the enemy also has a secondary effect on the environment. Even something small like busting through a wall or falling into a lake lets us know we're not just fighting in a box.

The Gentle Fist Style always had a "Wing Chun" feel to it. Alas, this is yet another testament to Kishimoto snubbing the Hyuuga Clan of their potential.
Man, The only battle I really wanted to see was Sasuke vs Neji! The one thing we all wanted to see a battle of the eyes! This was a beautiful animation! Very exquisite!
Depends on what your using it for wing Chun is better for closed quarters and dueling Bagua-Zhang is better for wider spaces and brawling wing Chun is better for striking bagua is better for grappling I've practiced both and notice Bagua-Zhang uses more of a grappling method compared to wing chunks striking method and the limits of the style is the footwork it's better to practice more than one Chinese martial art
I love this.. He's clearly visualizing rather than actually fighting spirits or manifestations. We see his "opponents" ss to show us what's happening. In martial arts, visualizing is part of shadowboxing.
Watching Neji like this remind me with old Chinese Kung Fu Movie. His technic is like Wing Chun, his style is like Lei Wulong(game Tekken), also like Jackie Chan and Master Wong Fei Hung.

Before I saw this, I had a head cannon theory that Naruto received taijutsu training from the Hyugas after marrying Hinata since he fought so differently against Momoshiki than his other taijutsu battles (something closer to karate) and this video makes he believe this theory as correct
just today i was thinking about how dirty they did neji in part 2, because i remembered how nine tails chakra naruto bodied haku and even kakashi and zabuza were like this power is way stronger than either of us, but then neji was casually fighting nine tails chakra naruto like it was nothing, until naruto pulled that "i dug an entire tunnel underneath my clone with my bare hands in a minute and made it lead exactly under where you'd be standing" bs.

Depends on what your using it for wing Chun is better for closed quarters and dueling Bagua-Zhang is better for wider spaces and brawling wing Chun is better for striking bagua is better for grappling I've practiced both and notice Bagua-Zhang uses more of a grappling method compared to wing chunks striking method and the limits of the style is the footwork it's better to practice more than one Chinese martial art
@@ianbrooks3597 I practiced several, chuojiao, baguazhang, and mizongquan. I dedicated the most amount of time to bagua though.

Watching Neji like this remind me with old Chinese Kung Fu Movie. His technic is like Wing Chun, his style is like Lei Wulong(game Tekken), also like Jackie Chan and Master Wong Fei Hung.

Before I saw this, I had a head cannon theory that Naruto received taijutsu training from the Hyugas after marrying Hinata since he fought so differently against Momoshiki than his other taijutsu battles (something closer to karate) and this video makes he believe this theory as correct
just today i was thinking about how dirty they did neji in part 2, because i remembered how nine tails chakra naruto bodied haku and even kakashi and zabuza were like this power is way stronger than either of us, but then neji was casually fighting nine tails chakra naruto like it was nothing, until naruto pulled that "i dug an entire tunnel underneath my clone with my bare hands in a minute and made it lead exactly under where you'd be standing" bs.
