IMO every foxbody needs 17" wheels, 15" just don't look right on them! The LMR 17" 10 holes are amazing.

How to tell if a wheel/tire combo fits: Put the car on jack stands; pull out the springs, then reassemble; bolt the wheel/tire on; jack the rear end up to the bump stops. If the tire rubs anywhere, it doesn't fit. Same with the front except turn the steering wheel full lock in both directions.

Old video but informative. I'm a bit confused though. You mention 17x10 rear but your video description states 17x9. Which is it? Also, what seller/brand are the wheels, where did you buy them? Thanks in advance.

Good tips on the wheels and fitment. The 17" x 9" Cobra R wheels (American Muscle) shod with Nitto 555 in 245/45 17 on my 1989 Spot LX rub on the lower inside area of the front fenders, only when making sharp turns into a driveway. When the time comes for new shoes I'll go to 245/40 17 and hopefully that tire to fender won't be a problem any more.
