HOW TO USE JUDICIAL NOTICE TO HELP WIN YOUR LEGAL CASE
In this episode of Litigation Whiteboard®, Attorney Steve® discusses how to prove facts in federal court with a Request for Judicial Notice under FRE 201 (federal rules of evidence).
Certain things that are not subject to reasonable proof should not have to be proven in court. This takes time and wastes resources. Thanks for this video. In a civil action, and as part of a motion for summary judgment, is this a good place to request judicial notice be taken or does the judge's ruling obviate said request? Last question...can a request for judicial notice be taken as a means of preserving all the pleadings by all parties in the action for use in a new yet related action which may be brought?

Hello. May I ask whether its a Pleading form or Declaration when a plaintiff must alert the judge of an urgent issue effecting the current standing of the civil lawsuit? I know its last resort ...My father hired an Attorney about 2 years ago, and spent $20k...For 2 subpoenas and to petition a stolen Trust..
At this stage these things haven't been done. Once my father asked her where they are, she didnt answer. We then read it said there was no evidence. My father had a nervous breakdown and showed in Court.
The judge asked why.
Following that he was sent a file with a note to sign her release. My father again asked her how and why she would do this.
We need to use a form to alert the Judge as the attorney isnt answering, and we cannot get help because he isnt pro se.
Ive made over 50 calls relentlessly to find help..Im on the verge of breaking down.
I dont know what to do to help.
I was told by the court to use a pleading form..But the clerk said use a Declaration..
We are having trouble filling it out properly. Please. We need help.
can you make the statement in the judicial notice that would require the judge and court to take notice of all acts and statutes that provide for restitution, relief and exoneration without having to cite the actual text or statute? as they are already in the public realm and there is a reasonable expectation for justice, fairness and relief?

What are the steps I need to take if I got a ticket for not a complete stop ...when I did stop ? I don't want to pay them anything.
Hey Steve can you file a RJN if the case is under submission? I have a new piece of evidence I was waiting to get my hands on for my case that I got after the trial, I asked for a continuance but the judge denied it, but now I have it and want to introduce the evidence before the judge makes a decision is that possible or do I have to wait until the judge makes a ruling?

I had two difference cases for Injunction, (2014 and 2015) both were dismissed and closed. Fast forward to now 2022, as the Petitioner in one and the Respondent in the other, I wanted both cases to be sealed/confidential and not viewable to the public via county clerk websites. Every attorney said they cant help since I already used my 1 SEAL/EXPUNDGE in another case. So I went to county self-help desk to FILE A NOTICE OF CONFEDENTIAL FOR ANYTHING UNDER THE LIST OF 23, IF NOT FILE A NOTICE OF MOTION FOR JUDICIAL NOTICE OR MOTION TO DETERMINE CONFIDENTIAL OF COURT RECORDS and wait for the judge to decide. If that fails I was told to File a Confidential Address to see if the courts would get that covered (does that sound right or make since?).. HELP WITH ANY ADVICE.
My opponent contradicted himself in his pleadings. I have the facts; can I file a RJN?

Helpful, but more real life examples of judicial notices would be great. Can personal cheque be in judicial notice?
A state turning a Right into a privilege with a fee should be a reasonable use of a RJN.

is it proper for a hearing to be requested solely for RJN?
