I've got a Yakima Uploader bike rack that fits my roof rack on my CRV roof for my 29" Mountain Bike. Held up well over 4000 mile camping trip to AZ and back to KY. Had to lock front suspension on bike. Not made for electric bikes. Good product.
This type of road block is very common in NM. They will close a road down to one lane. A lead vehicle will then convoy one side of a group of vehicles one direction while the other direction waits and then vice versa. You wait time can be anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes. Depending on the length of the road segment and the number of vehicles. It can be very annoying when you have several of these road blacks every few miles.
One thing I see often on road repairs like this is a buncha guys, and nowadays gals, most of them standing around looking or starring down into a hole in the ground at one guy doing all the work!!! Construction vehicles all idle and not much of anything going on!!!! Geeesh!!!

Years back ! I was camping on morrow mountain NC ! It got to 103° for three days ! It was unbearable! 😬
