- Join us in Abby Normal Garage's first video as we build the Trail Horse from an old wheel horse 314. Detailed are all the added features, such as the cargo rack, front and rear bumpers, and the power steering.
Very Talented and a Master Mechanic , I enjoyed your Build Thank You for Sharing
Thank you for watching!
Awesome…. I wish my 1979 WH was like that !!
With enough work! My dad has a 1979 C101 they are Definitely solid machines.
That was definitely the most impressive build there this year.
Thanks, glad you made it to the show.
Very very nice
Thanks a lot
Awesome build! I saw it cruising around the “Big Show!!! Nice job!!!
Thanks! Glad you made it to the show.
I’ve just got to say that thing is absolutely beautiful, great job!
Thank you the downside to making it pretty is you don’t want to get it dirty. I’ve ran some logging trails but that’s about it. I feel like I need to built one to bash.
@@AbbyNormalGarage I hear that, I don’t have anything even near that nice and still wouldn’t drive them through really deep mud or water, like some people do.
Awespme build and video! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching. I've watched your video's for a while now!
@@AbbyNormalGarage thanks for the support!
Nice creative build - nice concept and execution - old WH units are timeless… y’all s/b crafting/selling design plans so as to make some moola off of your intellectual property and hard work
That they are. I like this body style the best they had the best head lights. I’d like a black hood as well.
Very nice build
Thank you!
Nice build 👍
Thank you! Glad you watched my video!
Awesome tractor thank you for the video
Thank you!
Very nice too!
Great video, great detail and awesome tractor! Subbed! 👍
Thanks for the sub!
@@AbbyNormalGarage thanks for letting me know about your build! So cool! I can’t believe you said I was your inspiration to do something cool… this blows my projects out of the water!
@@PullStartStables Thanks for the kind words. Your videos definitely inspired trying TH-cam and doing something different. I'm pretty shy and reserved normally. This one was what I'd call a once in a lifetime build. I doubt I could top it. Can't afford to try to at the moment. But who knows wall fish seems to come up with new ideas. There's a guy that has a dragster made out of a craftsman rider he takes to the car shows. I kind a like that guy at the show that had the engine in the back. Looking forward to your next video! Are you planning any future trips to VA?
Awesome wheel horse tractor I got one with a diesel in it
Thanks 👍
nie bulid looks sweet
Cool dog
That she is!
Can a pulley swap be done on a hydrostatic wheelhorse? My parents have an old wheelhorse that the deck rotted out on. I think it's a 250-H. Would be a fun toy if it went a little faster.
I’m not to familiar with the 250-H. On the 300, 400, 500’s hydros its not recommended. I have seen a video where a guy had and wheels with it. I don’t think it’s a long term thing though. With hydro’s you’re dealing with pumps and fluids under pressure designed to operate within a specific range. At the minimum it would create more heat and faster wearing. At maximum it could over pressure the system and blow lines and seals. I don’t know enough to say yes or no. Thats why I went with a manual. Adding power steering would be so much easier on an hydro. You could also gain speed by bigger tires. You should ask on some of the wheel horse groups. Off-road wheel horse team on facebook has a lot of guys with experience.
@AbbyNormalGarage I wondered about the transmission too. I'm sure it would put more strain and wear on it. I kinda wish it was manual.
great video! im gonna use some of these ideas on my wheelhorse build. check it out on my youtube if you get a chance!
Subscribed! Look forward to seeing it!
you sure its a 98? i think its a 80s dude
I’m 100% the serial number is for a 98. It has the 96 and up pedals, and it had the 98 and up Kohler command 14. The 98 and up also had the 3 big idiot lights on the dash 85-97 had 5 smaller ones.
@@AbbyNormalGarage huh.... i guess they made that hood for a while.
@@kollinspencer847 last year was 2007!
@@AbbyNormalGarage for that hood? really? i thought toro stopped making the wheel horses in 03
