- 👋 Today we check out the 2022 Jeep Gladiator Willys edition! Find out if it's still worth buying over the Wrangler version! The Jeep Gladiator Willys is an awesome off road truck! In today's video, we check out the Jeep Gladiator! This model is the Jeep Gladiator Willys edition, which comes with the black accents in the grill along with the wheels! It has a great exterior design. You can see how this looks like a Jeep Wrangler and has the same shape all around with the addition of the bed! Also on the exterior are the factory rock sliders for added projection along with the knobbier tires! The interior has a nice design and for the JT model, it's pretty much in the middle of what's available for the Gladiator! This has the 8.4'' screen, cloth seats and an easy to use infotainment system! I love that Jeeps always have a ton of info in the gauge cluster to go through! Being a mid size truck, this still has back seats that are usable for full size adults! So if you don't use them often and you really don't need the extra space offered, this is a great option to get! From an offroad perspective, there are advantages and disadvantages to the Gladiator vs Wrangler, especially when comparing the wheelbase and length! But either way, you will have a ton of fun! The Wrangler is definitely going to have a tighter turning ability, which can help in daily driving situations along with on the trails! But it does lack the same towing capacity of the Gladiator. It's what you would expect from a Jeep Wrangler and it's great that Jeep offers two different the Gladiator to give you that truck aspect! On Road driving is also pretty good for what it is. Steering is pretty vague and it's not that fast. But the Gladiator has some pep i the slow speeds and offers so much off road, that some on road sacrifices are well worth it. I do enjoy driving it and with the removable hardtop it adds a ton of fun when you also take off the doors.

If you look up “John Willy’s” who it’s named after, his last name is pronounced “Willis”, not will-eee, I said it correctly.
Just depends on what you use the truck for and it you want that open air experience from the jeep.

Bought a two door Wrangler 6 speed.
Going to Gladiator. Having been a lifelong truck guy, including everything the Army BLM NPS USAF drives I am taking this.
If you are not working trucks are just too big with high maintenance costs.
As for all the driving over rocks videos maybe watch them drive a used K series Chevy across Alaska into a lake into a Glacier.
$5000 truck. All your crap will not prepare you for driving out to Toroweap or Kelly Point or Moab if you do not know that dust holds 1 inch of water. Under it is dust. Hit the brakes you go straight. No trans cooler toasted trans.
Tires I bought serious tires BLM had plain rocks go right through them doing 55 mph down BLM1059.
This thing can do it from Turkey Creek LBL to Movie Road to AZ STRIP to Colorado to almost everywhere. And carry your junk. Dog. Guns.
Beer. The perfect west of the Mississippi vehicle.
The gladiator is a cool option. I wouldn’t agree that trucks have high maintenance costs..and not sure where the rest of your comment comes from or is about, but taking trucks offroad is a lot of fun!

Yeah I'm retired and have a new Jeep gladiator Willis. I just put a clear lidz top on I love it it was quite expensive. 1,400 but it's a pretty neat addition to my new truck thanks for your content. 🤠
I gave it a Thumbs up but You need to Get Underneath More. Get out of the Broshure Testamony Investigate a Bit.

People Will Always Compair What they Have to Something New...3. 10-15 min. videos Is Where It's At Unless You Do something For Example Test Drive and Older Jeep Then Hop In the New Guy And Compair....4. How Does The Driver Feel In the Seat....High/Low....Can You See Well? How Easily are Things Accessed Example.... No one Cares About Wiper Blade Controls And Blinker Handles 🤣 Tell Themif They Feel Solid/A Bit Janky or If You Prefer Different etc. Example I CAN'T stand The Fords Turn Signal Levers As They Have Revised them And now Feel To Me Feel Much Better than When They First Changed to Their Style (spicifically where It Doesn't Latch and You Just Bump It) . Hope This Helps...Take It However You Like. Oh. also Please Always Mention.... Heavy or Light Steering....I hate heavy my Wife Likes Heavy steering. and Lastly Park Them Back Them Up Turn In A Parking Mall... How Does it Feel Getting in And Out.... Older people Will Love this Part.... on the Turning...I had A 2018 Subaru Outback Loved It.... Could Damn Near Turn Inside itself👍 And My Wife Traded Out For A Nissan Frontier '19 Solid Truck And Drive train But Super Heavy Steering and Turns Like An Oil Tanker 🤦 Well She Likes it 🤷 So What ever 🤣. But She Often Mentions What she Liked about other Cars And Trks We had... Thats Her way Of Complaining 🤣...
Another Tip... Get a App And Measure Interior Noise levels. And Vibration meters....Put A Bit Of Data Out There.

lol We have filmed 2 other Willys Jeeps and in those videos, said it different ways. Both videos half the people said it was the wrong pronunciation. So clearly half the people say it one way ,the other half say it the other way.
