Everything you see that is half human half some animal, they are part of the Vastaya (as they are half spiritual beast, they have long lives and are also magic-y) Zaun and Piltover are prolly the Places resembling our world the most (considering there is a lot of magic and stuff out there), specially since Piltover is very science based Yes, the topsiders dont like to breath the poluted air from the under city, so they use masks Start of EP3 backstory, is Silco not Viktor Also i don't think everyone was about to die, the bois just managed to finished making an escape path, so at most maybe vander would have died by holding purple undergoon boi back
"Guy with the eye"... that's Silco. He took Powder in because he sees himself in her. She is abandoned by her sister and left for dead like Vander abandoned him.
His voice actor, Jason Spisak, is basically the Sean Bean of animation. He`s usually the villain or a younger hero than his actual age and he is almost always killed off.
Y’all don’t understand how I love Silco as a character. He’s such a complicated villain. If you look at his background deeper you can’t help but seriously understand how all of the history in Arcane happened to be. Super cool.

Besides, I always recommend watching the first season twice. Watching it the second time makes you realize more things that you’ve missed

It was put on hiatus twice, first because before Fortiche got involved Riot higher ups doubted Christian and Alex could make it work because their vision was more ambitious than the PC games, Esports and music videos they were used to making and second because of the pandemic . 2. This show combines 3-D character models, 2-D backgrounds and effects and matte painting. It is a process called keyframing. 3. The voice cast is a mix of veteran voice actors, actors who are more used to live action work, VAs from The Games in different roles, hell even voice directors and musicians make cameos in the show itself! Powder`s VA(Mia Sinclair Jenness) was 11 Years Old at the time and had only done stage plays and one Disney Junior cartoon up to that point, funnily enough both her first and second VO roles were France/USA collaborations much like my ancestry, haha! 4. This show got Americans, Brits, Frenchmen and Aussies to work together during a pandemic no less, last time it took a whole world war to pull that off!
Anyone who`s wondering what Silco`s accent is, it`s a harsh and raspy colonial Virginia Tidewater accent which like his cobbled together suit represents his desire for the Zaunites to have the same opportunities and recognition as their Piltie Topside cousins. A lot of people mistake it for British but if you listen closely the antebellum South and Canadian influences of the Tidewater accent can be heard in his speech as well.(Ie. "Wader" instead of "water"). He also sometimes slips into what`s been speculated by fans to be his native Zaunite accent in moments of anger and frustration.
Vi, Caitlyn, Powder/Jinx, Jayce, Heimerdinger, Viktor,Ekko and Singed(The Doctor) are playable champions. Silco was added as a tactician to Team Fight Tactics which is fitting because that game`s all about controlling monsters which is kinda his whole thing when he`s not praising Jinx and setting her up to be the future of Zaun. Jinx`s birthname and sibling connection to Vi was confirmed in the online card game "Legends of Runeterra" set within the same universe as "League".(Runeterra is the world of "League", it`s basically a parallel universe version of our Earth mixing ancient, medieval, modern, steampunk and chempunk elements in which magic once thrived throughout the regions but was banned in most of them after what was called the Rune Wars, basically a bunch of mages got power hungry and fucked up the world).
Fortiche is a French animation studio that specializes in mixing 3-D character models, 2-D backgrounds and effects and matte painting like in old movies like the Star Wars Original Trilogy and the classic Planet of the Apes Films and Series. They actually started working with Riot when Jinx was added to League and made the "Get Jinxed" music video. It`s fun to look at how Fortiche`s graphics have evolved over the years as they definitely started off more cartoony and now they are far from photorealistic(Which I`m not necessarily opposed to but I think a lot of video game franchises lose their soul going too far in that direction, just because it worked for FFVII doesn`t mean it will work for every fucking game, ya know?)but they`re basically like living Renaissance era paintings which I far prefer.(Of course, like the show I`m French-American, specifically Alsatian, Basque, French Jewish and French Romani so I am biased).

That seems about perfect, just long enough time to binge extra Arcane content and build up anticipation, but not sooooo long as to lose what little is left of my sanity. 😂 Depending on how they wrap up the next (and final 😭) season, Arcane might be my favorite show of all time. Given the trailer and teaser scenes they have released for season 2, I'm very hopeful!
