*BTW* the word “tear” is used as a double entendre.
So RM uses it as Tear as in crying, and Suga used tear as in tearing/ripping his heart apart.

I rmember when teddy walton, a producer who worked kendrick lamar, ASAP rocky, bryson tiller post malone etc., was invited to their concert and said outro: tear was one of the best performance ever that he had to stop recording just to pay attention, and said he would love to work with them, and that it inspired him

The other tweet asked which performance is memorable to him. Then he basically answered with the answers mentioned above

I saw them perfrom this live at CitiField in New York and omg. The absolute energy and emotion that was radiating off that stage. Suga's verse is my favorite but live Jhope completely steals the song. I gasped during his part.
Me too! This song is meant for an open dome stadium. It's one of the most vivid moments in my life. TEAR is arguably my favorite BTS song, and witnessing it live was..................words will never be enough to describe that feeling.

I was just fanchanting a screaming as much as possible at Citified so i barely remember anything. But at this song I remember RM coming onstage with the powerful opening verse. JHope is an amazing rapper and his verse makes me weak, but Suga makes my knees weak and brings tears to my eyes with this one. Basically what I am trying to say is this performance was *Amazing*

I had heard that it was when they were considering disbanding BTS and that's what Yoongi is rapping about. But I didn't see him say that so idk for sure.
I always felt when jhope comes into verse 2 there is so much emotion and heart break in his voice that I think no one can deny that jhope really makes this song.

For me although I love RM style of rapping .... In my opinion JHOPE kill that Tear. I can feel all his emotion through the lyrics and I don't even speak Korean
FINALLY. Been waiting for you guys to do this one. I’ve always felt they were all equal in this, though I do LOVE how J-hope ends it. But yes, I always turn this one up and jam it out, love the emotion and everything that goes into it!

Yes, it is a song and not a cypher. It is the outro for their album Love Yourself: Tear. It is the perfect ending to a beautiful album. You guys should check it out. As always, I enjoyed your reaction and commentary.

From what I understand is that Suga wrote this song when they struggled and thinking about misbanding the group. That's why it's so emotional and they all killed it with such emotion and their live video concert shows just as much emotion. Which I'm sure you may have found already. But thought I'd throw it out there anyways. But yes Suga wrote and they produced it.
I love bts don't get me wrong love all of em. But I'm a super big fan of the rap line. I was so excited to see them perform this track specifically and I was not dissapointed i got chill all over.

I went to their concert at the Staples Center in LA. Let me tell you Outro Tear and Mic Drop were WILD performed live. Incredible energy. And the crowd was just as hyped. I can’t wait to see them live again-they are truly on a whole other level.

I've been waiting for this! Tear is homograph word, if you paid attention they pronounce it differently, RM meant "crying tears" and SUGA meant "tearing apart", for JHOPE it was "fear" of talking after the breakup. the song has a deeper meaning and that's why it's my favorite.

This is my favorite rap line song. Like he said, the emotion behind it was amazing. 💜💜
This song is hands down my favorite Rap line song because it was written during a time when the group was considering disbanding. Yoongi (Suga) composed the beat and all three wrote the lyrics. They played it for the rest of the group and the all cried together and decided not to disband shortly after. 2018 was a rough year for them, this is why they broke down when they won Artist of the Year that year at MAMA. (Very emotional speech there, check out the performance and speech for 2018 MAMA in Hong Kong). This song live is also so good, J Hope puts so much more emotion in it live.
Interesting fact: Teddy Walton (one of Kendrick Lamar's producers) saw Tear being performed live at Citifield and straight away said that he was blown away and needed to work with BTS.
Although I love all of them its natural to compare and appreciate them all. Don't listen to the complainers.
This is why I absolutely adore BTS' rapline. The three of them have such unique and different styles and flow but wheww the power they exude when rapping together. I love how they compliment each other and I love how they write their own raps and each contribute to the production and arrangement. The talent!

The artistry and versatility/clarity is so very apparent. It reaches into your throat and steals your breath.
Suga’s verse will forever be the most legendary and fire thing to me, that flow and voice switch never fails to get me hype. RM’s flow is crazy and J-Hope killed it, I love that they switched it up and gave him the last verse.
the rapline always have good songs. outro tear is one of my fav songs from BTS rapline. i have never been into their concert but i watched many fancams of it and this song is really amazing when they perform it live💜 all of them are my favorites but jhope gives ALL his emotions to this when he performs this live, it makes the song even more emotional & meaningful. i also like the outfits that they wear everytime they perform tear 😍
Please keep choosing who you think will have the best verse. I don’t care what anybody else says, but when you guys do that it adds another layer to the reaction, and makes it more entertaining. It also helps you focus more.

Disclaimer: I'm a hardcore Extreme Metal fan (Death, Black, Doom, Crust, Grind, etc.) and really not into pop music. My kid is in love with this band though, and as a doting father I spend a lot of time listening to BTS in the car whenever we're going anywhere as a family. I am not fond of pop music, but I do like certain rap performers that have come and gone over the years... and this rap line is pretty fucking incredible. I took her to one of the films that played here for one night only... I think it was a whole live show for their last album(s), and this song was included. I watched the whole song and their performance was amazing! So yeah, respect from this metalhead... oh, and J-Hope takes the cake on this one lads. ;-)

I love this song to the bone marrow ...... I remember the first time I heard him and did not understand the words, but despite this emotional message was so powerful that I felt great sadness. This is phenomenal, I love this emotional bullet, I often immerse myself in this sadness.

The chord progressions from the strings in the background are what really do it for me in this track. It just makes the rap more pleasing to my classical musician ear.

The 3 members were involved in creating the song along with 2 other people, but DOCSKIM is the only one listed as producer. As you can see, DOCSKIM is credited as one of the songwriter/composer (he also played the piano, keyboard, synthesizer, and bass for the recording), but he also has supervisory role in the creation of the song and the recording. Basically, they create the groups music in a team-like frame were few people (members, in-house production team & in some cases also outside collaborators such as DJ Swivel etc.) are writing/composing/contributing/editing until they get the final amazing product they and we love.
This song is even more amazing live. You feel so much intensity and emotion from the three of them from start to finish but when it reaches J-Hope's part he just literally blows everyone away who is listening and watching him finish the song. He projects so much power and raw emotion. You don't even have to understand the language, you just feel it. Perfect ending.
Teddy Walton, who has worked with several artists such as Kendrick Lamar on Black Panther's album, he saw Tear live at their concert and he said it was one of the best performance ever and that he needed to work with them. He said they inspired him for his work.
In my humble opinion, I was always surprised when the album came out how this song was the one with less streams by far compared to the others. It is understandable that everyone has their preferences and I respect that. Based on the numbers when the album was released, a lot of fans prefer the ballads and/or dancing side tracks, but for me, a person who has not been deep into rap throughout my life, this was the song in the album that blew me away. It is raw, intense and the deep lyrics so meaningful. A masterpiece. I am happy that later on I have seen a lot of people mention that after watching the song live now they get it.
Thanx guys for reacting to this song. We love this rap line masterpiece. A lot of ARMY weren’t sure about it at first... I think people were expecting another cypher and what they got was a song about love gone wrong. Tho there was a large majority of people who love this song and stood up for it and of course later on rap line came out with Ddeang and that became the unofficial cypher 5 and so it was easier for people to look back on “Outro Tear” with fondness. Also my best girlfriend ( whom I met online because she was a part of an all MALE reaction group as a BTS expert. When I noticed her Red Converse Highs I left a comment about her coming for my man RM [which is a ARMY thing/joke] and now we’re best friends ...that’s the power of BTS) I attended the BTS concert in Fort Worth, Texas ( I flew from DC and she took a four hour bus ride from San Antonio) and it was amazing & “Tear” stole the show.

So this is non-BTS related but there is a rapper who goes by the Moniker Flowsik. He is Korean- American and was born in Queens, NY & bred in Long Island City, Queens and is known for his deep gritty voice and his NY accent. Much like his name his FLOW IS SICK!!! So sick in fact that CA$H MONEY signed him and his band AZIATIX. Unfortunately the band didn’t stay together and each member went there own way. Flow is now based in Korea and THERE he is still on the come-up, which is unbelievable since he’s one of the best rappers I’ve ever heard. So... can you please react to his Song and Music video “”KARI”. The song is in English except for the word “KARI” ( Kkari or Ggari is a slang Korean word for “Fresh, Fly, Dope...” It kinda sounded like “Gotti”when I first heard it but that’s because most “K’s” are sounded out like “G’s” in Korean) anyway I’m abso sure he’ll blow you away. He also came out with the song “BBung” about a month earlier (than Kari) that you should check out. He has some excellent older songs as well, my favorite being “ the calling”
Also, I’m not sure if you’ve met rapper/singer Jessi yet but like Flowsik she was born in Queens and bred in Jersey until she was fifteen then she moved to Korea and she’s his “unofficial little sister” and they’ve collabed on a few songs you should also check out: “Wet” ( STRAIGHT BANGER) and “All I need ( STRAIGHT BOP)”
Jessi has her own music as well: “SSsenunni”, “Gucci” & “Down”...(to name a few). Hope you take my suggestions cuz not only are these songs straight bops but they are also really popular and should pull in some views... especially “WET”. Thanx again for the review and thanx for keeping an open mind about the music and NOT just where the music came from or that it’s not in English. You can’t even imagine the hate some people spew w/o even listening. Anyway, have a good night fellas.

I wonder if new fans of BTS gets confused on why they have so many songs. Seriously, I have never seen a group release this much music. Even their mini-albums are like the size of other artist's full album. They're are so great!
