I'm Suga biased and I loved his verse but I agree, Namjoon's purposeful stutter made his verse my favorite here.
RM murdered this track. 🔥 Here's why.
1) His word plays was a WHOLE diss.
2) The stutter was a STRAIGHT diss. There were people who came to them trying to apologize once they got famous while stuttering. He was mocking them by stuttering on purpose.
3) The frog in the well verse was clever AF.
I never knew #2 but this is so awesome
RM TOOK this LOL. Just LOVE the unexpected calmness, ESPECIALLY the stutter.

I love RMs verse. Suga is my bias but RM's voice in this song just seems so unbothered. And that is just so hard, considering the whole message of the song. Lol!

Everytime RM just amazes me with his creativity not only in Korean, but in English too and of.course his voice and flow are everything to me.

How about *"Outro: Tear"* or *"Silver spoon (Baepsae)"* now? Silver spoon also has explaining vlog by David!
Frankly, even *the beat* is a *diss itself* . Yoongi produced it and it was very likely a message to those who said BTS got westernized.
Personally, I think the song was written after Mic Drop, the only song they've rapped in english. It must have pissed off the Korean frogs.
There's 4 Cyphers, Cypher 5 is very probably Mic Drop - as the last track with the high point of their flex, containing all the members. They sing:
*"Don't need to see each other again, this is my last goodbye. Nothing more left to say, don’t even apologize"*
Which seems to be their last message.

Both subjectively and objectively, BTS is not not getting westernized. It would be about their customs and music's vibe. They've been producing universal music and flexing on western achievements - in 2017 it became a problem to haters, so I'm glad in 2018 they're presenting Korean roots basically in every special intro performance, not to mention traditional elements and music tracks, such as DDaeng and IDOL

If you go by this, there's at least 23 other diss songs. Airplane pt2 isn't essentionally a diss track

Namjoonie (RM) is a real lyrical genius in my opinion. He uses word plays, double meanings and I recognize construction techniques in his verses that also appear in ancient Latin writings. On top of all that, he makes it cohesive and pleasant to the ear. To me, he truly proves his genius in verses like this. It also shows that he reads a lot and thinks carefully about everything! (Not saying that others don’t, ofcourse)
Namjoon snapped. That's it. His play words always really good tho. Maybe that's why his lyrics mostly use for BTS by BH
BTS are smart AF. there are like 7-8 different meanings to the lyrics. That beat go hard tho. It’s better live 4 sure.

Suga is the spirit of the rap line, J-Hope is the groove of the rap line, and RM is the cerebral assassin of the rap line. My favorite part of the song was RM's stuttering, and how he came on the track cool as fuck after Hope and Suga flamed it. They needed to be hot so that he could be extra cool.

I feel like jhope is always the underrated rapper in bts. Most of his verses aren’t amazing in their cyphers but his hope world mixtape is amazing! Hopefully you can react to it! Especially verse1
jhope is really not underrated at all lol. on spotify, he has more followers than the other rapper and he always has the most addictive verse in bts song. even Namjoon sid that Jhope is the king of hooks.

Rm is my favorite verse because he show us a rap flow he never used before and that was really cool to heard 🤗 his part it’s really pleasant to listen ❤️
Outro: Tear is not titled a cypher but it is a rap line song and in my opinion and a lot of other fans, it’s better than all the Cyphers.
DDAENG was used in so many ways in this song like a wordplay. It could mean:
-wrong/incorrect
-the sound of the bell
-perfect/good bet (the highest number combinations in the korean traditional gambling card game)
-sudden realization
-ddaeng was also used to rhyme like everyTHANG etc
RM won this there is this TH-cam channel Dkdktv they are explaining the lyrics and RM killed it
The whole song is just a dope build-up to RM’s verse

Ddaeng is fire. Lmao my guy friend doesnt like BTS. He hates it when i talk about them. One Day i was there he texted me that he heard a BTS song and hes in love. I asked him what song he said it starts with a D. So i sent him DDaeng and DNA and he was like yhh thats the song(Ddaeng). Apparently someone was playing it and he heard it.....he just instantly loved the song. lmaoo i think thats the only BTS song in his playlist.

outro: tear!!! is another rapline song. it's not considered a cypher but it's a masterpiece. i also highly recommend Silver Spoon (bapsae) which also has an explanation video by david :)

About the "other Cypher": some people consider Outro: Tear to be a Cypher, but I don't really see why because it's really different to the Cyphers (other than it's only the rappers in the song). You should definitely listen to it, though - it's amazing.

"Outro: tear" its another bts rapline song, its not a cypher but its just the rapline just like ddaeng
This was a very good reaction/review, and as another comment said, Suga produced the song which is worth noting! There aren't any more cyphers, but you might want to listen to the rap line songs Outro: Her (also produced by Suga) and Outro: Tear. In addition to those, I also strongly recommend the rap line's individual mixtapes: Agust D from Suga, RM and Mono from RM, and Hope World from J-Hope.
When Rapline performed this last Army festa everyone stay silent when it's RM verse and Armys got pregnant after!😂😂 the stuttering part..😋😋😋😋

RM's verse is just on another level. From his multiple uses of "ddaeng", to the stutter, to his calm delivery telling haters to die not knowing the larger world, he is a lyrical genius. There's a reason why he was known as Rap Monster.

this track my most favourite from BTS rapline, which is tough when there's many to choose from. I think this really highlights their cleverness and wholesomeness; they don't need to sink to the gutter to get one over their haters. RM's verse is the best which is saying something coz J-hope and Suga had great verses. But that ASMR vibe he got going on (that he explores further in "Mono") along with the fantastic wordplay, this is what takes him to that next level. which is pretty much his whole bag, so yeah. Peace.
I believe this is the end of the Cyphers aka diss-tracks. Another you might have seen is a skit from their first ever release. It's called - Outro: Circle Room Cypher - and all of the members try improvising on the beat that Suga produced. It's hilarious, totally recommend - it shows their great relationship.
Rap-line have other songs in BTS discography, one of the most mentioned is - Outro: TEAR - in my personal opinion it is a masterpiece.
If you are interested in BTS rappers' solos, I 100% recommend:
J-Hope's mixtape "HOPE WORLD" - "Base Line" and "Blue Side" are my favorites, but songs with MVs "DAYDREAM" and "Airplane" (the original, that was a base for BTS song "Airplane Pt. 2") are excellent too. All of the songs are produced by J-Hope with Supreme Boi's help.
SUGA's mixtape "AGUST D" - the whole album is straight hip-hop. Most of the songs are produced by SUGA (I believe "Intro: Dt sugA" and "AGUST D" were sampled so they are only available on Soundcloud). "The Last" is a very emotional song, bc it full of painful truth and raw emotions. My personal favorite is "Far Away" feat. SURAN (or special edition with Jin and Jungkook).
You have already reacted to a lot of RM's songs. But I will say that his first mixtape was pretty rough and it is worth a listen bc of excellent lyricism.
I also suggest, maybe you guys would review BTS older albums that are amazing and I feel nostalgic even thinking about them. I still can't choose my favorite album. My first album was WINGS, but than I got back to The Most Beautiful Moment in Life series and Part 2 really stood out to me. I would love to see what you guys think about each of them. I recommend reacting chronologically (oldest - newest or newest - oldest). I recommend whole albums and not just songs, bc masterpiece that is "Whalien 52", means so much more in context of a whole album. And when you hear all the solo songs on WINGS/YNWA it is completely different feeling than hearing them separately.

i think from a korean perspective suga killed this bc of the wordplay he did. a lot of what he says doesn’t really make sense if you don’t know the meaning behind it, so for Koreans, suga took this one
Nah, He's so straight forward with his words tho, that's Our savage Suga, to do point person. But RM different, even local people/Korean GP really quiet & applause when his verse come cuz so much going there, maybe that's why BH really trust lyrics from him
