I just had to make one more :)
(Translations were not the primary focus on this video so I made it a little crazy + 2 :/)
Made this for fun because the Korean casters were amazing to watch! I had so much fun editing this haha :D

I still recommend this to friends, even if they've never watched dota. It's an incredible study into madness - casters forced to commentate a game for 90 minutes despite losing interest in 15. It's amazing they came out the other side alive.
Let's not be ridiculous. It is hardly a study into madness. More like a showcase of how sarcastic and energetic commentary can elevate an otherwise boring game to comedic acclaim.
Ive played Dota for 9 years and studied Korean for 4, JUST so I can enjoy this video to the fullest extent. Thank you for keeping this up
It's funny how people saying the Korean casters were unprofessional when the other casters stopped casting and even Lightofheaven left his desk to come play with their camera. They were hilarious and made the 100 min game a lot better to watch. Just my opinion of course.

I totally agree, haha. I would prefer these casters over the shitty ones that I see cast all the time on league/Dota2, because they have the blandest step-by-step commentary ever. "He uses a skill shot. He misses. He walks back to base. etc."

ok let's put an end to this.. this is a 6mins clip from a 90+mins game and those 6mins were the most entertaining part of this particular game.. (i watched it live.. and it was.. excruciatingly boring..) so yea.. people were actually falling asleep everywhere and the other casters kept leaving for the toilet, playing on their phones etc etc. these casters ACTUALLY carried on casting what was an uncastable (made up word there) game so they had to go crazy. they're not documentary presenters so i think it's ok they did that to make it a bit more fun and there's nothing unprofessional about it. thanks to them, Koreans watching this match could carry on watching. SO STOP YOUR WHINING WITH UNPROFESSIONAL CRAP.

So many people asking "why are they so unprofessional? ewwwwwww...." Well, as a matter of fact, their commentary was quite professional just like other casters from different nations. But then the characteristics of "chinese dota" stood out and game got really (and I mean REALLY) boring. Some casters from other countries even slept or left their spot so Korean casters were like "alright, we'll carry this game"

As a native Korean watching this I gotta say that the translations actually felt toned down compared to what they were saying...

Starting with StarCraft, it is a very traditional broadcast in Korea, and in other regions, it is said to be random and unprofessional commentary, but from the perspective of Koreans, e-sports has a considerable history and is familiar with this commentary. Of course, only e-sports is such a unique case, but it would be a big problem if other sports broadcasts do this
