Voices get better- MUCH better- after the first two volumes. It helps that they basically stole Funimation's usual roster. Current cast members include Vic Mignogna (Edward Elric), Elizabeth Maxwell (Mokoto Kusanagi), Yuri Lowenthal (Simon the Digger), Jen Taylor (Cortana), Christopher Sabat (Vegeta), Josh Grelle (Armin Arlert), Mike McFarland (Master Roshi), Jason Douglas (Beerus), J. Michael Tatum (Scar), Kent Williams (Father), and other notables. And the really impressive part is that they DON'T run away with the show. The original cast's voice acting has improved enough that they're on the same level. On that note, RWBY is being dubbed in Japanese, by a number of big name voice actors and actresses. They just finished up volume two, and are moving into dubbing volume three.

We never DID see his semblance, so there is a chance he's still around. Probably dead though. Pity- he was one of my favorite villains of any series period.

RWBY technically isn't an anime, it is made by a (relatively) small american studio famous for the Halo parody Red Vs Blue. I normally don't go for shows made in america but the team behind RWBY is.... unusual, and the episodes are free on TH-cam and Crunchyroll.

Next time I'd recommend trying to time the shots with the music and mixing them up rather than picking clips from the same scene to use all at once. Additionally, I'd see if you can find parts of the show that relate to the lyrics.
