Losi gold. The only problem with you're losi colection is you need just one more losi. Maybe two more. Maybe just get them all. Love the xxx and the way it drives
Forgive me I jest. Ha ha. You already own my favourites. My back in the day story. After multiple tamiyas ending in a avanti. Came to a end with a losi pro kit. The next year it got the SE conversion. The next year it got the LXT conversion. My friend smashed his bush deviil into the pro and broke my shock tower. He is still not forgiven to this day
i used to race the xxxt trucks in SoCal when they first came out absolutely love the Losi trucks even got into the gas trucks then eventually went to koysho mp7 1/8th scale Buggie racing. man, the late 90's and early 2000's where super fun offroad racing for me.
I grew up a RC-10 guy but i always felt Losi's were way more stylish, especially the whole XXX line. Also Ari if you have a chance to get a Losi XXX-SCB get one before they become too rare and expensive. They are super fun.
I love that XX4 that you have. I'd like to eventually add one but not in a rush. I think I'm done with LOSI for now. I need to get caught up on some projects and stop buying. Just so you know... I have ventured into the world of BUYEE... got a couple body sets and a used tamiya 2wd buggy from there. waiting for everything to ship.
The XXX KE is missing the blue ball cups, blue bumpers, and blue motor plate. Make sure the front spindles are blue also. Yours has 2 Trinity upgrades though. I’ve had my XXX KE since 2001 :)
Hey Ari, re: the glue on your XXX chassis. I’ve been successful with acetone vapor, just like trying to get tires off the wheels. Just pour some acetone in a bowl and set the chassis over it. Try to keep the vapor contained with plastic wrap or something and check back in an hour or so. Should soften it up so you can rub/scrape it off. Good luck!
Hey thanks for the tip. Someone else also shared acetone but they said to be careful as the fumes might also eat away at the white lettering at the bottom of the chassis. They said to maybe use a Q-tip and dab that area with acetone and wipe as you go. Hope I don't screw it up lol....
Absolutely. Rc10 was a big deal when i was a kid. I think im gonna try to find one. I need some retro on my channel. We have a few but mostly newer stuff.
Black wheels on that pro and I think acetone should take that super glue off. I’m not sure if it will affect the graphite but I’ve used it to unstick my fingers and clean the glue off of them.
What was sad about the JRX-Pro - was that it represented Team Losi’s act of giving up on the 5-link rear suspension to switch back to the traditional double wishbone configuration. That 5-link suspension of the JRX2 predecessor was extremely unique and innovative.
That JRX-Pro body looks great! I would use the black wheels for a meaner look and forget trying to match colors. When you rebuild the diff, use new carbide diff and trust balls. As far as it's history goes..I really think it's a parts-build and not a progression of upgrades. There is such a mishmash of parts that don't make sense...
Hey thanks for the advise. Do you know what size carbide diff and thrust balls? This is going to be my first LOSI tear down and rebuild so I'm venturing into unknown territory lol...
Not sure if you ever got the glue off that buggy chassis or not, but they make CA glue remover. I've used in furniture manufacturing. I was also wondering are you familiar with a good 2S brushless motor setup for a 1/10 vintage Losi Desert truck, very similar to the XXXT chassis setup. I assume they have the same transmissions but I'm not 100% sure. I'm thinking something in the high KV range around 4800 to 5500kv 360 can brushless motor. I don't won't to blow the diff gear out though.
The XXX was the best Stadium Truck i ever had......😊
The "XXX" series was the best line of rear motor vehicles ever to grace the track.
Like being hooked on the TRF201 variants all 5 of em. 😅

LOL which one am I missing... or would you recommend me getting?

Yes I love the vibrant colors that LOSI used on their parts. Definitely more stylish. Thanks for the recommendation.
Very cool. Love the XXX's they are my favs in the Losi.
Love them too. So sleek and right on the cusp of vintage and then the switch over to cab forward design.
Yesssssss The LOSI Gil be praised
Awesome cars! I only have the XX4 worlds although I am always looking at the 2wd’s. I just know that once I start, I will have a pile like you. Lol

Install the white Losi 5 spokes on the Junior-Two to make it box art correct maybe
Great video what happened to the other track you went to.
Don't run there anymore.

@@RCRetro 3/32" for the diff and 1/16" for the thrust.

Try a product called un cure to get the ca glue broken down
Wow.. thanks.. just. read the reviews on Amazon and I think I'll try this before acetone. Thanks for the tip.
