They definitely did have a problem with rushing and all that and getting caught in the moment - but if they keep practising, I think they will eventually reach a level they couldn't even imagine
I think all they're missing is a sense of consistent timing, someone or someones to properly hold the beat. If they had that, they would be a great force to be reckoned with
I just watched all of the VR vids in order to see the pre-song reels. The thing i noticed is that the producers must have really liked Kyana. I think she appears the most in those packages, particularly after "against all odds." I think she might have also got disproportional camera time during the performances, but i might just have imagined that because I think she's kinda neat. I'm not sure I even know half of their names. I wish i could have heard more from/about the "band," all those girls not singing solos(or being Kyana).
I wonder who chooses these outfits. They are incredibly talented, but on a shallower note I liked their earlier outfits a LOT better. Yes they look like stars/entertainers now but they don't look like they first did when they came in with 'Bottom of the river'. They look more like Element and it doesn't seem their style. *ends whine*
No, they finished third. I thought they'd be out early as they are "just a high school group" but they proved that assumption wrong episode by episode. I was blown away that they reached the finale, though they deserved it. They also deserved third, as the two above them were flipping amazing!
First off - Excellent! These ladies and gentlemen did themselves proud, in my opinion. But I have a question; I thought I heard someone saying they're a high school group, is that accurate? I see Jo Vinson (Bass singer for Delilah) in there, so the "high school" thing doesn't make sense. Not important, I'm just trying to get the facts. Either way, they're awesome!
Jo from Delilah was a member of the all female group called "Element" this season. They did a battle against the all high school group Vocal Rush, so yes this is an all high school group.
Okay...Sorry, I'm still confused. I get that she's a part of Element. and I've heard that she's a member of a number of groups... But here in this video she's singing WITH Vocal Rush... So is she a member of Vocal Rush or is she just singing with them at the moment? And thanks for trying to straighten me out on this. (I just had a thought! it happens...) Jo must be sort of like the 'Wolverine' of female acapella groups! What I mean by that is, Wolverine (yes, of the X-Men) his 'REAL' mutant power is the ability to be a member of EVERY super hero team in the Marvel Universe.... Maybe Jo is an acapella singing mutant! (food for thought)
She's in there. She's holding the mic close. I can't remember where but I did do some searching but I read that she's in there... (course, I could be wrong...I'm as human as the next...)
I would love to see this show do more seasons. Many more seasons.
this feels like... like the end of a movie? Like a season finale of Glee? so epic.
I love this performance!!
MY BFF IS GONNA BE IN THERE!!! IM SO PROUD

Ooooooohhhhhh girl beat boxer... Heck yeah!
GOO VOCAL RUSH!!! I HOPE TO BE IN VOCAL RUSH ONCE I GET TO HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

Producers did the same thing with the female beatboxer from Backbeats in Season 2. She was cool, too, but I got tired of seeing her.
I feel like i'm watching an episode of Glee!
same omg
So amazing
hands in the air at the end. very glee to me. =D
oooo... shivers
Go OSA Vocal Rush!!!
🔥Fire!🔥
OMG this is soo cool
Did this song even exist back then? Dang...
Amazing.

This video is so awesome I love is song
Unfortunately, the performance seemed very rushed.
yeah, their group name is very appropriate lol
they must like pressure
Does everyone of them still sing or they moved on with other things?
I'm very sad that they didn't win.

Doc T I don't see her in this video at all, outside of the little clip from the battle round in the beginning portion.
She's in there. She's holding the mic close. I can't remember where but I did do some searching but I read that she's in there... (course, I could be wrong...I'm as human as the next...)
Doc T
Jo Vinson was a part of Element not vocal rush but your right she was on the sing off this year.
tbh, they killed it better than ten, still not enough for Home Free though
They definitely should have won.......
Did they win though?
No. 3rd place.
Wow
Ptx is the best i aaalllll 4 seasons
Everyone is bound to their own opinions (I also like Pentatonix but I don't think they are the best. I think every group is the best.)
Too fast, they rushed the song
Rushed? Sure. But miles better than Katy.
虎
Nobody cares
pentatonix is still better...
