Your bearing replacement is the reason I’m afraid to put those 15x8 aluminum wheels with that offset, it’s hard on bearings, but I just want the look!

I still have not had to replace my front wheel bearings. The only bearings I had to replace were the small needle bearings that support the CV shaft in the spindle. That would’ve been the same with stock wheels. Honestly, -6 mm is not that bad.

Thank you for the uploads. This will be helpful when the time comes for me to do mines. Can you put these series in a playlist? I can do it on my end, save it on my own playlist but it will be helful for other Sportage owners. =)

Hello my name is Nick... one question... when i pull off my locking hub i notice a bit of play in the CV shaft im wondering if this is normal or if I need to replace the bering that the CV shaft rides on.
My apologies for bothering you with this its my first 4wd to have CV so iv never worked on them before.

There is a very small needle bearing that the cv shaft rides in just under the hub locker. They go bad often unfortunately. There will always be a tiny bit of play even when it is good, but a bad one should be replaced asap.

Do you have an Instagram? I’m working on my brothers 2002 Kia and when I put it into 4wd a metal bracket fell out from the bottom. It still drives fine??

Unfortunately I don’t have Instagram. If you have Facebook, find and join my group. I would like to take a look at a picture of the bracket that fell out.
