    Thank you for the little tour. I will be coming in the beginning of Feb and want to rent a cheap hotel for 2-3 nights while I search for a long term apartment. You should have checked the prices more carefully and mentioned if these prices are seasonal. In Agota the $8 Flower Hotel is $20 a night in Feb. which I know is high season. So I will probably reserve one of these so I can go directly from the airport. The B M Apartment would be a nice location!

    • @socialsamy
      @socialsamy  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Awesome you should check out the hotels right before you come they always have last minute offers.
      Those three hotels are not seasonal.
      They always under $20 besides few Vietnamese holidays and the international fireworks festival weekends.
      High season is May to July due to Vietnamese tourism. Feb should be very cheap use the agoda app on your phone to get the best rates.
      Like I said long term for those hotel categories aren’t always the best. And don’t worry I will review way more options and until then you have more to choose from 🙏

    Request: can you please do a video about monthly rental apartments as well. Reason is I am planning to visit from Toronto Canada in winter. Try to stay long term may be 4 to 5 months and make this town as a base.
    Would love to see something on how much it will cost for monthly rental in a small apartment ( may be a studio or one bedroom)

      How much do you like to spend a day and how long. I think checking out hotels first is the better way I had 2 very bad experiences with airbnbs.
      1. They canceled me on the day I arrived and I couldn’t do anything.
      2. Super highly rated place was so bad I left and let them clean again for 2 times until it was ok to stay. Like molded food in the microwave and more Urgh

    Excellent reviews of budget hotels. You just can’t beat that price for what you get… A big clean room, AC, nice shower and nice big bed. Those rooms would go for $100-$200 USD per night in N. America in the winter and summer times respectively. I was in Đà Nẵng in May for one week and I loved everything about this city!

    • @20luzer52
      @20luzer52 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Agreed on $100 per night hotel in the US and it's very bad. Old, grungy, smelly room. Anything less would be in dangerous neighborhood with serious crime threat (not pick pocket but actually stabbings).

    • @tomp9659
      @tomp9659 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@20luzer52 you’re absolutely right on. I’ve stayed in one of those hotel before when a very decent hotel was too expensive. I just needed a shower and a quick recharge on a long drive home. The room was pretty bad and still paid > $100 USD.

    • @socialsamy

      Usually you can only book them for 2 weeks I believe at least that was my experience in the past. There are so many of them and like I said in the video don’t book anything for a long time before you went there first.
      I know I like prepping those stays too but it’s super easy to get last minute here and there are so many hotels
