    Wow! The water pressure in my bathroom sink has been decreasing over the 5 years I've lived here. For the past 6 months, it's been almost nothing, just a small little trickle. This took my all of 3 minutes and now I have full water pressure. Thank you so much!!

    It can be really surprising and unexpected how fast water pressure can go from normal to very low due to a clog like this. I was using my sink this morning like normal and later in the afternoon the pressure just dropped. This was the issue! So easy to fix! Thank you!!

    Simple, straightforward video, and the fix worked like a charm. I was convinced this was going to be an expensive, lengthy repair. Thanks!!

    Once I spent around a month with this issue and had no idea it was this simple. When I found out about it, I realized it happened after my water tank got cleaned, probably some debris that were in the bottom of the tank came through the plumbing and got stuck in my faucet. Great video!

    First video I clicked on and probably the best video for giving a solution to a problem. 1:31 into the video and my problem is fixed. Not only did I fix the bathroom sink but I took my newfound knowledge and applied it to my kitchen faucet. Amazing and Incredible video. Thank You!!!

    I moved into an apartment with a lot of things to be fixed. One was bathroom faucet after awhile water trickles to almost nothing. And I saw your video. Only took me a minute to take off the aerator. And faucet is running good. For awhile there I was brushing my teeth at the kitchen sink. Thank you very much!!’

    I wrap a rubber band around the aerator for a better grip it to remove it by hand without tools. Also it's a good idea to put something over the drain to protect from losing parts if something is dropped. Also pay note to what is blocking that aerator. It could be an early warning sign of something wrong elsewhere in the plumbing; maybe a washer disintegrating or a faucet stem crumbling or a water heater rusting., etc.

  • @hugomoreno6511
    @hugomoreno6511 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It could also be that its clogged at the cartridge,blow the linesout,kinked line in the foundation where trash might be stuck,a manifold behind the wall has trash,the water softner also ristricts water when it's beggining to fail...

    Water pressure throughout entire house is suddenly only flowing at about 50%. After a time, I turn on a faucet and it seems to be back to full pressure again, but then I watch it diminish back down to 50% over the span of about 10-15 minutes. Curiously, the hot water flows at about 50%, but the cold only flows at about 10%. This week we've been resurrecting the sprinkler system, and a few days ago there was suddenly ZERO water flow into the house, but upon closing all four sprinkler valves at one of the three buried "stations," I then got the water flowing again into the house, yet only at 50%, current status quo. (Main valve for sprinkler system is now shut off. Interestingly, I just had an outside spigot running--trickling at 30%--and then I popped open the main sprinkler valve, and suddenly the spigot began blasting at 100% but then dropped again back to 30% after 10 -15 seconds.) _Yeesh!_
    Any thoughts? Thanks
    Sam

    The problem I'm having is not a clogged up aerator I checked all of them. I have great pressure whenever I turn on a faucet in the kitchen but if another faucet is turned on lets say in the bathroom the faucet in the kitchen goes down to a trickle. And if I'm in the bathroom and flush the toilet and turn on the faucet at the sink it goes down to a trickle until the toilet fills up. I don't know what else to check unless the pressure regulator is bad. HELP!!!!!!!!!

    My problem is the a sudden loss of pressure at the hot water side only, the cold water comes out fine.

    The faucet in my bathroom doesn't have a place to remove the aerator. I can feel the screen, but can't remove it. Does this mean I should turn off the water and remove the stem to clean out the sediment buildup?

    What if the pressure is bad in the majority of the house? I have a crawlspace and should check for leaks.

    What if that doesn't solve the problem...then what? You're assuming that this could be the only problem with loss of water pressure.

    I had an ongoing steady leak flow while faucet and valves were completed shut off. I replaced the faucet to new, I did all he explained, leak stopped but now I have no water pressure, what could it be?

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Sandra! No water pressure in both hot and cold water out of the new faucet?
      No water pressure to ALL the homes fixtures?

    Mine didn't have a washer, does it matter?

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      pimpalaSS96
      No , you may have to just replace the washer less stem .
      Shut off Water under the sink remove the stem , place a rag over the hole , then slowly turn the water back on , just enough to get water through , and get enough possible debris out of the system , once you verify that your getting enough water coming out , then reinstall the stem back in place . Turn the water back on , if your still getting low pressure , then replace the stem .
      Hope this helps you ,
      Cheers !

      Darn! Maybe the threads broke down. Take that to a local plumbing supply and get another aerator.

    when I removed my aerator the pressure was still low. what do I do now?

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      disconnect the supply lines from the faucet ,then flush into a bucket . Maybe debris stuck in the supply lines.

    • @TwinHomeExperts
      @TwinHomeExperts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The debris is probably caught up deeper in the supply line connection,id check that before replacement
