    Takeaways:
1- Bryan shared his story that how he controlled himself to solve his health problems. And that can be used as a framework where you kinda create you alter egos to actually stop and control your self-destructive behavior.
2- follow the 80-20 rule where 20% percent of your work will bring 80% results. Eat well, focus on postures, and Sleep well.
3- Bryan shares how he used to feel shitty due to his self-destructive habits and that was reflected in his Behaviours. Actually, Hate is a reflection of our deeply hurt souls and the world around us has made it pretty easy for us to get indulge in habits that trigger those feelings.
And if you really think about this for a second, you'll not identify people as BAD and realize that situation and circumstances makes people do what they do.
4- We are equipped with Tools and Technology and map out aspirations according to that.
They also gave really interesting Insights and Instances from pasts humans belief systems around this.

AND THE BEST ANALOGY they both made regarding about jainism and how bryan put it every society see what technology they have and how to evolve through it nd by technology also he said where buddha had meditation and how he wanted society to be meditative! and again where all this connected all the dots😭💎
PURE GEM CONVERSATION! Has to be revisited again in 25th central hahaha ! love u kunal and his team for the core core shift in my personal opinion nd worldview ❤

Thank you K. Shah for asking the Q I've watched hours and hours of B. Johnson content waiting for the A to: 20:52 "How did you manage to conquer the hardest organ, the brain?" In other words, HOW did you "fire" Evening Bryan. Other interviewers have just moved on from "I fired Evening Bryan" -as if it were as simple as turning off a light switch, after years of struggle.
    1. We are all powerless against (certain aspects) of ourselves. We all have the same struggle. There's no shame in that.
    2. We live in a society that (habitually, immediately) reaches for entertainment or junk food, even when we're not hungry. We have such a low tolerance for discomfort...we've become accustomed to constantly soothing (like) having a binky in our mouth...I had to rebuild my baseline of what is stimulation, what is pleasure...re-map my pleasure (threshold to a place where) I find it pleasurable to be in a state of slight discomfort, be that hunger or slight boredom, whatever, to seek it out...everything I value sits on the other side of pain...relationship building...
    3. I don't give myself freedom of (choice of action)...I've created this system to make the decisions for me...based on science and data...I know the algorithm takes better care of me.

When The Will Power is at its low in Evening then we do self destructive behaviour.
Basically will power is used to take decision when you have two choices
Suppose after doing 6 hours of Study from morning to evening but we wanted to do 8 hours a day now we know that 2 hours are remaining but if we are given a choice that 2hours study or 2hours of Social Media
Then due to Will Power being at its Low in the Evening we will make a Self Destructive Behaviour i.e. we will unconsciously choose to go for 2 hours of Social Media option.
But in our Mind we know it is Wrong but we will tell our Mind that we have already done 6Hours of Study which is Enough but back in the Mind you know that in the Morning you set a target for 8 Hours
So This how the Conflict of Decision Making goes on we end up choosing the Wrong One
So its all About Will Power.

    • @ShreyashPatil1811
      @ShreyashPatil1811 ปีที่แล้ว

And Will Power is like a Battery it Drains at the End of Day.
The speed of Draining Depends on The No of Decisions you make in a Day
Thats why Mark Zuckerberg don't take Bu**sh*t decision like choosing which colour of tshirt to wear
And To Charge The Battery to full of Will Power you need a Good 7/8 Hour Sleep
And then again the next day the Will Power is at its Full But the more we take Decisions the more it Drains so that in the Evening we take Self Destructive Behaviour like eating a burger 🍔 at 5pm when our stomach is craving for something to eat or .....

40:01 that's soo true but it would be wrong to say entire mind but that we should not listen to part of brain that reflects selfish gene of our's. we possess a complex array of thoughts and impulses, including those rooted in our evolutionary past. While our brains may have developed certain tendencies towards seeking pleasure and immediate gratification, it is important to exercise rational thinking and consider the long-term consequences of our actions.
Our ability to think critically and make informed decisions is what sets us apart from other species.
Rather than being solely driven by our "selfish genes," we have the capacity to rise above our primal urges and make choices that align with our values, and long-term goals. It is through rational thinking that we can navigate the complexities of life, act in the best interests of ourselves and society, and make decisions that lead to personal growth and the greater good.
