I'm gonna start looking everywhere I go. It would be cool to add some super rares to my collection. Didn't even know these where a thing. I started collecting because I just wanted little tiny versions of my favorite cars. I never knew it went this deep lol
exactly my story
Same I started of with a prelude in yellow a week later ended up getting a bag full of cars 40 in total
As an amatur collector of hotwheels, trust me when i say how hard it is to find treasure hunt cars

Just went out today and found my first Super TH! Never knew what they were until I saw this video, but I spotted the Audi Quattro A1 with some pretty cool wheels and researched why this one had treads. Great video!

Fantastic vid and the comments are great as well. STH's are no joke to find! Maybe mention the difference between the "regular" treasure hunts. Car culture and Boulevard are a bit more expensive, but easier to find and are great alternatives to the STH

I been lucky myself I was getting something at my local supermarket at first I didn't notice because they put so many. They were about 3 people looking I went to the other side to my surprise a super treasure hunt 1

Pretty much just look for the chrome and the hidden logo. Tho on my 18 dodge challenger SRT demon, it says, Congrats we celebrating 25yrs of THs and you just found one! 😍 Probs my first n last STH car I'll find ever 😂

I found two tricera-trucks! Not super treasure hunt, just treasure hunts but two! That’s huge to me
Do both cars (ST and regular) have the same UPC? If they don't, then scanning all the UPCs to create a list and then compare the list to the list of STs. With a bluetooth scanner you can scan every car in just a few minutes.
Hello, tx for the great detailed video. So i went to look at some big grocery shops, and found there to be only HotWheels in 5-10-20 car packs only. It was rather hard to find individually sold HotWheels. So I wonder, do the Treasure or Super TH series only come into the individual packed ones? I went through many that came per 5 cars sets or higher and coudnt fint anything special in between. So therefore the question, is TH or STH cars reserved for individual packaged HotWheels? Thank You.
You must be foreign. I believe it’s only in singles. In the US it’s 90% singles.

Hahahah be careful who you tell that to. People in the hotwheels world call that scalping and it is not looked upon in a good way. I personally think that it’s a benefit of working at the store so go crazy but just be careful!!

and, another easy way is STH (super treasure hunt's) have rubber tiers and printed TH on the rear quater panel. and its mandatory to find STH.

Just curious, but how rare/hard to find are these STH cars? I recently started collecting the premium cars from Car Culture and F&F series, and was thinking of finding them as well.
They are pretty hard to find! I have only found seven from four years of collecting! And besides the fact that they are extremely rare there are people called scalpers who go into stores and open the boxes before they are put on shelves and take them before people can even see them. This makes it even harder to find

YEARS ago I worked in the toy department at a major retail store and I learned about treasure hunts and super treasure hunts. I would buy up all of them and also regular hot wheels that had weird paint defects or cars that had different wheels compared to every other one of the same model. I have a storage container full of these. 06 to 09 mostly. I'm looking into the resale hot wheel game!

No that’s all right bro I’m just messing with you! Yes a lot of people do frown upon them but honestly I see it as an advantage to work at the stores so hey if you’re a collector I mean why not!! It is a lot of fun to find super treasure hunts and when people that work at the stores are taking them all makes it kind of frustrating but let’s be honest if any collector was in your position I think they do the same thing🤔

OK so you’re finding the basic treasure hunts! On your computer google treasure hunt hot wheels.com and on that website you can see the whole list of all the car that you have and the ones that you haven’t got yet
I'm pretty sure I have a Super Treasure Hunt Hot Wheels it's a 2008 made in Thailand Datsun Bluebird 510 color is yellow with black hood black trunk and blacktop can I find it anywhere could someone please tell me if this is a Super Treasure Hunt car because I got it in one of the Hot Wheels display cases one-year the black display cases that hold about 48 cars
