I have started collecting about 2 weeks ago and I am realizing that there are people who go sit and wait for new boxes to be opened and then raid all of the special cars. Or better yet they open 15 boxes right in the middle of walmart looking for rare cars. What chance does that give me? I have a full time job and am doing this for fun.

Hi Shawn. Great video. Do all the Treasure Hunts say congratulations on them? Or do some just have a logo flame behind the car? Keep these great videos coming.
The international cards will just have the grey flame logo. The US cards will have the congratulations on it. The supers always have a gold flame on the card. I hope that helps and happy hunting!
been out da game for some years just recently jumped back in and found this video super helpful in today's time of hotwheels hunting liked & subscribed😎
Shawn you said only low Production runs have the flame inside the Circle I have a couple Dodge vans that have that emblem on them but it doesn't say anything about a treasure hunt.
Need to check my cars but I believe I may have some of these. I don’t think my stores raid their boxes or at least it does not seem so. I will definitely be checking this out!
Great videos, very informative.. I see how you can tell what letter is on the case. But how can you be sure what year it is? Is it possible that a store may still have 2022 or others? Thanks!
Yes, it is possible a store can have older cases that they haven’t brought out. I actually found a 2022 M case treasure hunt yesterday on the store pegs. The Hw warp speeder. Pretty cool!
@@ShawnNicklaus thanks for the reply! So what part of the numbers or letters tell you the year? Is it either on the outside of the case or on an individual card? Thanks again!
@@st2su it will say on the side of the case which Mix it is and also on the back of the blister card. You want to look for the first letter on the second half of the code. For example GRX93-M9C0G this code is part of the M Mix. I hope this helps!
I have a question about Hot Wheels? I noticed that there are Hot Wheels Treasure Hunts that have two flames (doubleflame 🔥🔥) on the car and others with just one flame. It depends on where the flames are located. Models with only one flame usually have it at the back or on top of the roof. I noticed that the models with two flames are somehow much rarer from Hot Wheels than the ones with just one flame (With two flame, is not the same!???). For example the 58 Impala or 47 Chevy Fleetline, these have the flame on the left and right (i.e. two). I haven't looked at the TH yet. I'm surprised no collector has thought or talked about it yet. It should actually be similar with the TH on the Super T.? Please take a look at your Hot Wheels. What does it look like there?..Checked again, the ones with a flame might be rarer?
Thank you so much as a collector of hotwheels I never knew that there was such thing Thankyou very much I never knew that there was a difference to hotwheels cars I thought they were all the same until you made the video Thankyou very much now I am more aware of the hotwheels currently hunting for them 😀 😊 ☺️ 😄 🙂 😁 😀 😊 ☺️ 😄 🙂 😁
That’s funny because I got a hover deLorean that is 9/10 108/250 and it’s a 2019 with blue windows and it’s does not have a TH or a metallic paint it only has Pp-T on the back and the people who are selling them on eBay do have them but when mention Pp-t I was like is it rare or not but it probably is not
