thanks you for post this video , i waited for 10 years to see da cadzz move. wonderful work of art. / thanks boyd who create it. r.i.p my man / and for zz top who support the artist i love you all.
all the comments about Billy not driving; it could be that he lets others drive it as he doesn't feel the need to be the center of attraction by being the driver...he's Billy Gibbons, the guitarist of ZZ Top, and that is enough to make him the center of attention anywhere he goes. Plus, as someone who just turned 60 years old, I can tell you younger guys that the older you get, the less you feel the need to drive yourself; you count your blessings when someone else offers to drive.
I'll be 57 soon and recently bought a new performance sports car - this old gearhead has no desire to relinquish the wheel to anyone else ('cept my father if he wants to mash the pedal down a few times for old times sake). I get it that some like to kick back and watch the scenery go by..and that's fine, too. Just not in my blood.

@@ihave35cents95 My original comment had nothing to do with the car. Billy, at 71, is still doing his "thing". Cars & Guitars! That's what puts Billy on his own level of "cool". The car was Boyd Coddington's creation. I agree, it was similar in style to a specific era. Just a little more extreme. Check my name out if you're into cars, I've owned a few thousand of them. Have a great weekend. .
I would love to find out more about this ride its cool as hell and I want to know much about it and I have been a fan since way back in the 70s damn given my old age out of the bag ! LOL
The purists threw a fit when Billy Gibbons took a rust-free near perfect Cadillac to create Cadzilla. He said "my car and I'll damn sure do anything I want to it."
Cadzilla is the epitome of the initial design taken to almost animated proportions. Absolutely beautiful.
JeevesReturns Indeed it is. It is a pity that he wasn't driving it himself, I must Say! Lol.
Totally agree. It’s like fashion runways display exaggerations of what’s coming to consumers. This is the reverse order and is absolutely stunning.
Perfect! This is exactly what I pictured Billy using as an everyday driver.
Billy, you have got to be one of the coolest persons on planet earth.
@Gappie Al Kebabi (?)
@Gappie Al Kebabi HAAAA!!
It's CadZZilla
No...is a masterpiece
Not from tokyo!
Saw this car in person (along with his matching HD) at Daytona Bike Week 1991. Seeing it on video doesn’t do it justice. 20th century art.
one of the coolest cars on the planet and one of the coolest cats driving and owning it !!!!!
Ah, but he WASN'T driving it though ........ someone else was!
Legendary. A lot of older builds tend to look really dated after a while but CadZZilla looks fresh to this day.
When I was a kid they had a decked out semi and toured these cars around I miss that
Boyd C did a fantastic job fabricating that for Mr.Gibbons
" If you insist, at that price how can you Resist"! That's Right 🎵
Joe Kurtz, Cadzilla is one of the very few cars that Boyd Coddington did quality work on. Most of his creations were crap quality workmanship.
Absolutely incredible engineering especially the pillars. Nothing more stunning than a slammed and chopped lead sled.
Low and slow. Now that's cool.
i thought this car was destroyed! iv,e looked it up on internet ,i couldn,t find it...thanks for the post!!one of my favorite customs of all time!
Hotwheels Cadzilla is sweet,,, I have 2 of them in my collection

I've known Billy G since the late 1960s and he's never liked to drive. He did run track in HS though.

Billy is on his own level of "cool". .
That he copied from every customiser from the 1945 on
@@ihave35cents95 What did he copy and from who? What does the year 1945 have to do with anything? English please. . .
@@showandgo1 I'm just saying it's a common customisation
