People have left the ELCA in droves for many more important reasons..............but liturgical music like this doesn't help. Unmelodius and unsingable.
I agree also, that is rather unkind. She’s trying her best. She doesn’t have a bad voice. The ELW hymnal was written by someone who dropped ink on a page and expected congregations (most of which are not professional singers) to be able to sing it. It’s all over the place.
Thank you for posting this!

I agree … has no melody and totally unsingable. This is liturgical "rap" music. Everything sung "off-key" and sour-sounding.

Oh wow, this is horrid.
So glad I left the ELCA, I could never endure this every Sunday.
This setting is better then most, but the whole ELCA is horrid.
Not liking the solo voice.
The Orthodox litany
I'll take page 5 or 15 of the TLH every time over this crap
There's nothing beautiful or even catchy about this setting
Terrible soloist.
That is a somewhat unkind remark. She certainly kept to the music and words. And there is some clarity in her voice.
@@rolandaborn4905 yea but I’m just saying it like it is.
