Solidaritätslied - Solidarity Song (English Lyrics)

"Solidarity Song" is a German communist song written in the late 1920s by Bertolt Brecht and Hanns Eisler in response to the growing tides of fascism and open bourgeois authoritarianism. It was originally written with different lyrics, intended to be a more neutral revolutionary song for use in the movie "Kuhle Wampe" however with the rise of the Nazis and fascism in Germany, and in response to the Spanish Civil War, the lyrics were changed to feature a more distinct message, that of socialism, communism, anti-capitalism and anti-fascism.
