    I think the perception about extorting people when they are down may mean 'making money off of people who are wounded'...? Also thank you so much for this channel! I've just qualified and started out in Private Practice and these have been so helpful for me. Support from London, UK!

    I appreciate your video!!! I often get a lot of referrals from the group practice for a lot of complex ptsd, clients who have been through racism, homophobia and transphobia etc. I feel overwhelmed at times. I think the practice I’m at assumes because I’m a minority and a millennial I can fix everything. I set a boundary and stop taking referrals due to having a full caseload that’s not balance. 😢 I felt guilty however I’m avoiding burning out..😬

    Thanks for all your insight into being a therapist! I am very strongly considering getting a masters in counseling and becoming a therapist, and your videos have helped me be more confident that it's a good path for me. My undergrad is in a totally unrelated field that hasnt been super fulfilling.
