Two thousand years of enduring love and obsession between the female monarch of Qing Qiu and the ancient god of the Heavenly Kingdom.
When Feng Jiu was practicing immortal cultivation alone in the wilderness, she was attacked by a beast and rescued by Dong Hua Di Jun of the Heavenly Kingdom. The encounter becomes deeply ingrained in Feng Jiu's heart and to repay her debts, she decides to follow Dong Hua into battle. She soon realizes that her good feelings towards him have evolved into love, but Dong Hua is a god who has forgotten what love means.
In order to protect Feng Jiu, Dong Hua sends her to the human realm which results in the death of a friend. Feng Jiu enters the Winged Tribe Princess Ah Lan Ruo's dream sequence in search of a sacred fruit that can bring the dead back to life but gets trapped to relive Ah Lan Ruo's life for eternity. Ali is so profound! So cute when he acts like a little adult and saying things adults would rather not hear. Haha! By the way, the actress who plays Ali here is so adorable! She is doing a great job portraying Ali.
So Ali is a son but how come Ali is played by a girl?
TC R it’s probably because the original actor who played Ali before has already grown too tall for the role. Besides, it’s really inconsequential if the role of Ali is being played by a girl, it didn’t affect the storyline anyway.

@@Nyxxxis I was confused at first too about the change of actor. But I'm finding this little girl suit the role of A Li even better than the original actor. There were may funny scenes that this actress was able to pull off with her adorable acting and her interactions with Fengjiiu are so priceless!
At least they are bringing back the A Li that we all loved in TMOPB... so adorable

I like the part where Fengjiu and Dijun faced each other and Dijun recognized her as the woman in his dreams because after his life in the human realm, he kept on dreaming of the past and the woman who made him experience heartbreak. And that is why when he is supposed to be stoic and nonchalant on trivial things, fengjiu captured his interest thereafter and he subsequently fell in love. This bit was not shown nor mentioned in the book. Only this drama made the connection which is brilliant and made the story more smooth and fluid.
He didn't recognize her. And he didn't know anything about what fengjui strugles with him. He only knew in episode 34 when liansong told everything to him.
I didn't say that he knew about the struggles fengjiu experienced and did for him, I'm just saying that in the drama, he dreamt several times of his life in the mortal realm and he was asking himself who was the woman in his dreams. And then he met her and literally saw her face whereas before he did not look at her when he spoke to her when they were waiting for bai qian. I'd like to think that something clicked inside him and perhaps, I should be corrected that he did not recognize her for who she is (or what she did) but there is something that sparked his interest. You can see that in the way he looked at her when their eyes finally met. And for someone who cannot be bothered and whose interest cannot be stirred because of living for such a long time, the connection established between him and fengjiu in the mortal realm paved the way for him to finally notice her and eventually fall in love with her.
@@msyvih yes I saw that look on him too. But when liansong told everything to him including in mortal realm he answered he dont know anything. That look on him is because he listened fengjui mentioning him that's why he look shocked or something like that because he thinking how fengjui knows about him but he dont have any idea that she is the woman in his dream or that woman in mortal realm.
@@miamasamunne5125 Maybe he didn't know as much as he "felt" something. I think it was beautiful how they made the connection as well. He dreamed about this girl, and the feelings of love he had for her as a mortal somehow followed him to the Sky Heavens.
In the books it's quite clear that DH and DJ were destined to love each other, but they were not fated. Because they had no fate, DH didn't notice FJ once while she was serving as a maid in his palace. However, every time DH or his shadow/mortal reencarnation actually notices FJ or her shadow, he fells for her and she for him.
True. DH was already in a daze since he came back from the mortal realm. His love was so soul deep that his many million years immortal self felt physically ill from the heartbreak. Zhongli asks him if he wants to look at those records but he denies two times. Mainly bciz he though she was a mortal and thus they have no more chance of meeting.
But after Cheng Yu by mistake throws that blade at him which he remembers from his mortal life he definitely finds something wrong and asks Siming for the records right away. As that woman might have been an immortal too. I am just sad that he didn't make the connection with the fox since at the very beginning those designs were given by Lian song to Dong hua. But for him it was only a spiritual fox and he knew JiHeng to have been the one to do them. So it's good that they jumped that mess😅. I think DH figured out that JiHeng had no talent in that. But he just didn't connect it to the fox.
Anyway, after DH first sees her, phoenix mark and all, it instantly jerks his memory. Look at the way he focuses on her. And then he pats Siming, coz he falsified the records of him. How brave of Siming😅
It's different in the novel. There DH doesn't go to mortal realm at all. It was just a false rumour Zhongli spread bcoz DH was going to sleep for a century.
So in book, when he first sees her at YeHua's wedding, he falls in love at first sight at her. This he admits in the extra bonus in the novel 'Back to Chaos' to Feng Jiu.Fate also helps in as Shen ye and Aranya's fate didn't play out and it was transferred to DH and FJ instead.
For DH, that wedding was the very first time he ever saw her truly. Remember other times she was always disguised or he didn't even see her.
After he is attracted to her, his curiosity is aroused and he chases after her in shameless Dijun style🤣
I really wanted to see Ye Hua and Bai Qian together, we see the bride but we don't see the groom , sad 😭
Mrs Fox Even in the book, Ye Hua is not present in this scene. Only that, Mo Yuan should be here instead with Dong hua, Liansong ang Siming.
The Pillow Book is focused on Feng Jiu and Dong Hua DiJun that's why with the overlapping timeline if fans wants to see the other couple they're not going to see them, only Bai Qian most of the time. That's why I suggested most fans to disregard TMoPB tv series if they want to enjoy Eternal Love of Dream 😳😊

According to the book Ye Hua should come to the ceremony for Feng Jiu. But are we going to see the previous Ye Hua, same actor? I doubt it. Some said, he is not going to be in this series bcos he has some other project to do. Too bad. I love him 🥰
I really hope to see the scene where she accidentally kicks something that almost hit Di Jun. That scene was hilarious.
They changed it a bit actually. Instead of Fengjiu accidentally kicking the flower pot, It's Donghua who magically pulled the flower pot towards him along with pulling Fengjiu's leg from under her and her falling on her bum. And there's no Mi Gu in that scene either. I was really looking forward to seeing how Fengjiu blames MI Gu for that flower pot incident, but its a nice change, made Donghua even more naughtier. Hehe...
Yup. They change some scenes. He he but still amusing both of them.
Some scenes are being changed but I saw it turned out pretty good.
Although I'm hoping for more scenes for Yang Mi specially the one when Ali made a scenes in borrowing Yeuha clothes for Dijun. Instead it is Bai Zhen. I'm also missing the original cast.
@@marygracedungo4700 Unfortunately, they changed that bit too. Instead of Ye Hua and Bai Qian being there for breakfast with Fengjiu when A Li explained what happened exactly, its their 4th uncle who's there to listen to A Li explain what happened. Nevertheless, the scene was still very hilarious!
@Karen Santos yes you are right, although I missed the original cast still can't give up on this, every scenes are really good and keep on watching it in WeTV. Excited for this week also. Although we are coming to its end I'm hoping for Lian Song and Chen Yu in another pillow book. Hoping that most of the original cast be available.
Lian song was like bai qian is good at cooking if you watched eternal love you will know that she can only make fire finish no extra

Vengo is awesome. And As Dijun-Fengjiu vengo-reba is the best. Their chemistry is something special here. Repeatedly Watching till 1 month. At first watch i missed some points but after 2nd time watch i feel their journey perfectly. Mortal realm, sky realm, Aranya Dream. The most interesting part in Aranya Dream Vengo acted Dong hua and Chen ye two character but i never feel its the same actor. His portrayal as two different character is convincible.
This movie is about dong hua and feng jiu only coz story of ye hua and bai qian is finish already,it's like they are extra only to this movie.....
I missed the cute Ali in the first season.

The first AhLi was so cute and his eyes so expressive. This new child is beautiful but sadly "he" does not have the cute factor of the first AhLi. And the first AhLi was indeed a boy while this one is so obviously a little girl masqueraded as a boy, that doesn't suit well with me. What were they thinking...
I think they also didn't do a good casting for Cheng Yu. The new actress didn't captured the subtle but how apparent playfulness of the first one

Naaah! I personally had no issues with the casting & im even liking the bond of Fengjiu and this little girl who played Ali. And I like the new Chen Yu, she’s spunky. I like her interactions with Fengjiu too, they’re a lot like besties.

the kid actor who played A Li on s1 has grown up (in his preeteen now), so he can't fit to act as kid any longer, thus they have to change actor for A Li. Mark (the actor played Yehua/Moyuan) could not be cameo during filming process, so IF we gotta see Yehua later, it'd be played by different actor, or might as well no Yehua appearing in this drama.

@@moonlightpaw5868 I had no problems with Ali being played by a girl, the kid is doing great job acting as Ali anyway. If you want to see more of Bai Qian and Ye Hua then I suggest rewatching Eternal Love (Ten Miles of Peach Blossom). Eternal Love of Dream (The Pillow Book) will focus mainly on Donghua and Fengjiu so they're the main characters to this story, not Ye Hua and Bai Qian. Even in the book The Pillow Book there's barely any Ye Hua mentioned there. There was a bit of Bai Qian scenes but only very little.

She plays a kid role anyway, and if by any mean, i dont know beforehand that she is a "she" i can always thought that she is a cute boy anyway. I mean I would judge one's ability by his/her work, i never let prejudgment determine my opinion. Some male roles were played by female actors too before, some did good some not so much, and IMO, she did good as A Li
missdey I didn’t say her acting skill is sucks. I say they need a boy to play a boy role. The only role a guy play as a girl are either drag queen or a guy who dress up as a girl. I have never seen a guy who look Exactly like a women when they take a role as a women. I am sure there is a boy who can do a better job than her acting as Ah Li. In the book, I believe it was during this wedding scene that dijun has noticed feng jiu. In book 1 she did became a servant but haven't had a clear encounter with him. As for the rights of the book, the actress that plays zhi ye (dijun's half sister) bought the rights. Rumor has it that she wants to play the lead feng jiu however many fans were not happy about it.
