I really don’t know about that story because I’m from the Robert Taylor Homes area and that’s where I lived and grew up and I’m a big part of that community but I was a member of the disciples that basically was warriors who also were athletes that played sports and was involved in music and festivities and partying with the ladies, but they stories don’t coincide with my experience in the community, projects where I grew up in, and it was a whole different world from, other gangs and organizations because I was involved with my own community that provided protection for my own community as I grew older and I created opportunities for the younger generation because we had had the park district, but their also was other entities that existed as well, like drugs and prostitution which ranged from 43rd Street and state to lake park all the way to 47th Street back to state street , and this guy got his story about his affiliation with black hamster disciples but don’t compare to what I contributed to the city of Chicago and my community in the Robert Taylor Homes and ask him did he know what and how Robert Taylor held things down in Stateville , plus ask him about my big buddy who everybody knew about and his name was Melvin Reed

The documentary I watched tried to say David Barksdale was murdered and it wasn't an accident like this brother saying...
Barksdale wasn’t killed, he did get shot up, he survived the attack, but died years later from complications of the attempt on his life.
Dave did get shot, but he survived the shooting. He died like 2 years later from kidney failure which they say the shooting contributed to that.
