I was a hardcore non vegetarian before. I didn’t know that a cow is artificially inseminated every 6 months, and the calves are snatched away from them and killed, so that we can have the milk. 😢I also didn’t know that a hen can only lay 10 eggs a year, but in farm they are forced to lay 300 eggs. The hen gets so exhausted that she dies while laying eggs after 11 months. Normally she can live up to 15 years. Thanks for all the vegetarian recepies you share, helping me to spare their lives.

Just made them..... amazingly spongy. Flavour is good. If you have tried the suji only idli, you may find this one less milky in taste, which is obvious given we use much less yoghurt for this recipe. Overall another hassle free lifesaver.

Perfect and easy breakfast. What kind of rice is preferable? Can we use basmati rice or idki ruce?

If Eno is used the entire batter has to be steamed at once not in batches as then the batter goes flat
Is it so? Can't we do it in batches because we have more persons in our family and obviously there will be more batches
@@umashekhar3051 yes and you will also not have so many idli plates to make it at once. Whenever Eno is used, all the batter has to be used up and hence it is put at the very end just before steaming. I say that from experience, my second batch came out flat

Not necessary. My mom makes idli and after fermentation she adds eno to it and then steams it in batches. It comes out perfect and fluffy
We just need to whisk it nicely before every batch
