Loved the show and watched it religiously! Miss it a lot and don’t understand why it’s not available in reruns! The best friendship between Karen and Val was one of the best things about the show! I’m pretty sure I watched it from the beginning, and it’s amazing to realize it ran for 14 years! Though it was interesting to see/hear about the actors who have passed, the automated voice, repeated descriptions and mispronunciations were quite annoying!
The 80's was the last final decade that had so many originals , there was also growth & space for development across most sectors , computers had not yet landed into every home ,the giant companies had not yet sucked the lifeblood out of small innovators ,there was space to dream ,the 90's accelerated it all , the digital age became stronger along with the internet & cell phones & space between PPL became smaller. Today PPL r on top of each other , nobody writes letters in fact with a.i now we do almost nothing compared to those from the early 1900's !
It’s really sad that this magnificent Tv Drama with such a Stellar cast has not been made available or accessible to The English speaking public where it was Created . Only the first 2 seasons were released on DVD and since 2006 nothing else was ever released . The series is not available anywhere on the Internet or streaming services . It is only available in French Language without subtitles of any Kind on TH-cam Cortes of a now defunct streaming service called Fox Life which was a European streaming service . It is now Defunct . But the episodes are online in French and the series in French is called “ Cote Ouest” no subtitles the voic s of all the characters have been dubbed over with French speaking actors . REALLY Ashame . 😢

I never missed Knots and would LOVE to watch it all over All 14 seasons and they are online in European French ONLY !! No Subtitles even . It kills me . What about The English language . This was American Made . ?? It Truly is SAD 😢

I know if you know this was going to happened you would have tape it...but ..I don't think they had V.C.R's back than..🤔 They didn't ...v.c.r didn't come till the 90' s 😳 It's so weird ..now ...people don't play them anymore.. I have two...I can't even give away..lol 🤣😂
@@pamelamark3609 Y s The VCR came in 1981 . My parents bought one . They were very expensive at the beginning . They stop making VCR in 2005 but DVD player come in late 1990s . I would have taped All Knots Landing but I didn’t know then that it would be almost impossible to find today . I am not French . I’m from Canada and speak only English . Back when Knots started I was early Teens girl . When it ended Inwas Late 20s in 1993 !! Now I am 50 s Middle age !! . Oh well maybe someday soon someone upload Knots in English . 😊☀️🙌🏻🫶🏻👍🏻🇨🇦🇨🇦🌺

Larry Riley had lost so much weight but it wasn't addressed in the show. I knew he was seriously ill. Driving into work one day the entertainment reporter on the radio said he had died of AIDS.
Back in the day nothing could have torn me away from knots landing on Thursday nights. Back then that was my must see TV.
