The Hindley Street Country Club - A Cover Band Like You've Never Heard

- Founded in 2017 by Arranger/Producer Constantine Delo, The Hindley Street Country Club (The HSCC) started as a group of Adelaide musicians, recording re-arranged covers and uploading them to Facebook and TH-cam weekly.
Fast forward to today, The HSCC has amassed over 590 million TH-cam views with over 1,000,000 subscribers globally and accumulated over a billion views accross social media platforms.
Following on from major internet success, The HSCC now tours throughout the world to audiences far and wide. Still releasing videos weekly on TH-cam every Friday at 8am (ACDT).

And what's the name all about?
Hindley Street is located in the centre of the city of Adelaide, and many of the musicians who have played with HSCC had gigs in bands up and down that street in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. The name is a play on the reputation of the street, which in addition to pubs, clubs, amusement arcades, cinemas, fast food outlets and ice cream parlours, featured adult entertainment, tattoo shops, motorcycle gangs and a steady stream of traffic cruising up and down the strip. Hindley Street is an eclectic mix of activity today, including a university campus at one end. There is no actual 'country club' on Hindley Street in Adelaide, and the in-joke is mixing up a genteel concept like a country club with ‘Hindley Street’.

I think the voices and talent displayed by the band is awesome, I love every single one them but I do have my favorite songs they perform. But no doubt all that wouldn't be possible without the mastermind behind the talent and that is him!!! The man!!! Con Delo. I'm a fan and I will see you soon!!!
Their charisma. Their talent, their delivery of each version of song that they do. And they smile a lot. They are good at what they do. I’m 64 and never have I heard a cover band do what they do to the quality that HSCC do it. That’s one reason why they have gone global. Plus on screen they seem likeable people.
Great interview! I don't consider them a cover band, to me they are the keepers of all the great music that I grew up on, and they actually add a new musical dimension to those songs and make it their own. Con is a musical genius! I saw them last week in Long Beach, it was a breathtaking performance by all. I'll see them again in February :-)
