Guys if you ever visit Montréal, you should go to their shop! Since I live in that city I went there and loved it♡ All the candies I tasted are delicious and have wonderful colors~ 10/10 will visit again
I love the Candy Labs videos. I already watch Lofty Pursuits so it's interesting to see a slightly different take on how to do hard candy. Most of the methods are the same, but there are a few differences here and there.
They are 🤷🏿, but the weather where Lofty Pursuits is makes adding extra details harder because we have to work so quickly before the candy cools. Plus, we only have one person making candy not 2. I'm always amazed and jelly by the quality of Candy Lab's work & what they can achieve!
@@not-an-artistartist probably never since they might already have a good knowledge of how to make the candy.. did u notice on how in every video of them they never make too much or too small quantity of candy? (Like, they use all the candy they make to make the shaped candy, and this is pretty awesome already lol)
@@ezestaples9439 It's probably sold in batches of assorted candy that were "fails". I know some people who sell pins sell "grade B" pins that are scuffed or damaged in some way. At least it's still profit in that case.

Chocolate Potato there are enough comments complimenting the beauty of the candy... do you seriously have a problem with me not wanting to say what the fuck everyone else is saying? Give me a break
I’m glad you guys are in *Canada* for ONCE there’s a video of a shop in *Montreal!* I hate how *everything* is either in California.. LA and New York City.. IM SO HAPPY!! 😊
It's cool how they roll it and make it small The method is so close to real sushi with the the stick of the ingredients and cutting They are so cuuuuuute and tiny
Hello, I really love your videos! Thank you for sharing! I have question: what do you do with the very top that you cut off after you start stretching it out in the end with the help of gravity? Are you able to reuse the candy or do they just get thrown away? It's such a big piece or I was just wondering. Thank you!
I was, but recently Greg, the owner, was arrested and is to be tried for owing the state around 30,000 USD (for taxes). I'm not sure if I want to support him anymore...
No you won't burn your mouth, it would just be really warm when its at the taffy like consistency. If you try to put it in your mouth when it is still mostly syrup on the inside then yes it will burn your mouth.
I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your skill with us. Question- how do you heat up the granite table, and at what temperature do you keep the granite to ensure it’s just the right temp to allow you to work well with it?
His Enthusiasm after listing the ingredients for the ‘sushi’ is awesome.
“But all made out of candy!!”

W the artist? They should make a show that people pay to watch them do it!
We do not have to pay on youtube because in real life you see them do it instead on a screen!
mrandyvo2 Andy Vo So kinda like a concert? People record and put it on YT but pay to see it in person.
Christina Van yeah
My dad is at montreal right now i will ask him to buy me candy from there shop
When they snip the candy it's really satisfying for me
Me too
Totally
Que diceee?!!!!!!!????? Lhgvhxfvi
Me too i feel eating it when its still soft! Do yo also feel like eating it when its still soft?
Sameeee
Could we take a moment to appreciate how RIPPED they must be from stretching and folding all that taffy?!

Cyborcat candy labs more precise
This channel puts more detail into their candies.
They are way better than lofty pursuit

They put more detail but lofty pursuits is more narrative
13:08 That is the only time I've seen Mei smile, Bless Her Heart.
Lovely as always. Please do upload more often. This is my favorite candy making channel :D
I was legit thinking “why use white coloring when they can just stretch it?” Good on ya, mate! Thanks!
Jacob Pranski same here
They don’t want it a transparent white they want whire
The stretched white is pearly
It will require more work.
@@lily-jn6yg Why do they want Whire? What even is Whire?
Wow some excellent work here. Video was indeed smoother and the audio was so clean that I felt like I was there with them.
It’s amazing how it’s a gigantic piece and then turns into mini pieces
These videos are my favorite!
I like that 😎
Same
Same with me
Sameeeeee
This guy's voice is adorable
Very satisfying to have an Answer on the White Food Colouring!
Thanks for putting that in! - And as always its super fun to watch you guys work!
Anyone else want them to rip a piece of the taffy and eat it ?
FlaminBerry yes it looks sooo good
Me oh me
please candylab make a AMSR video lol I love the sounds !
It would burn their mouths if it was still taffy-like
It looks so appetizing but it’s like 100 degrees Fahrenheit
I have a question… how often do you mess up?
Payton_ _Saucez
They’re probably real good at this already. They don’t mess up as often than maybe their first time.
Not-An-Animator Animator ye but like,if they do mess up,do they get free candy?

i love how they do a tutorial as if we’re gonna do this at home 😂
I bet they have wonderful looking back muscles 😌
Rose Gold lol
And their hands can probably crush billiard balls......
Thats what im thinking of to
I like how you think about the people who make the candy, but don’t bother with that wonderful looking candy that they made.
Chocolate Potato there are enough comments complimenting the beauty of the candy... do you seriously have a problem with me not wanting to say what the fuck everyone else is saying? Give me a break
So glad you uploaded a video! I love them and have been waiting for one for weeks. Great job as always!

omg, I just love watching people make candy like this, I find it so fascinating! I also really appreciate the how-to explanation, it's really cool! :3
I like to sound of the candy when thay are stretching it 😍
Isn't that the sound of their gloves? xD
Lol yea
Gloves sounds good asmr😃😄😄
It's 1 in the morning. Why am I here, why I can't I stop watching this dude's videos?
Them: the candy is so soft!
Also the candy: *breaks table*
I love your channel so much!!! 😱😱😱
Another question! Do you get a lot of wastage from the scraps you cut off or are the used for something else? Big fan, thank you !
Jessie Matthews i would put them in my mouth :)
Wendy Liu not before me :o jkjk
I think they cut it into tiny pieces and eat it lmao
@@kmiii106 I know I would
the sound when you stick the candy together is so nice, and when you rolls it the knocking sound it makes and the sliding and sticking sounds.
My cousin worked at a shop that made rock candy
She was fired because she forgot she was making candy
Jesus christ....
Sarah Haley that’s what I said
What she make then
finaleee1 I thought it meant she was just giving the Customer actual rocks because she forgot it was rock candy
m e t h
These videos make you appreciate how much effort goes into making candies like these.
What do you do with the giant chunks that you cut off the roll?
AwesomeKitCat i would eat them
Some places sell them as specialty items, others throw them away and others probably give them to the staff
AwesomeKitCat eat em!
Lofty Pursuits (a similar candy-making channel) sells theirs as “unicorn droppings” 😝
What if they eat it like lol
I love these videos, they're so calming. I could watch them for hours. Please make more!
It's like like watching some kind of weird cartoon surgery haha.
oh my gosh, I just told my husband this video reminds of surgery...not because of the gloves lol
It's cool how they roll it and make it small
The method is so close to real sushi with the the stick of the ingredients and cutting
They are so cuuuuuute and tiny
"Guess what type of candy we are gonna make"

I know right
What does being canadian have to do with this comment...
Aluminum Shadows I know, like Canadians aren’t stupid they know what a thumbnail is??
@@denisekarmo4331 duhh, because Canadians are super nice LOL
I just admire how they stretch the candy by hand instead of using machines like other candy makers do. And for 120 times, too!
09:33 with translations: "*They see me sticky roooolling (TU DU) They Eaaating !!*"
They work together so perfectly! I love Candy Labs. The sushi candies look great
perhaps she don't want, but i would like a video explained by her.
btw de candy look amazing!!
Thank you stereokarma for another candy video
You guys are the best
When you stretch the candy on the hook Is that clean
It's amazing how well you guys work together.
I think the secret is being married. 😄
I feel like business in California or in San Diego would be really good for you guys
Aurora Cervantes *NO!* I hate how *EVERYTHING* is in NEW YORK CITY or LA or something! FOR ONCE ITS IN CANADA!! YASSS
Emily E alright tone it down
What? Just saying I love when people make vids about shops in *Canada*
OMG! YES
No SAN JOSE
I love how much effort they put into this ❤️
I was so happy to discover that this place is near where I live, I thought it was in another country 😅
Lucky you
oh....i want to live near by the store like you 😢
How lucky :C
It must take a lot of muscle and patience to stretch that much candy 120 times. That's pretty cool

Omg I wondered the same thing! Doing this in school we just rolled it out and ate it, but I really wonder what they do with it
They probably sell the scraps
@Khadija Chenik at the very end the candy isnt all the same length so that wouldn't work. Sold, thrown away, given as a gift or to staff probably
LOOK HOW INTRICATE IT IS AND THE DETAILS I PRAISE YOUR HARD WORK
I missed you so much
i love you guys! This channel never fails to intertain

Might make your teeth loose. Soooo sticky!! 😬🍭
I actually got a VERY fresh hard candy once... it's weird because it's soft when you start biting but when you try to pull back it gets really hard.
It's probably still very hot. Trust me, I've burned my hand attempting to make those.
Finally! Been waiting for another one of these for ages!!
Can you make one that says Je T'aime with a little red heart?
Its awesome how he is talking and telling us what they're doing and why.
why doesnt the girl have a thermal glove like the man?????
I think shes wearing them under the latex ones
Cause she's a woman, she's tough
You have three reasons man
Cuz she's not a wimp
Cuz she ain't a weenie
Am I the only one who just loves watching this process?! Especially when it’s still liquid but not lol.. that’s the coolest part
Wow!!! Good!!!

candy making videos are so relaxing for me to watch
I was like “yes! In Canada!!! That way I can visit them!”
Them: “In Montreal”
Me: “ oh... :( I’m in Ontario 😑”
The candy pulling makes me so anxious, but i can't stop watching the videos
If I was doing this I would forget about rolling and shove it in my mouth!!!
Lol
Can you guys PLEASE DO MORE!!! I've become obsessed with this channel
Did anyone else notice the hair looking object in the black candy.
Every sounds of making candy is so wonderful, I really love it.

It is so satisfying watch them mixing different colours with the white
Wow, it looked like melted glass in the beginning. What a pretty and cool creation~ :D
