I've been saying it and I'll continue to say it. The current Dodgers organization has more in common with The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence than it does with baseball. The front office is more concerned about appearances than about playing a man's game. And anyone who says baseball is a child's game, that is someone who doesn't understand the game. Ever since Guggenheim took over the Dodgers, it's been all about appearances. It's never been about playing until your arm feels like it's going to fall off, or letting a pitcher who is throwing a no-hitter finish the game, or allowing any serious individual achievement to be pursued. The only thing that the current Dodgers organization has to show for their accomplishments is a Mickey Mouse WS title.
