how does this speedometer show the amount of fuel if my motorcycle doesn't have a fuel meter ?... only a spare fuel light. and how can i setup the rev light to light on in a specific revolutions ?
this speedometer work on 2 stroke bike,i install on my y125z without any issue,fuel,signal,high beam and 2t light all work well,you need add resistor to the fuel signal wire it depend on what resistor ohm ur stock fuel signal,0 ohm is full tank and 100 ohm is empty so if ur stock fuel level was 75 ohm then you need add 25 ohm on the wire make it 100 ohm,the tyre setting is simple just convert the tyre into mm,say that you have 17 inchi rim with 80/90 size the calculation is 17 to mm 431.8mm,80/90 size = 80*90/100=72mm so pi 3.14*(431.8+72+72)=1808 ,just insert 1808 on tyre setting and if you use 1 magnet then set pulse to 1,many people asking what the diffrent 1 or 2 or more magnet,let say 1808mm in one minute was 108480mm in one hour was 6508800mm ,every meter speed was count in kilometer per hour so 6508800mm convert to kilometer was 6.5km per hour it mean every pulse it show 6kmh on speed meter ,if you add 2 magnet it will show every pulse 3kmh add 4 magnet it show 1kmh,i use 6 magnet mount on disc plate floating punch screw hole,the harder thing is the rpm signal,i using optocoupler to make it work and some people using cap and resistor to make a filter cuz most older 2 stroke ignition coil has a dirty signal i mean huge voltage spike so you need to calcurate the spike make a filter to clean the signal,one last thing ,after install look at rev warning light those led only light up if you rev over 10k rpm so if the warning come up on low rpm mean ur meter still pick up dirty signal,you must fix the signal or it wont work

if i install this on honda hornet 160r will it show gear position which my stock speedometer actually lacks
Yes it will, mine has only the neutral one so this speedometer comes with the wires to show the gears if you have it on your bike
