A machine is only as good as the operator, who can judge a machine's capability and use it to his best advantage. That being said, that little Kubota did some fine work there!
That was a lot of big pine trees hopefully Zack put a little cash in your pocket but then friends help each other out I was raised that way nice video Chris
Kubotas do a pretty good job for size to weigh huh. I own a kubota and love it. Always surprises me what it can do and the speed vs smooth ability. Great video. Ty
To The Top Crane we use ours on the daily with trunks so big we have to put a strap around them to put on the truck these are nothing for this machine!
I'm a rig driver for Ahern out here in Colorado. We are getting more and more new equipment all the time. I remember in one of your other videos you had one of our reach forks, I think it was an 8K. Anyway, thanks for your business.
When Ahern...... I think that's how you spell it....... when they set up shop on the East Coast for some reason they didn't buy anything over here on the East Coast we hauled a lot of it out of Las Vegas and New Mexico and Phoenix over to North Carolina before them
Where were you that the ground was that dry? Wake County is a swamp and the prediction is for several more days of heavy rain. I guess your project lake is full by now.
Could have made the sawyer's job easier if you'd lifted the trunk above the cut rather than below it. That way, the cut would have opened up with the log's weight and he wouldn't have had to drive his chain bar and chain into the dirt to finish the cut.
I don't claim to be a posy sniffer or a lizard lover but it always makes me a little sad when I see big beautiful trees like that fall to the ground I know they're big money logs it just seems a shame
Trees are living things and like all living things, they have a limited life span( it might be 100's of years but it's limited). Really big ones are getting up in age. I believe it's better to harvest them while they are still useful. Than to let thwm die of old age and go to waste.
The 57-4 is a good machine the company I work for has nothing but Kubota machines 4 ton to 8 ton, got 8 of them, the KX91 is the quickest machines of all of them you run them at full rpm you've gotta be a smooth operator. I like the 57 ours is on steel tracks we can move it on the back of the 5 ton truck. Where I live the money is in the midi machines, they work more than the 200 size hoes.
Graveltrucking I agree. I demo’d a bunch of different brands and the kubota was the best weight to power ratio for me. I own the 91-3 and it surprises me everyday what it will do. And yes it is way faster than others. To me anyway. Love the kubotas. I’m always being told when I pull up to a job that I need a bigger excavator till the job is done then I’m always hearing how it’s A workhorse.
Paul Whited I have a 91-3 too and sometimes it baffles me with its power to weight ratio - will lift half its own weight close in, crazy strong and fast
I removed the trees close to my house so I dont have to worry about them in a storm. Rest of my yard has a bunch of trees plus the 64 trees I planted. I had a 195 year old Silver Maple take out my brand new truck 5 or 6 years ago. Its not gonna happen twice.
A machine is only as good as the operator, who can judge a machine's capability and use it to his best advantage. That being said, that little Kubota did some fine work there!
Wow,..what beautiful pines!
Beautiful straight log, perfect for the sawmill I'd say !
Thanks for the GREAT video. Those big trees reminded me of my logging days. ....13
Kubota seems to work well. God bless you
Yep those were definitely some BIG trees nice job guys 😎👍
That Kabota's a tough little rascal! Thanks for the video.
Ty
that kubota has a set of nutz for a little machine lol
...and it's quiet too! That's a BIG plus in my book!
You weren’t BSing on big trees! Looks like the kubota handled them well! You and Zach going to Bunyan? Be cool to see you guys there!
Rihhnsa fvhhhhubihjrbcu by ghgyu the vvtyv ft rftgygygygti
Thanks for sharing, my pleasure as always, Gimb 👍
Like the video and the little Kubota exc.
when it comes to a mini ex ill take a kubota over any other make all day long, their 8 ton is a thing of beauty
i like deere anything between 13 and 35 ton, not much experience on equip bigger than that but minis kubota 1000%
I'm working with Kubota and Wacker Neuson in the mini class. I prefer Wacker Neuson for 3,5t and Kubota 057 for the 5 t class.
My 040 blows my mind all the time. I dont understand how 9k lbs can do so much work.
Video quality is sharp and crispy, good stuff
that little Kubota is a good machine to pick up all that
I thought that tree was smoking on the end, the way it lined up with the burn pile.... Paint those wood discs black and red, play excavator checkers.
Nice job Zach and Chris
It did what y'all need to Dow good job.
How long do you think it would take to clear 10 acres with this size machine. Nothing big 8 or 10in pine tress some brush bushes etc.
logger wade would be proud! Great video!
just curious what are you going to do with the stumps? and how come your cutter has no hard hat no gloves? guess he has alot of ins, or you do
if a branch falls from that high it splits a hat. Most cutters don't wear gloves
That Kubota seemed to handle the logs pretty good
When you got done tippin trees, did you have to start digging stumps?
That’s some Good wood there... We have a 110’+ Old pine in our back yard IF you want it.?? 😎
Kubota was an animal.. nice work boys
Those were some really nice logs.
Thanks Chris, them are some Big Trees and that Excavator has some power 🖒
6:45 Chris tries the "Tower of Hanoi" puzzle - large version.
Was he wearing spray on chainsaw protection on his legs?
Fun to watch. Thanks
Thats a strong lil machine there!
Impressive lifting for such a small machine.
Well pine is light wood. Not very dense
Nice logs!!
LetsClear18! lol really enjoy the videos!
I'm surprised that Kubota is handling those logs as well as it is. Where's the ole 250 when ya need it?
To The Top Crane we use ours on the daily with trunks so big we have to put a strap around them to put on the truck these are nothing for this machine!
scott mallery, that's impressive for a machine that size. Enough so, that if I were in the market for one, I'd give them a serious look.
I got one at work and we use it to place 3000 lb lock blocks for retaining walls
Does zach measure the logs to the size the mill wants them or the size of his truck?
I Was cutting 12" 6' mostly. They goto a lumber mill about 45 min away.
TAWZace what was the overall length of the trees. Looked like some nice light poles if u had a 18 wheeler load or two.
Good lumber!
it is hard to find a place to put the camra in the cab on those excovaters
tractorkid 101 not really
Man I like the videos you put up. Do you have hats with your logo
How did you like that Kubota? Compared to yr Yanmar?
its a quick little machine, its also brand new lol
I'm a rig driver for Ahern out here in Colorado. We are getting more and more new equipment all the time. I remember in one of your other videos you had one of our reach forks, I think it was an 8K. Anyway, thanks for your business.
I've never seen a angle blade on a big escavator. Do they make them??
At least you admit it Chris, anything other than a vulva are quick ! lol
Finally on a real mini, Love kabota
your leaving the stumps?
Chris, what does it feel like to run a real excavator compare to your new 250? 😜
Got some fine saw logs there.
Is that one of the new 5.5 t they have just brought out on market ?
Roland Elliott at least here in Europe it has been around for more than a year
Looks like a KX-57 too me. That “little” Kubota excavator will still set you back 100k new ! That’s just crazy !
A. Ellenburg 100k? With 30 buckets maybe. Lol. More in the upper 60’s range.
Paul Whited Look at Kubota’s web site ......
Nope its a 100k machine
Man you guys are looking at wrong dealer then. I don’t know. Maybe they lie to me. Lol
I believe it. I just got a price on a new kx040 and it was $75,000
going to be some nice lumber.
These videos of other people workin' are great!LOL!
Man where are you at? I’ve worked for Ahern Rentals for 17 years and when I saw the Ahern Sticker on that Kubota I was intrigued.
Now you boys need a stump grinder! Lol
Kubota? Finally you’re on a real machine :)
Do you run with excavator controls or backhoe controls?
Seems Zach likes dropping those last few into the burn pile, lol.
When Ahern...... I think that's how you spell it....... when they set up shop on the East Coast for some reason they didn't buy anything over here on the East Coast we hauled a lot of it out of Las Vegas and New Mexico and Phoenix over to North Carolina before them

really well wearing a tin pot you don't have those problems and gloves should always be used safety safety safety
How do you like the Kubota ?
Logger wade approves of this video
I've ran them all... Kubota by far out performs all of them.
Could have made the sawyer's job easier if you'd lifted the trunk above the cut rather than below it. That way, the cut would have opened up with the log's weight and he wouldn't have had to drive his chain bar and chain into the dirt to finish the cut.
Do you have to put the kubota back on the key chain when you're done?😂 Big project, small budget.
How does that saying go???
"Once you go Orange... You will never go back!"
just ask any woman who sleep with trump, they'd laugh in your face ;)
damn nice logs for a house
What about the stumps? I would have dug around roots and pushed over. Kill two birds with one stone. Great job tho.
How do you like the kx080?
Caleb's Junk Removal Service pretty sure that's a kx057
WazzUppFLO you are correct! I went back and watched the unloading video.
Are those trees being taken down just because they're too close to the house?
yes they are. Zach here.
TAWZace I understand why they wanted them gone, but they lost some good shade from those trees. Like the excavator!
they really never shaded the house anyhow. I really like it too. Rented it for a month.
I like that kubota
If you keep doing all these loggin vids your gonna hahave to go to that loggin show with Logger Wade and Cotontop3
Now work on your culvert install skills and you'll be a regular Logger Wade!
Yes, Robert Plant's "Big Log" was good background music for this video.
Would you trade your yanmar for that kubota?
What happened to his saw man?
Those are some man killers there brother, y’all be careful!
ya just don't see fellers using a Spencer tape much anymore
How do I get ahold of Zach?
Staking down some big trees Chris and coton top
That kubota looks as strong as a valvo I guess u might be thinkin of changein brands
We Cut down trees like that and bigger almost every day
Idk if it’s the camera angle but the bucket looks bent
I don't claim to be a posy sniffer or a lizard lover but it always makes me a little sad when I see big beautiful trees like that fall to the ground I know they're big money logs it just seems a shame
Daniel Scoggan the mills around me won’t even buy pine only want hard wood around here
I knew someone would have a reply full of hate

That's not full of hate, it's true. And Godamned funny😂
That is what pulp trees are for. These big ones will go to a mill.

I was hopin to see it pick up 16'ers outta those white oak....
I cut two `12s and then a 16 for the last log.
you need the 160
Hope your Volvo rep isn't watching, lol.
You didn’t call logger Wade
First comment

Those are small trees
Tree cutting fails get great views... Just saying... Lol
Tell that to CotonTop and Logger Wade!
Why do people remove all those beautiful trees from from around their homes? If you don't want trees, move to the city!!!
rrkreutz2 Lower insurance premiums. Plus could be a future build site for something.
rrkreutz2 them dam pines ant nuthan but lightin rods git beetles an die thin no1 will take'm
@@joerobinson7224 I have 2 biguns in my front yard that have gotten beattles and died.
#1 BC It’s America the last time I checked and if you pay for you can cut them down.
I removed the trees close to my house so I dont have to worry about them in a storm. Rest of my yard has a bunch of trees plus the 64 trees I planted. I had a 195 year old Silver Maple take out my brand new truck 5 or 6 years ago. Its not gonna happen twice.
Don't like the thumb it has on it tho
