@@patricklow5652If you‘ve been born and raised in Germany you are used to everything and it‘s not exciting anymore. As a foreigner, moving to Germany will definitely be more exciting. But that applies to every country. I suppose you are also used to your countries customs and find other countries to be more interesting due to the differences
Except that dialects in the north have pretty much died out outside of rural areas in S-H and Niedersachsen. I never hear anyone under 70 speak with a *noticeable* dialect.
@@wieneckem Plattdeutsch wurde uns noch im Kindergarten beigebracht, aber leider spreche ich es nicht, meine Mutter leider auch nicht, aber sie versteht es. There is this whole joke among Hamburgers that we don't use umbrellas because than the umbrella gets wet. I have genuinely caught myself taking an umbrella with me, it starts to rain and me not wanting to open the umbrella because it'll be wet before going wait a second (it was a new umbrella)
I'm Hamburg! I'm an accountant so it totally fits the stereotype, too! We just had a conversation about how no other department understands when we respond to sarcasm with even more sarcasm!
Yes and no. It's recognized as a regional minority language by the EU, but Platt (or Low German) itself is linguistically speaking very clearly a German dialect
That’s very funny please keep on doing that kind of videos. I’m from Germany and I can laugh about ourselves and love the way you point out things about some situations or cities and so on 😊🥰
I used to using umbrella back in my home country. But after move to Hamburg and I saw no one use umbrella and it's useless afterall(because of the extreme wind) I never use umbrella anymore. I embrace the rain now
I see myself in this. I always take an umbrella with me but never use it, no matter how hard it rains. I always tell myself it's not worth it that it gets wet because the next station is just some footsteps away. 😂 and I studied in Hamburg and work there now
Düsseldorf IS the only Fashionista. Even if we don't wash ourselves for a month we're the number one beauty in the room. And this date you're talking about.. we won it :D

When comes Stuttgart (Baden Württemberg)?
I actually do !! the one where you were wearing a black jacket right?
Of course I remember ! This is one of my favorite videos ! This one is nice too

The German ministry of culture should give you immediate citizenship for your service
In fact Uyen is making Germany look cool and sort of exciting
@@LilaVert-FR I've never been to Germany. Is it actually uncool and boring?

She looks so cute!!!
She looks perfect
Lol the face is a filter
I liked it too!
I’m here for the Munich and Düsseldorf drama. Mean girls 2024
Didnt Cologne and Dortmund date, because they are literally next to eachother.

@@jout738 Cologne and Dortmund next to each other? What.
they are not next to each other.Maybe you confused Dortmund with Düsseldorf, but even then Leverkusen is inbetween them :) @@jout738
I am so invested in this storyline already. When is episode 2?? 😂

The deadpan on "not Munich" was GOLD. 👏👏
Is it me or is does her make-up look better here then she got it done professionally? (she made a short about it)
Hamburg is so accurate tho & just the North in general 😂
Our humor may be dry but our weather sure isn't!
Personally I do like the rain tho! 😊
"only the weak use the umbrellas 💪"
@@tuffilaro1565 Oh nice a Yato profile picture :D
Also rain can be nice but only when I stay inside 😅

Düsseldorf's "Hä?" to Hamburg's dry humor comes across sooo well😅😅
Echt wieder mal genial Uyen!!!
"He loves football but he's bad at that due to his drinking problem" I cackled😂😂😂
The pink hairstyle really suits you
The way you said "not Munich" was so slay
"NOT MUNICH.. " timed to the off speaker voice got me laughing hard!
"How many times have you watched this short?"
Me: "Yes. Yes, yes, yes!"
People who think this is cringe
@SamuelMaloney-mb9sg really the fact that you got no votes
Hamburg only does'nt use an umberella because it also always storms and they break after 5 Minutes 😔
Yeah to be fair, Hamburg isn't just being cool. Umbrellas are famously ineffective in wind, which the North Sea has a lot of. 😅
Same here in Ireland. Only good for a light drizzle 💨
So true! I was looking for this comment. And because we have horizontal rain here due to the wind.
There is this whole joke among Hamburgers that we don't use umbrellas because than the umbrella gets wet.
I have genuinely caught myself taking an umbrella with me, it starts to rain and me not wanting to open the umbrella because it'll be wet before going wait a second (it was a new umbrella)
Also you can’t cycle with an umbrella. This applies to many German cities. Lot’s of people on bicycles.
I love these sketches…you’re seriously talented!
I seriously cannot get over how PERFECT that pink wig looks on you!!! Ahh I love it so much it’s so cute!❤
No, it’s not thinking about weakness what keeps people in northern Germany away from using umbrellas. It’s the wind that does.
What I was thinking too lmao. Y'all would fly away like Mary Poppins
@@solus8685 I’ve been to Hamburg in November and it’s really not a joke, it doesn’t work 😅
@@solus8685 I wish. Instead the umbrellas just break
Mood. I broke 3 umbrellas last year and Berlin isn't anywhere near as windy as Hamburg 😭
Cologne is accurate 🤣. I got there for a music festival every year. One of my favourite cities.
Okay, but that pink wig and the blue contacts look STUNNING on you!!! 😆😁🩷
The pink hair looks so good on you! Can’t stop looking! 🌸

As an American I think I will have to visit cologne soon. I can personally relate to his chaotic energy
I love Cologne but I would recommend visiting Berlin over Cologne as tourist. Unless you can visit both cities.
This is so spot on, on point! Love how you visualise the comparison between German cities.
As someone who grew up in Cologne/Köln, studied in Düsseldorf and now lives in Hamburg I can confirm 😂🎉
So you were a gay kid who became a model and now no one understand you x)
We need a whole cinematic universe with these guys
Can't wait for part three 😂😂😂 these are so great and very original content!!!
🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍Your eyes 👁 👁 when you said "not munich" like omg
omg i thought the same thing!! i had to rewatch it to realize it was a filter😅😂
We can't use umbrellas in Hamburg because the wind bends and breaks them 🙂
that strut was everything
The mean girl song in the background is everything ,well done !!!👍😂
She’s so freaking CUTE!!😍♥️✨
The last one “only the weak use umbrellas” is every person in Seattle who is over the age of 35

Plattdütsch isn't a dialect, it's recognised as a separate language
But no one in Hamburg really speaks Platt anymore
@@lucyapp4179I mean there are still courses to learn that in schools and some competitions of reading too.
but over here in ostfriesland where the dialect comes from@@lucyapp4179
