I do love the design of the Profundity and her class of ship. The MC75 Mon Calamari Star Cruiser was designed to invoke primal fears of predatory sharks and you can see the resemblance somewhat, especially with the dorsal fin and pointed bow.
So I just thought of something. Run Raddus, hyper space in a ship with a hanger bay, drop the ship in pointblank of the enemy ship, then drop the squadrons of bombers. If done right, you could take out an ISD in a single turn. I am going to have to look into doing this myself, I only have small ships, but it should work with a little trial and error and the right upgrades. I'll have to greatly look into this tactic for the next tournament.

A suggestion, if I may: there are a lot of videos out there on good builds and all that stuff, but it seems most of them assume you have cards from both fleets. Would you ever consider doing a video on building solid fleets if you only play as a dedicated Imperial/Rebel player who doesn't have access to the other faction's cards?

I am so excited about this expansion. I loved seeing Admiral Raddus take the Profundity into battle in Rogue one and I'm very much looking forward to seeing both of them battling away atop my gaming table.

My thoughts exactly. I want to board Profundity with Vader for coolnes factor and Tantive IV to properly detach from it. I would add neodymium magnets to keep corvette there. If I were a filthy terrorist scum, that is. :) Long live the Emperor
I know right! But that's how it goes. This game has a sliding scale, so while it won't fit everything inside, (Same with an ISD), it is reasonable scaled to actually LOOK cool on the battlefield as well as also FIT on the battlefield.

Wait, isn't dropping Ordnace Aspiration with Raddus an extremly nice cobination? Just dropping a heavy ordnance boat with supercharged shields at the right hull zone and a orientaion of your choosing seems to be an impactfull move. Also Profundity seems to perfect as a flagship since you can just lifeboat your admiral out.
this ship definitely has a place in my black dice heavy full ram list. i cant wait to use the drop a ship out of hyperspace right next to an enemy ship and then activate that ship and unload black dice broadside or even frontally and watch ships melt lol definitely happy with wave seven for rebels

With the strategic advisor card can you exhaust the card to pass your turn, then let your opponent go, and when it returns to your turn do you have to activate that same ship? Or can you use another of your ships instead?
Idea for a fun build using ion emplacements- The Kuat Refit and Armoured Cruiser can stack Heavy Ion Emplacements, Assault Concussion Missiles, and Fire-Control Team. Pair them up with Screed or Sato. Resolve Heavy Ion s first to try to use assault concussion missiles to deal triple damage on the hull. Probably terrible, due to taking one of the worst Weapons teams, but could be really funny to just spring on someone.
It's one damage, meaning it's face down unless there is some other effect triggering. Since you are (in theory) using both crit effects from Fire-Control Team on your weapon upgrades, these cards are face down.
After watching this and the previous video i have few wishes... A) make triple isd list a viable option B) get this wave available for purchase right NOW C) get a preview of wave 8 with large imperial ship that is not an ISD
Such a win for the Rebellion. The chaff tokens are going to save my arcs from those pesky ISD/VSD fronts. Aspiration might be the coolest title in the game.
I've not started playing yet but this ship alone is probably swaying me to focus on a Rebellion fleet first.
Are there any tournaments in west-central Alabama? I currently play it in my floor by myself. Still really fun, though!

Huh, a lot of the stuff in this pack seems to synergize really well with an MC75/Hammerhead combo. How delightfully appropriate!

Agreed, but I can also see me wanting more than 2 Ordnance Pods in my builds, ... and even using 4 of these! Ack!

The MC75 is like Moses in Exodus, parting the seas so your conga line can merrly trudge along to the Promised Land (only works with Exodus fleet).

As an Imperial player I mostly stick to Imperial expansions however I do love the look of the Profundity and may be a Rebel purchase.

Besides the fact that “Raddus Bombing” is a term now, this looks like a cool expansion. And the model in and of itself looks great.

Just got into Armada and I'm building a rebel fleet. I'm thinking I might pick up one of these when they're out.

I'm going to be really happy when I'm able to get my hands on this. The Chimaera is impressive, but I love rebel ships.

Dino Mate I love the assault concussion missiles. Does the extra damage on adjacent hull zones appear as face up or facedown cards?
