Nice “trade”. Alvin Robertson is an interesting character. He’s a stat stuffer without a conscious effort unlike today’s players. Problem was, he had his share of off court issues. Perhaps, afaik, his jersey was not retired by SA, the team that drafted him and played most in his prime. And just imagine Robertson is already part of the Pistons “Bad Boy” years.
WTF are you talking about? You clearly didn't know anything about Robertson (or the NBA) before typing that, and just looked him up on Wikipedia. And where are all these so-called stat stuffers in todays NBA? Luka? Trae? Maybe Westbrook from 6 years ago. Who else? Nobody. Not because they don't want to, but because players who are good enough to 'stuff stats' at the highest level come along once a decade. Let me clue you in: not having your jersey retired by the team that drafted you happens to 99% of players, especially those who only played for a team for 5 years like Alvin did. Also, he joined the Pistons in 92-93, and the Bad Boy years were 88, 89, and 90 (up until MJ destroyed them), meaning he wasn't (past tense, not "is already") part of the Bad Boys. I get you're probably not from the same country as the NBA, but that just means you need more understanding before typing on the Internet. Also, stop liking your own comments; we can tell when it's just one.
@@ninjachannel007 Preposterously ridiculous. It's flattering you eventually "liked" my comment so I get notified. And don't blame me just in case I am "not from the same country as the NBA." The league has become more global since the 1992 Dream Team. And thanks for making Wiki credible simply because of your (petty) comment. 😉
@@MrBez007I read somewhere that Alvin was actually a amateur Gold Gloves boxer before he switched to being focused on basketball full time. He definitely wasnt backing down from anyone of any size in the NBA. Look how he had to be restrained from Shaq 😂
I love Shaq but he did overreact.I remember he use to get fouled so much in his rookie season and I know he was frustrated but Alvin was being the peacemaker in this situation so he was in the wrong
@@NatTurnerswitBurnerz Nobody was scared of Shaq at 7 ft 1 300 pounds yeah okay... Well I got news for you didn't matter because Shaq was the best Center in his Era 4 Championship Rings 3 NBA Finals MVP so before you tell me he was garbage just look at his Career.....Did you see Bill Lambeir trying to protect Alvin Robertson here No now if that was Patrick Ewing he would of been all up in his face
I like how officials back then didn't eject Alvin despite him going after Shaq. Today's NBA, they eject players for too much trash talking. NBA has really grown soft
Pistons in 92-93 were a shell of what they once were yet it was only a mere preview of how bad things would get in 93-94.
And STILL they finished only 1 game out of a playoff spot at 40-42
Rookie Shaq getting ejected because he couldnt control his emotions, I dare say this was a bit of a learning experience for him
Alvin didn't know how to break up a fight, and he made Shaq's angry.
Look at Rodman. He's a good stopper with good timing.
Effing Lainbeer, dude was a menace. Rodman and Laimbeer on the same team was nuts.
Nice “trade”.

i think Alvin said something to Shaq that triggered this one. if it's Oakley or Ben Wallace the story would be different
Alvin was a bad ass. Alvin would not be bothered by oak or wallace.

No flops 😂
Stone Cold wasnt for the Shaq shit. Notice the crowd holding Alvin back. Shaq during his kappa brother like, when he was trying be the peacemaker
Yeah, I thought that was funny, a whole team of people surrounding Alvin Robertson, one player next to Shaq.
his step father would be proud of his composure lol

Yea right, Alvin was being a pest, he knew what he was doing getting under Shaq’s skin.
Alvin was holding Shaq for no other reason than to pester him and get him riled up.
Alvin Robertson would of whooped Shaq
Shaq overreacting to this day. :D
It's what he do...
"The real NBA" 🥊🥊🏈👀👀👀
Bill Lambeir wanted no part of Shaq but everyone else he wasn't afraid of..
Nonsense. Nobody was scared of Shaquille from that era. Only players who were scared of him were those who came in the league after him.
