Yes, I have TSA Pre-Check and just discovered Mobile Passport Control which helped me skip the customs line coming back to the U.S. (just a free app download!)
Thank you so much for the info. I really like your suggestion about traveling to places closer to the US to get a feel for travel before making longer trips.
So so helpful! My favorite tip you mentioned was making it easy on yourself and not flying to Timbuktu lol if you never traveled before. I tell folks to take it slow at first-check out a different city in your state first, then a different state, then a country that’s not too far and take it from there.
I embrace flexibility, lean into my sense of humor, focus only on what I can control, and detach from any outcome (because something will ALWAYS go awry 🥴).
Fantastic tips! I appreciate your attention to feelings of anxiousness, you are so inclusive in your language. I would love a video about travel and disability!
Great information and tips on joining expat groups and starting with small trips first when spreading your travel wings. Travel companion advice is really important; mine is my daughter, but she can't always stay as long as me.
I am so glad that you have your daughter to travel with, if she is not able to stay as long you can always solo travel a little after. Thanks for watching.
Great tips that are needed for travelers, thank you Dr. Maya.
Yesss, to journaling and mantras ❤
Thanks for highlighting the Expat app…it’s so helpful!
Another suggestion I have is enrolling in TSA Pre-Check and/or Global Entry, this can allow your trip to be more smooth with less wait time in lines.

Fantastic!
Yes you have to take it slow!
Videos really help me visualize myself in the space and that really helps!
I also love that you can find people who look like you and who travel the way you travel. So key
@@LoveStarsWorld agreed!!! Some of my favorite people to follow have similar tastes in travel as me.
It's so normal and common to feel anxious while traveling. Thank you Dr. Maya for this thoughtful video!
It means so much to me that you support all my videos!

@@marissapricehealsthat’s a really good plan. You can’t control everything and shouldn’t try to. Sometimes you have to detach and be flexible.
I channel my nerves into excitement for where I’m going!
I plan plan plan because although something might change, I feel better when I have a roadmap
@ me too!! I’m such a planner.
Canada was my FIRST trip out of the country! Germany was my next!

Your ancestors must be so proud of you!!
I always carry them with me. I hope they can see the world through my eyes.
