    Jeff, thanks for jogg’n my memory hadn’t used my big easy in a while. Haven’t cooked legs in a while either. Lay a rod across top and hang some baby backs the same way. Perfect in about an hour 👌. Great job as always Jeff

    Making a "mess" when cooking only bothers the cook. The result is what the misson's foccus should be. 40 year of cooking under the belt, I still have got now idea how NOT to make a mess. Cookin' this tonight, kids love them. So, another "mess" tonight !

    I like the chicken holder but it looks like it's a pain to deal with and you're not being rude bbq sauce on your face just means it was really good. Have a great day my friend.

      @@Armadillopepper I made an amazing pork butt in mine last month. So easy, and it was only $5 from Kroger. Got some sweet buns, made some slaw, and we were set for a few meals.

    How does the Big Easy compare to real deep fried?

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't get good crisp breading like you can with oil. But, when it comes to good skin texture without oil and the health benefit of not oil, it rocks.

    • @shumardi1
      @shumardi1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m trying to compare this to cooking over a hot bed of charcoal. I guess the advantage is you get the direct radiant heat without the flare ups.

    • @Armadillopepper
      @Armadillopepper  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are correct. No flare ups, no need to turn the food. It's a radiant heat technique where heat is coming from all sides. For large cuts of meat like a tukey, you get a more even cook than if you were grilling direct over charcoal (not smoking).

  • @onlyychevys

    I don't know what to think about the Big Easy. Seems to me it would be just as easy or easier on a grill. Sure looked good and juicy though!

    • @Armadillopepper
