@@saraaceves6642 Hi Sara! Yes, I love their oysters! Cafe Beignet really surprised me that beignets could be even better than any I had before this trip.
Great video. Just got home from NOLA yesterday and funny enough we ate at most of the places in your video. Best breakfast was cafe fleur De lis best grilled oysters was saints and sinners and we ate them every day sometimes twice. Best crawfish was boil seafood. Always a great time there.
New Orleans is in my list!! This was awesome! I always love finding new channels with food content. I love your filming style, keep up the great work!! I just uploaded a new food tour in my channel too!
Been there multiple times, here's my take: Parkway, never been there, but its very close to Katie's, which is delicious! French Market is amazing, but we got our Muffaleta from Napoleon House. My crew prefers Cafe Beignet over Du Monde. Both are good though. Mother's has the best dang Roast Beef Po Boy in the universe. Loved your video series, hope to see you there next year!
Parkway was awesome! I’d love to hang there for a Sunday afternoon. I’ll have to try Katie’s and Napoleon House next time. IMO- Cafe du Monde is overrated (unpopular opinion, I know) and Cafe Beignet was soooooo much more delicious ❤️ Thank you so much for watching!
Yes, Acme is a must!! Also Mr B, Muriel’s, Commander Palace are always for us . We just tried Willie Mae; chicken soo good but the buttered beans are amazing!!
Oooh I am adding these to my list of places to eat next time! I keep hearing about Willie Mae! These first videos, I wanted to hit the high points, and my plan is to branch out in a new video that gives more food options for those of us who have been several times. I love food 🤤
Love your videos, but Mothers is SO overated. Tourists go to Mothers, locals avoid it. Lived in NOLA years ago and visit almost yearly. Drago's for charbroiled oysters. Comander's Palace for anything and 25 cent martinis at lunch. Just saw your Las Vegas video...wish I had seen it before I went there last year. You are the best I have seen on TH-cam for helping people. Thank you. Of course, I subscribed.
Thank you so much Michael. I’ve been to Drago’s but I’ll have to look into Comander’s Palace. Can’t pass up a 25¢ martini 🍸 Yeah, after filming at Mother’s and really thinking about it…while I enjoyed the food, and the small diner atmosphere, the food was kinda bland. I’m happy we went since I’ve heard so much about it, but not sure I’ll be hurrying back next time we visit. It’s a similar situation to Cafe du Monde. The beignets are fine, but I prefer Cafe Beignet much better. Go to du Monde, cross it off your list, then go eat some reallly good ones somewhere else 😂
@@gotravelwithstaci we are planning to come to New Orleans as our vacation and was researching the food scenes. If yall are still in New Orleans more videos! P.s. besides what's not in the video what do you recommend as a husband/wife thing to see or eat at? Somewhere romantic perhaps? Trying to impress the wife on the trip. Help a guy out.
Hi Linchpin! Everyone has their own favorites. I wouldn’t say Acme is my favorite, but this video was more focused on the “usual tourist” stops. Dragos has been recently added to my list, but sadly I can’t try everything in one visit. Luckily I don’t live far from New Orleans, and have been fortunate enough to visit a lot over the years. While I may not showcase your favorite places, trust that each time I return, I will be able to branch out to new places in the next video. Thank you so much for watching!

Everything looked oh soooo good! ACME is one of our favorite, it’s a must! The Cafe Beignets good too :))

I am drooling over the bread pudding! Bourbon sauce!
It's so good!

Will add everything on my list!!!!
Yay! Hope you love all of it!
Shared! Yum yum! Time for a trip to NOLA!
I'll be your tour guide!
This is an excellent video!
Glad you enjoyed it

Favorite? oysters...definitely oysters
I was surprised I loved the oysters, but only chargrilled for me. Now I look forward to them every time I visit! Thank you for watching!

You look mighty nifty in purple hair!
Haha I'm starting a wig collection!
I would love to try a real muffuletta
I was surprised by how much I liked it. Very olive-y 🫒
Crystals hot sauce is the best, it’s about the flavor not the spice.
100% on this every day!
Amen and hallelujah to that!
am i watching you throw away the heads????????????? people are starving
haha 😂
Educate yourself before you come to the city.... Acme is not the place to get charbroiled oysters go to the original creator Dragos....
