It's actually pronounced BOO-Dan, and I would recommend making the drive to Scott LA (about 2 1/2 hours from NOLA). Get a Pepper Jack Boudin Ball from Billy's! Also try Loretta's in the French Market for Beignets next time. I think they're better than Cafe Du Monde and the line is significantly shorter.
Thanks for letting us know! We unintentionally mispronounce a lot of words and our accents don’t always help. 😂 We’ll have to check out Billy’s and Loretta’s next time. Any excuse to eat more boudin balls and beignets. Thanks for watching!
Such a great food tour! I’ve watched several because we’re going to the Big Easy next weekend! Thank you for this effort, we are adding a few stops from this video!
Great choices! I like how you include a map, that gives me a sense of where they’re located and how far away. I’m looking forward to going to all the places! (Except Cafe du Monde, been there and prefer Cafe Beignet)
Try leaving the French Quarter; there’s a whole city out there where people other than tourists eat. Also, it’s coffee and chicory and you can get it at every place in the city but Starbucks. No one would drink straight up chicory. I won’t comment on pronunciation-you gotta be from here to get it right. Come visit again. I’ll show you how to actually eat crawfish.
We've been to New Orleans multiple times and gone other places besides the French Quarter! But for this specific video, we wanted to make it about the French Quarter area since that's where most people go :). As for chicory, yes, sorry if it wasn't clear in the video but we know no one would drink straight up chicory haha.
That sounds incredible and I’m a little disappointed in myself for not thinking of that! 😂😂😂 We will have to try Mr. B’s on our next visit! Thanks you for watching!
Great video! My new fav TH-camrs. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities next time you go check out Camellia Grill for breakfast then walk over to New Orleans original daquiri for a drink after. I’m going to Nashville in a few months any must spots of yours that I should check out.
Thanks for the tips! There's so many great spots to check out, depending on what you like but we love Bringles (bbq) it's a new restaurant and a great set up in the Nations neighborhood just outside or downtown. Red Headed Stranger is one of our other fav places! Enjoy!!
Pronounce it with me please..."boo-dan, boo-dan". Not boo-deen, not bowden, not boo-din...it is "boo-dan". Im teasing you. At any rate, you did hit some of the best spots and some not so good. If you ever want some advice on Nola restaurants, Ive eaten at 104 different places now. If you wanna hit me up, I can send you a list of places you should try. Great video!
haha! we definitely won't mispronounce it next time! Hate to hear you say some spots weren't good for you but everyone has different tastes! Thanks so much for watching!
It would be great; That instead of the criticism. Pherhps they could let everyone know the local spots to hit.. It's sad because, you ask for any other good places .@strangetravels
Y'all need to go to a proper crawfish berl the next time y'all visit NOLA. Frankie and Johnny's is probably the best restaurant to get berled crawfish outside of a berl held at someone's house. Hit up Parkway Tavern for what is probably the best po-boy in town next time y'all come, granted, Verti Marte is no slouch in the slightest.
Muffuletta from Verti Mart puts Central Grocer to shame. Wife and I tried one from central grocer and half way through, we threw it in the trash and walked to Verti mart to buy what we were really craving.
Cafe du Monde is overrated. Cafe Beignet is MUCH better. French Toast is a good place. The Gumbo Shop has the best gumbo imho, but the rest of their menu is just ok.
Hi! We've said in multiple videos that we try our best and aren't always 100% right in how we say everything. Thanks for watching! If there's something we're not pronouncing right, please let us know. We aren't doing it on purpose and always try to ask locals or do research before hand.
I loved the editing. This was a great food tour and I kind of get it that it has to include Cafe du Monde, I hate the coffee there. I wish that was better. I liked - subscribed- and hit the notification bell for more ST food vlogs

Whoooaaa buddy each meal has my mouth watering! I gotta get back to get back to New Orleans!
Yes!!! so good!

Insider tip, get the gumbo on the jambalaya. That white rice don't do it. Also, Mr. B's ya ya gumbo is on another level. Thanks for the content!
That sounds incredible and I’m a little disappointed in myself for not thinking of that! 😂😂😂 We will have to try Mr. B’s on our next visit! Thanks you for watching!

Frankie and Johnny's is a great local place in uptown. Great vibe off the beaten path. Nice shoutout!

Verti Mart is special, for sure! I could go for either one right now! 🤣🤣🤣

Arnaud"s is pronounced Ar-No's
Thanks for the tip!
There is no spinach in true oysters Rockefeller
Hi! Not sure where you saw spinach, but there wasn't any in ours!
Cafe du Monde is overrated. Cafe Beignet is MUCH better. French Toast is a good place. The Gumbo Shop has the best gumbo imho, but the rest of their menu is just ok.
We've wanted to visit Café Beignet! Will definitely be on our list for next time :)
Yes it is much better!

Thank you for being nice. We have learned this and obviously did not mean to mispronounce! @@wrendogg8

I'm going to guess that Clint is a Capricorn and Lauren is a Virgo.
Haha! I would love to know why, but nope! Lauren is a Leo and Clint is Pisces
