    Thanks for this video. After standing up last summer and the take off and land drills, I finally had sustained controllable flight today. In only 4th gear! It was awesome!!!

      Great for you...it all depends on what wing you are using too...but keep one thing in mind...speed is your friend...Just like a plane can "stall" at lower speeds...so the slower you go the more unstable and unbalanced your board will be...the fast you go the more stable your board will be...but also the faster you go the more lift you will have so you have to bring your point of balance forward...a couple inches moving forward will be enough....thank you for the comment and have fun out there

      Great to know but… if there is any questions of doubts let me know… if you are on the market to buy a Fliteboard I can help with the correct set up for you. Cheers

    Totally agree Rolando. Heal side turn easier to learn and can carve harder. Toe side is a leap of faith some days. I have found from watching other folks ride I have same setup but turn my front foot more sideways and look into the turn and for some reason helps carve harder toe side. Again like you said what works and feels good. Thanks for your videos!

      Glad to hear that man,...Yes, good point as well...when turning into the toe side is good to look into the turn and ahead...never down...but try to "grab the board" with your toes...what that does get all your tendons on your feet and ankles to be firmer providing a more stable platform...it works amazingly...More videos coming up soo...pleas share and stay tuned...enjoy your summer riding brother

    The main reason I can do the heel side turn more extreme is that the back foot is then on the top side of the board. So I can move as much weight on the back foot as I like and get the board safely to an angle, my wing tip gets out of the water.
    Doing the same on the toe side, the back foot is on the low side of the board, and putting even more weight on the back foot would lead the board to topple inside the curve.

      So even when you switch you are having problems correct? That is normal...you always will be strong in one side then the other...you just got to practice your weak side for longer rides...try to stay on your weak side longer then in your strong side...I cant even switch ...so I get blow down wind lol...I just got to be careful on the day when the wind is blowing off shore otherwise I can come back home...it sounds like you are doing much better than I lol

      Are you asking me as what gear and set up of wingfoil will be best for you or what wingfoil set up I use???

      I'm interested in your current gear.

      @@R00063Rt My start up gear is an Armstrong 2400 wing, 300 stab, 99 liter board and a 4m duotone wing, then I got a 850 Armstrong wing, a 245 stab, a 5 and 6 meter wings by duotone again… then finally I got a 80 litter board and a 7.5 meter wing by Gong

      Thank you very much. I wasn't aware that you are that into wing surfing. I was just considering what gear would be useful for guys of "our age and size" .. :-)
      That was helpful. Thx

      @R00063Rt the wings size depends on how much you weight and also the foils as well… however I highly recommend for you to use the brand Gong… the are great quality and almost half the cost of other brands because they only have one store in France and they sale direct to you… you will be surprised with their product… I wish I knew about them before I got my Armstrong cause I could had saved at least a good 5k in gear

    What happens when your legs get tired after 3 minutes…

    • @Coach_Rolando
      @Coach_Rolando  หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      You just need to practice more… you will built up tolerance… my back leg used to burn… now I rarely feel anything unless I’m really going fast non stop and carving really hard… like everything else… just keep on practicing practicing … would not hurt to lift some weights. You will be fine

      I was told if your back foot gets tired, move you body towards the back to use less back foot pressure and vise versa for the front foot
