It's a beautiful tank. I like petting plants too. I had problems with hair algae when I used wild rock and wood. The hair algae might originate from that wood. I don't know. I combated it by adding a ton of amano shrimp and scooping the algae out when I cleaned every week. It helped to keep it down.
Thanks!! I usually get hairy algae at the beginning of the setup and they are present for about 3 months. With regular mechanical removal and tank maintenance they later disappear. The tank is still young and not yet a stable system. It would be OK in a month or so.
Good video and pretty tank. It made me rethink my LED lamps placement. See, Blyxa japonica is almost completely RED in my tank and stem plants tend to bend and put horizontally. I will try to move lamps higher and see what happens.
You are so much inspiring to me...I have been following you, learning from you since last April (no I'm not doing any April fool) and finally came up with an idea to open my own channel in my own language. Love from India big brother.
I really like this tank and its minimalist style. You are not happy with it because you are a perfectionist and its understandable. maybe only change the lights and see what happens! Love the update video and the time lapse. Thanks for sharing bro!
To me you should take off all rasboras and change to other 15-25 neons tetra. I think that a bigger school of them should be so much better and their color all togheter should match up really well with all the green of plants and the white sand, while orange/brown of rasboras isn t so much appropriate with other color
Not happy? Not happy at all???? Buddy this scape is awesome.. something new.. really underrated! I would like to change few plants in the tank.. ammania sp, rotala.. that's it!
The Monte Carlo looks a bit out of place, really. Maybe sub out some sort of moss, something that would accentuate the shape of the 'tusks'. I still love this tank as is, but I bet with a few tweaks and additions it could be even better.
Why do I get this "save dogs" advertisement all the time. I mean, okay dogs are pets. But I could also keep a cow in my house and find it MEGA bad to eat cows. It's stupid and it doesn't make sense. TH-cam stop this
Beginning of time-lapse is funny...Doesn't matter how much you trim the steam plants...they just keep growing haha
That's right :D
Love the sense of humor. And of course the scape as well. That japonica bush could be a shrimp haven.
Thanks I appreciate it!!
Love the detailed update and explanation! Also great commentary as usual 6:43 😂
Thank you! 😁
Im bit jealous on u and ur tank. Keep up the good work. Love from india.

Very informative. Beautiful scape my friend! 👍🏻
Thanks!!

Thanks!! Yes, your lighting may be too strong, the plants turn red and bend towards the substrate.

I'm glad my channel inspired you to start your own channel. Thank you so much for watching!!!
Even with these minor flaws in plant behavior, the tank is beautiful. Great aquascape!
Thanks!!
Thank you so much for the info on the lights!!! Super helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Great tank,Nice work 👍
Thank you! 👍

Thanks man!! I appreciate it.
Id plant some red plants and will be done with it. But hey to each its own. Love the crystal clear water. And a very spacious tank.
Thanks!!
Your aquarium is beautiful, good light is the basis it looked nice how high it was a pity that the plant did not like it
Thanks!!
@@vladimirstojanovic3603 I have a question about algae on the leaves due to lack of light? and after adding the lights disappeared?
I really love your design 💖
Thanks!!
Nice plantion setups tanks....

Tebrik ederim mükemmel bir çalışma olmuş

Thanks for that glorious update mate! Weird your shrimps are not taking care of that string algae issue though.....
Thanks for watching! They probably eat some algae, but not all.
Keep it up master 💪
did you added the super 4 something like that before adding substrate for plants?
I'm not.
Wow. great. What is your tank size and what filter do you use for this tank? the water is very clear. very beautiful. thank you.
Thanks I appreciate it. All information and links are in the description below.
Vladimir Stojanovic thank you pro
Good luck 🐬🐬
Hope the rescaping works! I love this mimimalism tank.
I like minimalism too, there won't be any big changes.
You are not crazy, sometimes i pet my moss and ask them if it feels good. Its normal, right?
Definitely normal...
2nd chat😋
Edit:I've never been so early even though its 12 in asia 😆
I think problem with algae is because sand you use levels up carbonate hardness;) And of course lightning hours meters. 7-8 is enough
Thanks!! But KH in this tank is 3dKH, The lights on all my aquariums are on for 6 hours a day. This tank is definitely a mystery to me :)
Amazing, I guess you made sustancial water changes, with so little amount of plants the algae problem is at the edge I imagine!
Thanks!! Algae are still persistent in this tank.

Yes, I've been thinking about it.
This is so cool

Can water plants survive without the nutrients of water grass mud
lovely blyxa, how's fertz dosing routine?
20 ml of tropica fertilizer per week for now. 10 ml at the beginning of the week and 10 ml in the middle of the week.
I'm surprised the SAE didn't eat your monte carlo too 'cause mine does 🤣
He didn't eat monte carlo, but he did eat hydrocotyle t. japan 🤣
your tank looks amazing, how many filters you're using to maintain the water flow?
Thanks!! Two canister filters (2000l/h and 900l/h)
와 뷰리플😮👍🏻
Great tank and info but did you get rid of the hair algae?
Thanks!! Not yet. This video was shot 4 days ago.
@@vladimirstojanovic3603 how do you plan to get rid of it? i have the same problem 😓
beautiful tank
Thank you!
Ahahaha, I should start petting my plants
:D
Awsome
Thanks!!
what is the solution of green spot algea?
Where I can buy German aquarium stuff in USA?
I have a question: how do you use Co2 efectively? Thank you a lot
CO2 starts 3 hours before the lights are turned on. It goes out an hour before the lights go out. That's what you meant?
Vladimir Stojanovic yes thank. And did you use c02 diffuser or mix it into filter and come out of the oulet of filter?
@@leonguyen7005 In line diffuser jbl.
Vladimir Stojanovic thank you verymuch
Not happy? Not happy at all????
Buddy this scape is awesome.. something new.. really underrated! I would like to change few plants in the tank.. ammania sp, rotala.. that's it!
Thanks!! I appreciate it. I'll probably change something.
One more question, should I use filter build in with UV sterilizer?
You can if you want, I don't use UV at the moment.
Sir, it's true that people say UV is not good for planted. The plans will grow not well?
❤❤❤ blyxa 💚💚💚
Can Montecarlo_ Carpet growth on lava stone or drift wood sir?
Yes.
The Monte Carlo looks a bit out of place, really. Maybe sub out some sort of moss, something that would accentuate the shape of the 'tusks'. I still love this tank as is, but I bet with a few tweaks and additions it could be even better.
Yes you're right, I'll probably replace MC with weeping moss.
what sands are you used?
Quartz sand,of brand.
Do you use fert?
Yes.
❤❤❤❤❤
What tank & stand is that? Aio?
The tank and cabinet are custom made.
How much power is your light?
2x50W
How is your blyxa growing better then mine 😯
I don't know, the last time I had blyxa it died in 3 days. It does not like uncycled aquarium and ammonia.
The link to the lamp doesn't work! Send a link to the lamp! Thanks!
