The horns are a bit too gently tongued for the driven vibe this track normally has, and the bass is a bit too legato too. The keys are absolutely killer, and I think the lack of groove in the BV's is likely because of the laid-back approach the horns/bass are taking. Fantastic lead vocal performance, though. Started a little withheld to leave plenty of room to expand.
I got blessed to walk across this. Thank you Almighty it rejuvenated my soul
What a voice. Sly would be proud.
This rendition got better as it went on. This is superb!
Wow!!
Terrific
That voice🎶❤
DOPE
Oh they did their thang
Damn sure did
Really cool! Dig it!
¡Qué bien suena eso! Recuerdos a Javi Mur y Pere Foved
I absolutely agree
Woaw ! What a cover ! Any chance to hear you in Paris ?
I absolutely agree
Bravo
Who is the keyboard player in this band? I need to know
I like the version, but they're not in the key im use to hearing so I'm thrown off... LARRY GRAHAM played BASS I think....
The funk is missing ... however a nice groove and the lead vocals are terrific.

The singer is a little bit off. Just bit too slow.
