I would honestly love if you guys could react to the Netflix show that’s pretty much the sequel to this movie. The episodes are pretty funny, Melvin gets SOMEWHAT of a redemption arc(mostly because he met his match who’s a girl), Mr. Krupp actually does his job, and it’s more based on the comics. Also: someone PLEASE tell me WHY George and Harold couldn’t hang out after school and on the weekends/school vacations even though they were in different classrooms. Was Mr. Krupp just planning to keep them apart beyond school hours like the principal did to Steve and Snot in that one American Dad episode? Like this truly baffles me..
I remember reading the Captain Underpants books in middle school. Hell, I even have an entire Captain Underpants book in color in my house. When I heard they were making a movie out of this, I was actually pretty pumped to see what it would be like. But since this is a Dreamworks movie, of course there has to be celebrities and kids jokes attached to it. @@scootie_scoot no offense but this is a pretty shite reply I'm allowed to like StM while also thinking their take for this vid was a bit crap lol. plus it's fun talking to others about a vid when I've got a spare second in the day

This movie will always hold a special place in my heart, i loved it so much, no matter how much people bash it
This is one of my favorite book to movie adaptations. I feel like it did a good job of staying true to what it was
PLEASE be Over The Hedge, I'm still obsessed with that turtle
I love it when we as a community clown on these guys for having bad opinions
Captain Underpants movie: hi-
Spilling the Milk: THIS MOVIE IS SO MID
Loved this film made my laugh hysterical wished they made a sequel. 😢
TRA-LA-LAAA!!!
3:48 I mean there was the time they put heat activated glue on all the seats in the auditorium, that affected the entire school, and later in the same book they sabotaged everyone's science fair project because they got banned.
I love this movie. No one will ever change my mind🤭
You did WHAT 1:59
me when I'm in a "paying no attention, having 0 media literacy, and bastardizing actual good movies because I wont give them a chance" and my opponent is Spilling the Milk: 😨
This movie is another example of a book adaptation done right
4:29 ah yes, Thomas "the kid" Middleditch, my favorite actor
You watched a movie about a superhero named Captain Underpants…
Were you expecting to cry from a beautiful drama or be awed by a fantastic storyline?
Well, you should cause that's exactly what Captain Underpants is. 😎
These mfs either have decent taste or awful ain’t no way they hatin on this masterpiece 😭
I cant see this the same way after seeing Tomerson videos 😂
Fr
lol same
ALCHOL is the best medicine.
“Im just average super cool professor, not some creepy old guy who wants to touch your private part”
Omfg yes
I remember reading the Captain Underpants books in middle school. Hell, I even have an entire Captain Underpants book in color in my house. When I heard they were making a movie out of this, I was actually pretty pumped to see what it would be like. But since this is a Dreamworks movie, of course there has to be celebrities and kids jokes attached to it. At least this movie is very authentic to the books and knew how to make this a silly adventure.
I enjoyed it when I was littler without even knowing who Kevin Hart was and I still enjoy it because that's hilarious
I hope there’s kids jokes in the movie adaptation of the book with kids jokes.
You're saying this as though the Captain Underpants books were high concept novels lmao
A Dreamworks movie they need to watch is Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.
Fun fact that only I care about: one of the story board artists, Megan Nicole Dong, went on to create Centaurworld
I read all the positive comments that were clearly written before they watched the video and couldn't stop laughing XD.
do you mean the comments about them finally watching the movie or the comments praising the movie
@@zalo_1they are talking about the comments that agree with there shitty opinion
Bro did not say mother 3 is shit 💀
This at first sounds like one of those low budget shitty movies you would forget about 5 minutes after watching, but instead it turns to be a masterpiece that will be remembered for years to come!
Also you were too harsh on this movie.
I've heard Dav Pilkey was wanting to do a Dog Man movie. I do hope the movie is still in production and it turns out great
It is
Idk if it’s how this video is edited but it literally feels like they did not pay attention to anything in this movie
2:05 there was an absolutely HORRIFIC big nate reboot like last year. if you guys haven't already watched it can you please watch it and make fun of it so hard
best part of this was jack going into half the streamers on twitch trying to get someone to react with 😭
Dude stop having a meltdown over fart jokes
This movie is genuinely amazing, even as an adult it's super funny and charming and will forever be the BEST book to movie adaptation ever. It's just perfect lol
Disrespectfully, you’re wrong and this movie is a masterpiece🗣️🔥🔥
5:00 Kor is right, I see the vision
Thanks
Y’all should watch Over the Hedge, Flushed Away, Mr Peabody & Sherman, or Madagascar 2. Heres a quote from each if you wanna decide on one:
“As it is illegal in every state, except TEXAS”
“I find everyone’s pain funny but my own. I’m French!”
“Oedipus, lets just say you do not want to be at his house over the holidays, its awkward”
“Just a little peck, a smooch like ur kissing ur sister” *instant crash*
I usually agree with these guys but not in this case because this movie freaking slaps.
These guys are mad that the Captain Underpants movie has potty humor and never seem to understand when it’s actually faithful to the book. Ik they got bad takes but like cmon guys did you actually ever read the book😂
They really need to react to
The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants right after this one 😉
9:14 -- This movie came out in 2017... which isn't THAT long ago, but way longer ago than I thought at first 😅
I saw this movie in the cinema WHEN I WAS ELEVEN? WTF? I'm an adult now, what's happening?!?!?
The movie wasn’t that bad, you guys are acting like slugs. Captain underpants was usually about that kinda “haha underpants and toilets” humor
dude this could be my moment! I've been asking for over the hedge forever. its all i want in life.
Always entertained by your content, it's awesome!
This is peak cinema, you wouldn’t understand
The Captain Underpants books were fantastic, but I always preferred Dav Pilkey's over major series, "Rick Ricotta and his Mighty Robot".
Also YES, watch Over The Hedge. One of my absolute favorite CGI Dreamworks movies.
0 childlike joy, truly the krupps of the world
BRO THE MILKERS’ BEN 10 REACTION GOT THE LIKE GOAL AND THEY HAVENT WATCHED MORE!
Years back when me and my friend were little and around the time the movie came out my friend had a full mental breakdown when he had to go outside instead of watching this movie for the 100th time on DVD that day
Admit It; some of out out there couldn't *"Hide Away"* from Edith when she goes Lucy Loud's silence appearances of jumpscare unless some of you still got the hots for some *THICC* Underrated Cafeteria Ladies. ;/o

"Captain Underpants Theme Song"
(from "Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie" soundtrack)
ps weird al yankovic sang this song
Tra la la!
Are you worried about impending doom?
Those evil villains got ya filled with gloom?
Don't ya fear, there's a hero in the sky! The sky! The sky!
Its not a bird and its not a plane
And its not an egg salad sandwich
Its the waistband warrior
Hear his mighty battle cry
Tra la la!
Underpants!
Hey watch out, Crime!
Its Captain Underpants!
Its wedgie power time!
Na na na na na
Captain Underpants!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Faster than a speeding waistband!
Underpants!
He's busting down doors!
Captain Underpants!
While wearing just his drawers
Na na na na na
Captain Underpants!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
More powerful than boxer shorts!
His name is Under, Under, Underpants!
I'm saying Under, Under, Underpants!
Oh by some unlikely chance
Captain Underpants is his name
Tra la la!
Snap your fingers and he'll be right there!
That freaky bald dude in his underwear
He'll drop his trousers
And fight to save the day! the day! the day!
There he goes in his dashing cape!
Here he comes in his tighty whiteys
All the bad guys soil themselves every time they hear him say
Tra la la!
Underpants!
Yeah, who's that hunk?!
Captain Underpants!
Is that cotton pre-shrunk?
Na na na na na
Captain Underpants!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
Underpants!
Suspend your disbelief
Captain Underpants
He'll save the world in his briefs
Na na na na na
Captain Underpants!
Yeah, yeah, yeah!
To the skies! Wow!
Under, Under, Underpants!
I'm saying Under, Under, Underpants!
Check out that superhero stance!
Captain Underpants is his name!
Oh, Under, Under, Underpants!
He's Captain
Under, Under, Underpants!
By some crazy circumstance
Captain Underpants is his name
Tra la la!
