Meet ARIS Robotics - finalist for the Odense Robotics Startup of the Year Award 2024!
The robotics startup is on a mission to shift the responsibility of waste sorting from people to machines with their cutting-edge tech, specialised in AI and vision solutions to monitor and sort waste and resources at recycling centres.
The idea sparked within the team in 2020, becoming the foundation of their bachelor project at the University of Southern Denmark.. Shortly after, Sina Pour Soltani, Ann-Mia Ambjerg, and Christian Eberhardt founded the company.

ARIS Robotics’ tech provides real-time monitoring and analysis, empowering clients to make informed decisions and streamline their operations. Optimising waste streams and ultimately contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future - that is the team’s goal. 🦾
The company is located in Odense, where Odense Robotics met CEO Sina Pour Soltani and CCO Ann-Mia Ambjerg to learn more about the company.
"There is a huge need for technology within the handling of waste. It is a sector that has seen very little innovation and that is why recycling stations need help. We want to create technology that can improve work processes and gather data that can help us understand waste contents. So we can keep more resources circular and reusable,” says Ann-Mia Ambjerg in the video.

-ARIS Robotics was previously in the former Odense Robotics StartUp Hub at Danish Technological Institute in Odense, which laid the basis for the new Odense Robotics StartUp Fund.

The award nominees and winners are decided entirely by the members of Odense Robotics, making the accolade a unique honour among industry peers.
Winners of the Odense Robotics Awards 2024 will be 𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐧 13 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 at the robotics fair R-24 in Odense. Both events are free to join and open to all, but require seperate registration.

AgriRobot and KOBOTS Company are also finalists for Startup of the Year, while Coalescent Mobile Robotics, FarmDroid, and Unicontrol are finalists for Company of the Year.
